THE WHOLE LAW SUMMED UP!

GALATIANS 5: 14

" THE WHOLE LAW CAN BE SUMMED UP in this one command. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF!"

The Lord gave us 10 commandments and His Word in order to provide a manual for our lives!

We are to learn from His prophets and the Old and New Testament, His Word! There is an abundance of wisdom and understanding in His Living Word. The One Truth Today tells us that all of THE WHOLE LAW CAN BE SUMMED UP in this one Command. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF. The depth of that one scripture is endless. We know that the Bible is without error and the Truth contained therein can be relied on. That is why it is so important for us to understand what God is trying to tell us in this scripture.

Is it possible that all of the laws regarding human relationships can be found in this one command of God? If we comply with the precepts in this one command, is all of His Law truly full filled? If you do this will you be in God's will, and pleasing to Him? We are told to LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. In other words, treat people the way you want to be treated. Give the same care and concern to others that you desire for yourself. You can not hate your neighbor and love yourself. You can not ignore your neighbor and hide from their needs and wants, because they are yours. Will you help the sick, go to the prison, give to those that ask and are in need? Will you give of yourself because you love others? THE LAW CAN BE SUMMED UP IN THIS ONE COMMAND. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF!

How do you treat your parents. How do you treat your children. How do you treat your brothers and sisters. How do you treat those around you, such as your next door neighbor?

What do you do for your schools, your city, your country, and your church. The truth is that everyone is our neighbor, how are treating them? This is a command of God, not a suggestion.

LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF! How do you treat people of other religions, races and genders? How do you treat people that are not like you but different? Do you treat them the way your want to be treated? Do you LOVE YOUR NEIGHBORS AS YOURSELF?

IN PERFECT PEACE!

ISAIAH 26: 3

"You will keep IN PERFECT PEACE all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!"

If we tell the truth there are times when we yell or scream out in anger. There are times when we may use salty language. There are times when you feel your life is just crazy. The harder you try, the further behind you get. We may curse or have hatred or exhibit bad behavior that we regret and want to eliminate from our lives. The thought of our One Truth Today is very appealing to say the least. The idea that we can be IN PERFECT PEACE even though we are in and on the earth is something that sounds pretty good. The formula is laid out in this scripture. Do you trust Jesus Christ the Lord God? Are your thoughts fixed on the Lord and do you seek Him first in all that you do? It is possible to have peace at all times even in this evil and hectic world. The Word of God has the answer if we can just hear and understand it!

There is only one way to have perfect peace in this world and the world to come. The first thing is that you have to have the Lord first in everything that you say and do. The more we become like Jesus Christ the more we become like His perfection. In fact, without the Lord there is and will be no Peace. Man is incapable of obtaining peace apart from the Lord. The more you trust and know God the more peace you will have. As the angel's said at the birth of Christ, "peace on earth to men in God's will". Are you in God's will? Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior?

Do you have a steadfast mind that is fixed on the Lord and His Word? Do you Trust God?

You can be IN PERFECT PEACE!

There is one final component of this scripture that is of vital importance if you want perfect peace in your life. Do you remember to only think about things that are honest, just and true?

Do you keep your mind on things that are lovely, pure and of good report? Do you think about things that are praiseworthy, virtuous and Godly? God wants us to think on these things! He will bless you if you can honestly say that your thoughts are fixed on the Lord. We can only think of one thing at at time and we are in control of our own thoughts. Avoid thoughts of evil and negative things. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he! If you want to live IN PERFECT PEACE, keep your thoughts fixed on God, and trust in Him!

THE GOD OF LOVE AND PEACE WILL BE WITH YOU!

2 CORINTHIANS 13: 11

"Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then, THE GOD OF LOVE AND PEACE WILL BE WITH YOU!"

Many Christian believer's say to one another, "GOD BE WITH YOU". Can you think of any better or more important prayer than that? For you personally, what is more important than that the God of love and peace be with you? Our One Truth today encourages us to be joyful, grow to maturity and live in harmony and peace. If you do this then THE GOD OF LOVE AND PEACE WILL BE WITH YOU! Being in God's will should be the goal of every Christian. To have the Lord with you on the journey through this life will be your Salvation and the key to eternal life. In fact before you begin any endeavor or plan for tomorrow, it is wise to say you will do it, "GOD WILLING". That is another way of saying and praying that the God of love and peace will be with you.

To prove that you have heard and understood this scripture you have to implement it. Are you joyful and mature? Do you encourage others and live in harmony and peace with them? Do you put the Lord first in everything that you do? Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice. Always is not just sometimes, it is every time and all the time. Do you practice what the Word of God preaches to you? Have you put childishness behind you and do your actions and words show you are mature. Instead of always thinking, what about me, do you help and encourage others. Do you make it a practice of living in harmony and peace with others? If you can answer yes then THE GOD OF LOVE AND PEACE WILL BE WITH YOU!

God is the source of Love, Truth, and Peace. If you have God you will have all of those things in your life. Align yourself with the Lord and His Word and you will have the Holy Spirit to guide you support you. Let God control your life and path, it will lead to your righteousness. Always put the Lord before yourself. Become more and more like Jesus Christ every day. As you grow older and more mature, become wiser and learned. If you have the Lord you can rejoice in any circumstance. Pray that THE GOD OF LOVE AND PEACE WILL BE WITH YOU!

GOD OUR FATHER'S PLAN!

GALATIANS 1: 4

"Jesus gave His life for our sins, just as GOD OUR FATHER PLANNED, in order to save us from this evil world in which we live."

So many have wondered why they are here on earth. The want to know if there is a purpose for their lives. They want to know if there is a plan for them, and who made the plan. Many ask if this is "all there is". They want to know if there is a God and if He cares about them personally.

The One Truth Today answers all of these questions. God, our Father, had a plan from the beginning of time about the world and universe that He made, and about each one of us! God sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world in the flesh. When Jesus was sacrificed on the cross, He shed His blood for every one of us. Jesus Christ gave His life for our sins. When we ask Jesus Christ to Save us, He takes us from the evil world we live in and gives us new and eternal life in heaven. That was GOD OUR FATHER'S PLAN, from the beginning.

God has a plan for your life and if you accept His free gift of Salvation you can be saved from death and damnation. If you reject God you will be separated from Him forever and suffer eternal death. Jesus Christ the Lord God finished the plan to yield Himself on the cross to atone for our sins and save us. It is up to each one of us individually to accept the free gift of Salvation and eternal life. The plan was to rescue us from this evil world and bring us to the perfection and eternal life of Heaven. God has chosen all of His children and the question is have you chosen Him and His Salvation? God does not want a single person to perish and you are responsible for your choice to accept or reject God.

Every one who has ever lived is a part of the overall plan of God. You were given free will and you have the right and the responsibility for you choices. You can choose to believe the Lord and accept His Word or you can reject God by never accepting Him into your heart. Choices have consequences and you are responsible for each one. You can accept GOD OUR FATHER'S PLAN and be saved or you can reject the Truth and substitute a plan of your own. You can not save yourself! We all know that we live in a sinful and evil world and want to know how we can be Saved! Jesus gave His life for our sins, just as GOD OUR FATHER PLANNED, in order to save our lives from this evil world in which we live. Have you been Saved?

THE DEFINITION OF A FOOL!

PSALM 53: 1

"Only fools say in their hearts, there is no God. They are corrupt and their actions are evil. Not one of them does Good."

Anyone who lacks judgement and prudence can be called a fool. Someone lacking in common sense or understanding can be called a fool. Those who are idiots or are deranged can be called a fool. There is, however, a more important definition of a fool found in our One Truth Today!

ONLY FOOLS SAY IN THEIR HEARTS, THERE IS NO GOD! To deny God and His existence is the real and pure definition of a fool. It is the ultimate form of lacking judgement and prudence.

It shows a complete lack of "common sense" and being separated from the truth of life that is known even to little children. Even the most limited powers of observation can see the Glory of the Heavens and the Omnipotent power of God. The fools unbelief is evil and corrupt and so are their actions. Not one fool does good, no not one!

In order to deny God you have to deny the sun, moon, stars and universe, which are the product of His hands. In order to deny God you have to reject His Word and His Truth. In order to deny God you have to have an alternative explanation for the world and yourself. Believing in anything other than God requires more faith and evil intent along with a corruption of the truth which defines you as a fool. Humanists, agnostics, and atheists substitute a desire for their shameful behaviors and trying to be gods for the existence of the All Mighty God. They can not make dirt, let alone bring forth life, a universe, or overcome death. They can not Save themselves, so how can they save you? They are THE DEFINITION OF A FOOL!

Ask yourself this question, why would anyone want to deny God? Is it because they want to be a god themselves. Is it because they want to justify any shameful desires that they have? Is it because they enjoy being corrupt and evil. Not one of them does good. The want to justify any heinous act and sin they can conceive and they are an abomination to God. You have to reject the Word of God to reject Him. You have to be rebellious and defiant to the commandments of God and you have to refuse to bend your knee or confess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is the Lord God, THE DEFINITION OF A FOOL! When the day of judgement comes those that have accepted the Lord as their Savior will be given eternal life. Those who have rejected and disrespected God will be separated from Him forever in damnation. If you have said in your heart there is no God, there is a term for you. YOU ARE THE DEFINITION OF A FOOL!

WHO DO YOU TRUST!

ISAIAH 2: 22

"DO NOT PUT YOUR TRUST IN MERE HUMANS, THEY ARE AS FRAIL AS BREATH. WHAT GOOD ARE THEY?"

I have often told my children that they should never put their trust in a man. Human beings are frail and at some point they will fail you! The truth is that all of us have come short of the Glory of God and no one is good, no not one! Have your parents deserted you? Have your sisters or brothers let you down? Has your spouse left you? How about your friends over the years have they failed to meet your expectations? It is foolish to put your hope or trust in a human being! There is only one that is "Good", and that is Jesus Christ the Lord God! That is why our currency says "IN GOD WE TRUST". You will be hurt and disappointed if the true nature and morals of someone you trust is revealed. Supply your own example right now!

WHO DO YOU TRUST?

From the moment of birth all men are frail and weak and subject to sin. They may have breath in their lungs but for only a moment in time as they pass through this world. We are like a wisp of smoke or a breath or air. We are like a flower that blooms but then fades away. If we compare ourselves to the all mighty God we are nothing. Shelters do not stand and the rocks of refuge are here today and gone tomorrow. The One Truth Today is that you can not put your trust in mere humans, they are as frail as breath! What good are they to you? That is why we should always seek the Lord first in our lives at all times. Only Jesus Christ the Lord God is eternal and absolute. WHO DO YOU TRUST?

We are not saying that you can not trust anyone that is human at any time. The measure of your trust should be in equal proportion to how much they know and keep the Word of God, and their own. Their actions will speak louder than their words! You will know them by their fruit! The closer a person is to God and His Word, the closer you can come and trust them. We are all sinners and come short of the glory of God and there is no perfect human beings. That is why you need to Know, Love and Fear God. God is the only one you can trust for eternal life!

IN GOD WE TRUST! It is a foundational belief of this country. WHO DO YOU TRUST?

FREEDOM!

2 CORINTHIANS 3: 17

"For the Lord is Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is FREEDOM!"

America is a perfect example of our One Truth Today. Since the 10 commandments have been removed from our schools and court houses, has there been more or less FREEDOM in America? Since there has been a concerted effort by Socialists and Communists to deny the very existence of God has there been more of less FREEDOM? Since the Anti-Christ actions of those with shameful desires has escalated, has there been more of less FREEDOM. Since the rise of agnosticism and atheism has there been more of less FREEDOM? When people are trying to eliminate the Spirit of the Lord and His Word from our lives there will be less FREEDOM! If we turn our backs on God He will remove Himself from us. If you want your FREEDOM and your country back you need to bring God back to a place of prominence!

Individually what do we need to have FREEDOM? We need the Spirit of the Lord God in our lives in full measure. We need our hearts open and our spirit overflowing with the Lord and His Word. We need to have the Lord God first in our lives in every way, every day. Even a slave or a prisoner can have FREEDOM if they have Jesus Christ the Lord God in their hearts!

If you are feeling the weight of discrimination, bias, hatred of enslavement right now, listen to the One Truth Today. You can be emancipated from bondage right now. You can have FREEDOM right now if you have the Spirit of the Lord in your heart!

All things are spiritual in the end, including our worship and our Salvation. Your freedom can occur in your heart and mind in this moment, if you belong to Jesus Christ the Lord God. The present location of your body and its physical well being are not important. Remember you are just passing through this life and your home is in Heaven with the Lord. We will all be freed from our bondage and sickness and disease. We are all born into the slavery of sin and the same Lord frees us all. Invite Jesus Christ into your heart today and you will be set free and that is free indeed. Free at last, thank God All Mighty, free at last! FREEDOM!
