GOD HAS COME TO TEST YOU!

EXODUS 20: 20

"Do not be afraid, for GOD HAS COME IN ORDER TEST YOU, and in order that the fear of Him may remain with you, so that you may not sin."

What is it that keeps everyone from doing whatever they want to do or can conceive or desire?

Why is it that we do not all steal, murder, or commit adultery on a regular basis, as a normal part of our lives? Where does our sense of morality and acceptable social behavior come from? What is it that prevents us from doing what is wrong and immoral? What keeps us from sinning? The truth is that without God, and the fear of Him, there is no constraint on a person. That is why there is one group of people on earth who do not Fear, Love or Know God, and therefore they can do anything they desire or conceive. They will do anything to others and themselves. They violate the laws of God and man. They do not understand that GOD HAS COME IN ORDER TO TEST THEM!

The Lord gave us the "ten commandments" in a dramatic way. Moses received them at the top of the mountain with thunder, lightening, smoke and trumpets. The people trembled with fear and stayed a distance from Moses, believing they would die if there was direct contact with the Living God. That is when Moses revealed this One Truth Today to the people. "Do not be afraid, for GOD HAS COME TO TEST YOU. If the fear of the Lord remains with you, you may not sin"! That gave us the second group of people on earth, those that Fear God and Know and Love Him. The Reverential Fear of God is what keeps us from sinning! We know His Laws and His Word! We strive for righteousness and keeping the Commandments of God. Because we do this we do not have to be afraid of God!

The beginning of Wisdom is the Fear of God. The reverential respect for God and His Word is what keeps us moral and may stop us from sinning. Respect for God and His Word is what separates good people from evil people. Our flesh will be tested but the Fear of God is what will keep us from sinning. Those who do not know or respect God have no fear and will do what they want. Non believer's have no constraints on their acts and no respect for others or God. We are all responsible for our choices and actions and they all have consequences. Bad acts lead to bad results and consequences. We will all harvest what we sow. What can Save you and give you peace here on earth and the kingdom to come is the Reverent Fear of God. GOD HAS COME TO TEST YOU! How are you doing? Have you passed the Lord's test?

THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS!

1 CORINTHIANS 1: 18

'THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! We who are being saved know it is the very Power of God!"

Do you believe THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS of Jesus Christ is foolish? Stop and reflect on your true inner beliefs. The Bible tells us that "only a fool says in his heart there is no God"!

Our One Truth Today points out that those who are headed for destruction, that is death and eternal damnation and separation from God, think THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS is foolish!

Do you ridicule Jesus Christ the Lord God and His message of Salvation? Do you believe that there is no God or that God is dead? There are none so blind as those that will not see; does that describe you? If you are lost in sin and equate yourself with God you will find the Word of God and the Lord himself foolish. Yes that means all of you who have rejected God! You have believed the lies of the devil and you are on your way to hell, eternally. It will be too late to find out hell is not a foolish myth or idea to control the masses. You are headed for destruction!

We who have been Saved by the Lord know there is a God and He made the Universe. Look up and explain the heavens foolish ones. God is all powerful and has chosen you to be saved from death and be given new life, but you rejected Him and call Him foolish. Your choice to reject the Lord that can save you, is why you are a fool! Those who have heard THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS, are being saved by the very power of God. Our Salvation is a manifestation of the Power of God. Jesus Saves, that is THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS. The beginning of wisdom is the Fear of God and those headed for destruction do not fear the Lord. You will have your moment in time at the Judgement Seat to experience the Fear of God, but it will be too late for you! Your choice, your consequence!

God destroys the wisdom of the "so called" wise. He brings to nothing the understanding of those who are not His. God baffles and renders useless philosophers, professors, and leaders of the world who do not acknowledge Him. They have no real discernment and could never overcome the problems of this World. Do we have peace, is death overcome, is disease controlled, have we stopped fighting, is sin a thing of the past, is the world perfect now? Because of rejection and disrespect, God will separate you from Himself and He will tell you that He never knew you, which is true. Can you save yourself? Do you want to be Saved. Their is only one way and that is THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS!

CALLED BY GOD!

1 CORINTHIANS 1: 2

"To you who have been CALLED BY GOD, to be His Holy People. God made you Holy by means of Jesus Christ, just as He did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!"

Oh how wonderful it is to be CALLED BY GOD! Our human mind has a difficult time conceiving what that truly means. All that is Holy and Eternal has now become ours, because we called on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We asked the Lord to Save us from certain death and give us eternal life and He has done so. We confessed with our mouths and believed in our hearts that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and shed His blood to become our Savior. We have now been CALLED BY GOD! We are one of His elected. He had chosen us from the beginning of time and now we have chosen Him to Save us. We are one of His Holy People, by means of Jesus Christ our Lord!

We are now collectively the Church of God. We have been chosen, consecrated and purified by the Holy Spirit. We are now saints and believer's because we have chosen to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In every place all over the world and throughout time, individuals have made the decision to call on the name of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They have chosen to worship God and give Him Glory and Honor. We will have no other God before us. We trust God and are assured that when we die and leave this body we will be present with the Lord. Our Father in Heaven has made a place for us in His Kingdom. We are CALLED BY GOD.

If you are reading this One Truth Today and feel left out, much like an orphan with no father or mother, there is a Hope and a future for you right now! You can be a child of God and you can be one of the Holy people by means of Jesus Christ. By accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and believing on His name, you will be Saved. You will have a new life and a new heart and a new Father! You will become part of the Family of God. If you are alone and angry about your life here on earth then listen because you are being CALLED BY GOD! It does not matter who you are or what you have done, it only matters that you confess with your tongue and believe in your Heart that Jesus Christ is the Lord God who can Save you. Can you hear Him calling? Listen!

FAILURE TO PLAN!

PROVERBS 20: 18

"Plans succeed through good counsel; do not go to war without wise advise."

Most people do not plan to fail, they fail to plan! How about yourself, have you got a good plan for your life? Do you seek good counsel before major decisions? Do you know where to go, and who to look to for wise counsel? Most of will never go to war, but the principal applies to any major struggle or battle in your life. Without good counsel and wise advice we are doomed to make too many unnecessary mistakes during our life. The One Truth Today is that before you commit to anything major in your life, make a plan that is based on good counsel and wise advice. You would be foolish to go it alone, if you have at your disposal, the Word of God and the advice of His righteous ones. Godly parents, siblings or friends can help you avoid mistakes and errors in you life. A plan is drawn up to build a house and you need one for your life.

The beginning of Wisdom is the Fear of God. We are advised to always seek the Lord first in everything that we do. God wants to be a part of our lives and He knows every little detail about us. If you want to have peace in your life, you need to be in God's will. If we conform to His will we will find peace and success. Our prayer should be that we are in the Lord's will and that He will direct our lives and decisions. Remember before you say you will do anything or go anywhere you need to first say, "God willing". We do not know what a day may bring forth.

We will go here or there and do this or that, "God willing"! Unless God is in the equation it is a FAILURE TO PLAN!

Consider the source when you seek good counsel and wise advice. There is none better than the Lord God, but those of His that have righteousness and faith can offer good advice and counsel.

Even when you go to "professionals", such as doctors, lawyers, etc. if they are not believer's or in God's will you may not get Godly or reasonable advice. Unless the source is good and wise, the counsel and advice will not be appropriate. That is how we should choose those we support and listen to, do they know God and are they in His will. If they leave God out of the equation the answer will be wrong. The best advice and counsel is from the Lord, the second best is from Godly believer's whose life shows the fruit of their belief. The biggest mistake you can make is a FAILURE TO PLAN!

JOIN TOGETHER WITH ONE VOICE!

ROMANS 15: 5-6

"May God, who gives patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting the followers of Jesus Christ. Then, all of you can JOIN TOGETHER WITH ONE VOICE, giving praise and glory to God".

Do you think there is unity within the Christian Church? Do you think that all Christians speak with one voice? Do you believe that we live in harmony, giving praise and Glory to God? Our One Truth Today tells us what God wants and desires of His Church. The Lord knows that we will need encouragement and patience to live in complete harmony with one another but it is His desire that we JOIN TOGETHER WITH ONE VOICE! All Christians have one thing in common. We know and Love God, and we understand that we are here on earth to praise and worship God. We all do it individually, but the prayer is that God gives us the patience and encouragement to live in harmony with one another. Give praise and glory to God together!

We need to be steadfast in our desire to live in mutual harmony. We need to be of one accord in worshiping Jesus Christ the Lord God. We need to have each of our hearts right with God and then the encouragement and patience to JOIN TOGETHER WITH ONE VOICE. Many of us have reached that point of maturity in the Lord that we can join with other believer's and do as the Lord desires. Many times we have attempted to unite all Christians and focus on the person of Jesus Christ. Many times dogma and doctrines and religiosity have gotten in the way. The focus has gone away from the Lord and been directed to individuals and their church. May God give us patience and encouragement to live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for the followers of Jesus Christ.

We need to look for opportunities to join with other followers of the Lord and share our worship and love. We need to collectively praise and glorify the Lord God. In the "upper room" in Jerusalem people from all around the world join together and sing praises to their Lord, in harmony and in love. We unite our voices and our hearts, singing the same song in many languages. We become One Body of Jesus Christ. Our divisions become secondary to the purpose of our whole life, to worship Jesus Christ the Lord God. If it is possible to do this in one instance then it can be duplicated and repeated if only we have the desire. Make a promise to yourself and God that you will be a uniter and not a divider. JOIN TOGETHER WITH ONE VOICE!

PROVE BY THE WAY YOU LIVE!

MATTHEW 3: 8

"PROVE BY THE WAY YOU LIVE that you have repented of your sins and turned

to God."

How can you or others be sure that you have repented of your sins and turned to God? If there is a question, you may be asked to PROVE IT BY THE WAY YOU LIVE. Our One Truth Today is a clear direction to any believer. You are the living proof of your repentance, if you have turned from your sinful ways and now are following the path to God. If you are still committing the same habitual sins and have never changed your carnal nature, that is also proof of your never being Saved! If you have truly repented of your sins and turned to God you will have a new heart and a new mind. The old you will have passed away and the new you will be worshiping the Lord and you will be a new creature in Christ Jesus. The proof is in the way you live!

Sometimes we can be confused when we see supposed believer's turn their back on God. Some suppose that they are backslidden, and the question can be have they ever really been Saved?

The real question is have they ever really repented of their sins and turned to God for Salvation! Once you have tasted the sweetness of the Lord, where can you go? Once you have been Saved from death and given new life, how could you return to you carnal nature? Is that not like a dog returning to his vomit? Maybe many have put on a good show for the Lord and others, but the truth will always out them. You PROVE BY THE WAY YOU LIVE, where your heart truly is. If they are not on the path to God, they are on the wrong path, and they have never really turned to God and they have never repented and been Saved.

Your life is a real story that others can see and understand. What you say and the way you live and act have to be in concert with one another, if you are to be believed. The evidence is your life. If you asked the Lord into your heart and were Saved you will be a new and different person then the one that died to its sin. This is not to say that believer's never sin, that is a lie.

Saved believer's repent and turn from their habitual sinning and walk in a new direction on the path to God. The Pharisees and Sadducee's were warned by God that they would not escape the wrath and indignation of the Lord unless they repented of their sins and turned to the Lord for their Salvation. Their lives were the proof of their belief's. Have you repented and have you been Saved? PROVE IT BY THE WAY YOU LIVE!

ALL AUTHORITY COMES FROM GOD!

ROMANS 13: 1

"Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For ALL AUTHORITY COMES FROM GOD. Those in positions of authority have ben placed there by God."

Some people say they will leave the country if a certain person is elected President. Many are unhappy when their party is not in power. They do not like the opposition having control of them or their lives. They rebel at the idea of someone they do not agree with setting the agenda for them. They may feel they get no respect and that great harm will come to their minority. It may be especially irritating if they have a different set of morals or beliefs then you. You may be tempted to rebuke those in authority and even break the law. Maybe you had better read our One Truth Today again. ALL AUTHORITY COMES FROM GOD! Everyone must submit to the governing authorities.

Men always think that they are in control of the world, their country and themselves. Flash, you are not! God is in control and He places people in authority, especially those that govern us. Men do not control destiny, your fortune or your life, the Lord does! Yes the one that you despise the most and totally disagree with was placed there by God. It may have been a response to the people and how they turned their back on Him, His Law and His Prophets, but the decision was never the mans. Thank God that we have a Constitution and Bill of Rights and laws that allow free elections and corrections if we conform to God and His Plan. There are consequences when we as a country worship the living God and when we reject and remove Him from our lives.

There is no authority without the permission of God. He sanctions all who are in authority over us. Remember when Julius Caesar, the "emperor and god of Rome", called for a census of all Roman citizens throughout the world? He thought he was god and in control, in fact the Lord was in control and put him in that position so that Mary and Joseph would appear in Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus Christ the Lord God. Who is in control, Caesar of God? Who is in control God or the latest president? Who is in control of your life, you or God? If you are not a believer, it is not God. You have rejected God and you are not one of His chosen. You chose not to be chosen. You think you are in control and authority. Only a fool says in their heart there is no God! You are a fool if you do not know, ALL AUTHORITY COMES FROM GOD!
