THEY HAVE MADE GOD'S LAW THERE OWN!

PSALM 37: 30-31

"The Godly offer good counsel. They teach right from wrong. THEY HAVE MADE GOD'S LAW THEIR OWN, so they will never slip from the path!"

As you walk through this life, do you want to avoid slipping from the path to God? Do you want to teach your children, right from wrong? The wicked lay in wait, ready to devour the righteous. What will keep you safe from harm and protect you against evil? Are you aware that the devil seeks to kill you and destroy you? It is the goal of the unrighteous to get you off the path to the Lord and His righteousness. If you know and understand this then you also know that you will need "good counsel" and "Godly advice", then you will need to be taught right from wrong. If you fail, the One Truth Today tells us that you will slip from the path! Examples abound today!

Godly, righteous people, offer wisdom and speak the Words of Truth and Justice. They are uncompromising in the heart of the Laws of God. As a result they can teach you right from wrong and they do not deviate from the path to God. Remember that the Word tells us not to be lead by a blind person, because the two of you will fall into the ditch. In other words do not take counsel from a non believer, because they do not know how to stay on the path, or in some cases even find it. The Godly offer good counsel because they are better equipped with the knowledge of what the Lord expects from His children. They can teach you the Word and they can teach you right from wrong. The unrighteous never give good counsel because they have never experienced it themselves.

If you get advice from bad people it will be bad advice. If you get Godly advice it will be good advice from the Lord of your life. We all need to seek out wisdom and understanding and when it comes to avoiding problems in your life you need to seek the counsel of the Godly. If you know that bad answers, come from bad people, stop asking them for advice. That is in any form of media or in person. Be careful who you listen to and watch and allow into your confidence.

To know God is the beginning of wisdom, and anything you can do to increase your knowledge of His expectations is going to help you stay on the right path. Instead of slipping and falling and suffering, why not learn right from wrong and avoid the inevitable trauma of bad choices?

What about the people you listen to and go to for advice, can you say THEY HAVE MADE GOD'S LAW THERE OWN!

WHY ARE YOU AFRAID?

MARK 4: 40

"WHY ARE YOU AFRAID? Do you still have no faith?"

Are you one of those Christians that is afraid of everything and all the time? Are you afraid of changes in your life? Do you fear for your physical well being? Are you afraid of what to eat and what not to eat, based on the news of the day? Are you afraid of cancer and dying? Are you afraid to drive your car on the freeway, or fly in a plane? Are you so afraid of dying that you have stopped living? You know who you are, and the One Truth Today is just for you! You need to hear, reflect, and then obtain the faith that is expected of you by the Lord Jesus Christ. Ask yourself this question, why am I so afraid?

There are storms in every ones life. The thing to remember is that the Lord will be there with you every time and in every circumstance. You may stumble but the Lord will never let you fall, He will Save you! Even if you are terminally ill and infirm or sick you have a promise of new and eternal life. You will overcome death, and the grave will have no sting and no victory over you. You will always be alive in Christ Jesus, who holds you by the hand and knows every little detail of your life. Remember that to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord, forever! This is just a temporary life that we are passing through for a little while, but the future is eternal bliss in Heaven. As a Christian you have been born again and you can never die the second and eternal death. If you know that then why would you ever be afraid?

If you have full faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word you do not have to be afraid of anything. If you trust Him to Save you from harm and death then what should you fear? Your outer expressions and words reflect your inner beliefs. Out of the abundance of your heart you mouth will speak. We will all know about your faith by what you say and believe. When you are afraid, you are questioning the Lord and your trust and faith in Him and the Word of God. Look inside yourself and believe the Lord and His promises without hesitation or equivocation. WHY ARE YOU AFRAID? DO YOU STILL HAVE NO FAITH?

LORD,HOLD MY HAND!

PSALM 37: 23-24

"The lord directs the steps of the Godly. He delights in every detail of their life.

Though they stumble, they will never fall, for THE LORD HOLDS THEM BY

THE HAND!"

Do you remember what it was like to walk along, holding on to your father's hand? It made us feel secure to know that our father was right there with us. He would protect us from harm and he would guide us on the right path. We looked up to our father and trusted in his love to keep us from falling or failing. When we were little our father looked so big and strong, because we were so small and weak. Now you have grown up and you are almost as big as your father, but now you need to depend on your Heavenly Father. The One Truth Today is that our Father in Heaven delights in every detail of our life. If you are His child He directs your steps!

Even though we know that we will stumble or fall, we do not have to be afraid. When you need help, cry out, LORD, HOLD MY HAND!

Every believer should rejoice in the knowledge that the Lord directs your steps. I do not want to go anywhere or do anything unless I am in the Lord's will. I never want to wander away from His path for my life. It is so comforting to know that the Lord is guiding and directing me. What is even more wonderful is that the Lord is interested in every little detail of my life!

There has never been and there will never be a father on earth that can compete with our Father in Heaven. He even knows our names! The Lord walks beside us, unless at times He has to carry us. He takes hold of our hand and keeps us from falling. He will always be there when we stumble. Do not ever be afraid to call out the Him, LORD, HOLD MY HAND!

The Lord Jesus Christ promises to never leave us or forsake us, even until the end of the age!

Many of us have lost our earthly fathers and mothers and that can make us sad and lonely at times, but remember this Psalm. Your security level may have diminished when you became separated from you mother or father, but the Lord is more than able to take their place in your heart. Having a full knowledge of the Word can be of great consolation to those who suffer a loss in this lifetime. The Saving Grace and Mercy of Jesus Christ is with you right now, directing your steps and keeping you from falling. We are fallible and He is not. Our earthly life will end but He is eternal and gives us new and eternal life. You can never fail and you will never fall from His Grace. Call out right now; LORD, HOLD MY HAND!

LISTEN CAREFULLY!

MARK 4: 24

"Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given. Those who LISTEN CAREFULLY and

consider my teaching will receive even more."

When it comes to the teaching of the Word and the Lord, do you LISTEN CAREFULLY?

Do you pay close attention and consider the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Lord God? Do you really hear what is being taught by paying close attention? Many have experienced the delight of receiving even more understanding, when they carefully consider the Lord's teachings. When it comes to the Word of God, the measure of your understanding will be in direct proportion to the study and thought that you give to it. The more you LISTEN CAREFULLY, the more truth you obtain. Your knowledge and virtue will increase as your understanding increases. When you consider the teaching of the Lord, pay attention to the messages and you will receive even more than you expected! There is and always will be more for you to receive!

Your study habits are vital and the more time that you spend in the Word, the more understanding you will be given, in direct proportion to how much you LISTEN CAREFULLY!

If you want to increase your knowledge and understanding then increase your time in the Word! Carefully consider each scripture and concept. The more diligent you become the more wisdom you will be given. To whom much has been given, even more will be given. To whom little has been given, even that will be lost or taken away. Your reward will be commensurate with effort and attention. To those that have an ear, let them hear!

What is the Holy Spirit of God telling you about this One Truth Today? Are you paying close attention to what you are hearing? The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given. Those who LISTEN CAREFULLY, and consider the Lord's teachings will receive even more understanding! When you read the Word of God pay close attention and consider its message carefully. The greater the effort, the greater the reward. Be careful to not just go through the motions of reading without understanding. If you have questions, then research the Word of God for more answers. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you and help you to understand the Word. Still the most important thing to do is LISTEN CAREFULLY, to what the Word of God is trying to tell you.

FEAR GOD!

REVELATION 14: 7

"FEAR GOD, the angel shouted, give glory to Him. For the time has come when

He will sit as Judge."

There are a lot of people who do not fear God. They do not believe that God is real or relevant to their lives. They do not believe that they will be judged when they die, for the way that they lived! The term, "dead man walking"comes to the mind of every true believer. It does not matter what they believe, there is only the Truth! If they knew that a time was coming when they would be Judged by the Living God, the one who has the power over life and death, guilt or innocence, and who will determine their final destination, they would FEAR GOD! They would be trembling in their boots, they would be falling on their knees, they would be crying out for mercy and forgiveness. The problem is that the Lord never knew them and they made a choice to reject their only means of Salvation. It is too late no matter how afraid you are!

That is the message of the angel in the One Truth Today. The angel cried out with a mighty voice and the message was for all men. The time has come for the Lord to sit in Judgement and all people need to give glory to Him. All men need to FEAR GOD! Those who have chosen to fear, love and respect God will be saved from the second death and given new and eternal life. At the hour of judgement they will Revere God and give Him Glory and Honor. They will fall before the Lord in Adoration because He is their Saviour. Jesus took our sins and paid the price for our guilt. Even though we deserved eternal death, He saved us with His Mercy! We receive new life in heaven for eternity, to be with Him forever, and forever!

What happens to those who refuse to FEAR GOD! What happens to those who reject the Lord? What happens to those who do not believe there is a God? What happens to those who do not believe there will be a judgement? It is appointed unto man, once to die and then the judgement. It does not matter what you believe, there is only the Truth! Yes, you had the free will to accept or reject the Word of God. Yes you could accept or reject the Lord into your heart and life and ask Him to Save you. Yes you made your own choices and yes there are now consequences to your choices. God is just, He allowed you to determine your eternal location.

You will not be able to argue your way out of this result that was of your own choosing. You will now be allowed to be separated from God for eternity. You did not believe Him and you did not Fear Him and you did not accept Him. If it is not too late, you should FEAR GOD!

RIGHTEOUS IN GOD'S EYES!

LUKE 1: 6

"Zechariah and Elizabeth were RIGHTEOUS IN GOD'S EYES, careful to obey all

of the Lord's commandments and regulations."

All true believer's want to be RIGHTEOUS IN GOD'S EYES. What does it mean to be righteous? How many believer's do you know personally that you could call righteous? Is righteousness a process or does it happen instantly? Our One Truth Today tells us that part of being righteous is to be careful to obey all of the Lord's commandments and regulations, does that describe you? It is clear then, that if we break any of the Lord's commandments and regulations we will not be righteous in God's eyes. Yet we know that "all have come short of the glory of God" and "no one is good, no not one", so how can we reconcile these two competing thoughts? We know that we need a Saviour and Mercy and Forgiveness and that when that time occurs we will be considered RIGHTEOUS IN GOD'S EYES!

It would appear that the Lord applies a standard that applies to those that He calls righteous in His eyes. We find it here in Luke. The Lord is looking for believer's who are obedient to all of His commandments and regulations. He desires those who are faithful and have learned and put into action His Word. The Lord is looking for those who listen, learn and then put into action His path to eternal life. That is the reason He left us His Word and His Holy Spirit.

That is why told us of His Laws and His Prophets and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is His desire for every one of us to walk in His ways and be blameless. The "Good News" is that if we fail there is a plan for our redemption and succeeding righteousness in His eyes!

Those who know the Lord and His Commandments and then obey Him are considered righteous! They are without fault. If they practice righteousness they will be righteous. Every

one who practices righteousness is born of God. Thank God however that there is a plan and a way for all of us who have come short of that target and goal. We have sinned and incurred a debt and yet the Lord Jesus Christ has paid the debt for us and because of Him our sins are forgiven and we are washed clean and whole. We are RIGHTEOUS IN GOD'S EYES, because of the Lord's righteousness. Now that is "good news" and it needs to be told to all sinners!

Pray that this One Truth Today will be heard, learned and understood by those that we love!

THE UNFORGIVABLE SIN!

MARK 3 : 29

"Anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. This is a sin with eternal consequences."

What is the unforgivable sin? What does it mean to blaspheme the Holy Spirit? What are the eternal consequences of the unforgivable sin? These are very important questions that must be asked and answered by every individual, because they have eternal consequences. Each of us have to make individual choices while we are here on earth. It does not matter what any other person does or does not do when it comes to you! The most important choice you will ever have to make is whether or not to believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way you can be Saved from your sin. If you reject Jesus Christ's free gift of mercy and Salvation, then you are also rejecting the Holy Spirit and God. That is a blasphemy that will never be forgiven. It is the unforgivable sin.

Those who reject that Jesus Christ is the Lord God, also speak abusively against His Authority and also reject His Holy Spirit. They never invite the Lord into their heart and they never receive the Holy Spirit as a promise of their Salvation. That act of rejection is a blaspheme

against the Holy Spirit, and the Lord God. Without the Lord and His Spirit there is no redemption, Salvation, or forgiveness of sin. If your sins are never forgiven, you will not be saved and you will be separated from the Lord for eternity. The consequences of that is that you will not enter heaven and the place of peace and rest, forever. Instead you will be condemned to damnation and darkness instead of light, forever. That eternal consequence was the just result of your rejection of the Lord and was a choice that you made on your own. Your choice and your eternal consequence.

Your rejection and blaspheme of the Holy Spirit, means that you never repented of your sins and the wages of sin are death. You will receive the second death that is eternal and you will not receive new life and forgiveness of your sins. A rejection of God is the non acceptance of His deity and that is a blaspheme of His Holy Spirit. Your separation from God will never end. That is what is meant by damnation and eternal death. That is why you are told that you are dead in your sin. This rejection is the unforgivable sin. If you do not repent and ask the Lord for forgiveness and His mercy, you will never be Saved and the consequences are eternal for you!
