1 JOHN 5:11-12
"This is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God's Son does not have life."
Have you heard the expression, its a matter of life and death? Most of the time it probably is not true. There is one time that it is absolutely true. This choice is really a matter of life or death. This choice determines whether you have eternal life, or a life of separation from God. God has testified to its truth. The ones who believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, have life and the witness will be the Holy Spirit in their lives. The ones who do not believe in God nor His Son are making God out to be a liar. They put no faith in His testimony and do not rely on His Truth. Whoever has God's Son has life, whoever does not have God's Son does not have eternal life!
By not believing and accepting God's word, many have chosen to be separated for eternity from the Lord. The wages of their sin and this rejection of God and His truth will be eternal damnation and no new eternal life. They have made the decision and it will lead to eternal consequences that they and only they are responsible for. Thus their end is just and the decision is their own.
There is only one way to eternal life in Heaven with God. Whoever has the Son, and has accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts and lives has life. Whoever has rejected God and His Word and His Son does not and will not have eternal life. Many ask the question, what am I doing here on earth? The answer is to learn to know, love and fear God, and then to worship Him. Accept His Son Jesus Christ into your heart and believe in Him. You will be saved! You will be saved from death and receive TRUE LIFE!
