RICHES - HONOR - LONG LIFE!

PROVERBS 22: 4

"True humility and the Fear of the Lord lead to RICHES, HONOR, A LONG LIFE".

RICHES, HONOR AND A LONG LIFE, how does that sound to you? Our One Truth Today has the formula for obtaining this goal. The answer to the question, what am I doing here on earth, is known and obvious to believer's. We are here on earth to come to Know, Love and Fear God and then to worship Him until the end of our life here. Not only is the Fear of the Lord the beginning of wisdom, it is a prerequisite to RICHES, HONOR, AND A LONG LIFE. In fact it is required if you seek eternal life. You have to humble yourself and acknowledge that God is your creator and your Savior. You know that compared to God you are meek and humble. True humility and the Fear of the Lord allows Him to bless you in full measure. Those who become rich or receive honors in the fullness of life, that do not have true humility and a Fear of the Lord will lose them all. True riches will only be found as you put up treasures in heaven.

Everything we have is a gift of God. Have you received honors from your family, friends, or co-workers? Have you become independently wealthy and accumulated riches? Are you now in the fullness of your life? Now comes the real test, to remain truly humble and acknowledge that, "the Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord". If you Know, Love and Fear God you will be rewarded, and not for just a moment on earth. We are the children of God and He loves to give us more than we deserve when we worship Him, only!

Our time here on earth is so short and in the end we accumulate nothing. We arrive with nothing and we leave with nothing. Our hearts and minds should be on the heavenly things and not the earthly things. The Lord blesses those that He loves and like a good Father he likes to spoil us with the desires of our hearts. Your white hair, honors and riches are a blessing from God and you need to always be thankful for them. As we grow older we can offer wise and Godly counsel to others. Help others find the path to God. The longer your life the more the opportunities to share the Gospel with others. If you want RICHES, HONOR, AND A LONG LIFE while you are on earth, FEAR THE LORD AND HAVE TRUE HUMILITY!

RICHES - HONOR - LONG LIFE!

THAT PERSON IS CURSED!

1 CORINTHIANS 16: 22

"IF ANYONE DOES NOT LOVE THE LORD, THAT PERSON IS CURSED.

COME LORD JESUS!"

If you think the movie about the "Curse of the Mummy" was scary then you need to understand our One Truth Today. Movies are fictional and not real. This is from the Word of God and tells the truth! This is a warning about something as important to every living individual as their life or death, for eternity! Anyone who does not Know and Love the Lord Jesus Christ, and have not accepted Him as their Saviour, have a curse upon them that leads to eternal damnation. Yes there is only one way or path to life and that is when you ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your life and Save you. You have a choice and there will be consequences. This admonition from God is not "just a movie". Any ones rejection of God and His Son Jesus Christ is really blaspheming or cursing God. The are inviting eternal separation from the only one who can save them.

IF ANYONE DOES NOT LOVE THE LORD, THAT PERSON IS CURSED! You have placed your self under that curse, not God. Your own action or inaction will be responsible for what happens to you. The evil result and eternal death are of your own choosing. You have chosen to separate yourself from the Lord and He will separate Himself from you eternally! All that you need to do is call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that He will Save you. Maranatha is a prayer that means, COME LORD JESUS! If you want to remove the curse, then make that prayer today and mean it with your whole heart!

The Lord has chosen all of us and now it is up to you to choose Him. If you yearn for eternal life and the perfection of Heaven you need to Love the Lord! If you are under the curse, ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes, ears and heart and learn the "Good News", that Jesus Saves!

The real meaning of the curse will become known to you. If you curse God, you will be cursed.

At the final judgement when all of your thoughts, actions and choices are revealed you will see the perfect justice of God. Your choices lead to your consequences. If you do not have the Saving Grace of the Lord, who will pay your penalty and take you as His own, you will be separated forever from the Lord. Now that is a real curse and one you should fear as deadly!

STAND FIRM IN THE FAITH!

1 CORINTHIANS 16: 13-14

"Be on guard. STAND FIRM IN THE FAITH. Be courageous. Be Strong. Do everything with Love."

Our One Truth Today is for those Christian believer's who came to the Lord some time ago! It is an admonition from God about what He expects from us. We have been set apart from the world and we are a Child of God. These are some of the attributes and traits of some one who Loves God and lives according to His Word! BE ON GUARD, always aware of the sinful world we are in for a time. While we are passing through we need to be vigilant and on guard against the enemy, who has the sole purpose to destroy us! We are surrounded by evil and wickedness and we must never give in to it or become a part of it. STAND FIRM IN THE FAITH. We need to be in the Word of God continually and pray to the Lord for His Holy Spirit to fill our lives!

The Bible is our manual for life and we must learn it and how to use it every day. BE COURAGEOUS. If you belong to God and He is your protector, what do you have to fear? What can anyone do to our body now that we have been reborn? We have nothing to Fear but God! That fear was the beginning of our wisdom.

BE STRONG! When you are yoked to the Lord there is no limit to your strength. It is the strength of God that will carry us through this pilgrimage on earth and give us eternal life!

There is nothing too hard for the Lord! By the Power of His Spirit we will overcome. Your courage can be complete when you Know, Love and Fear the Lord. All of this will be incomplete if we fail to invoke the final admonition. DO EVERYTHING WITH LOVE! God's Love will never change and He wants us to be more and more like Him every day and in every way. It should be a natural part of our nature to exhibit Love. When others inspect our lives they need to see the Love of God in everything that we do.

All Good Advice comes from the source of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, the Lord!

See the Lord first in everything that you do. Act like men and women of God and be more like our Lord every day. Be on guard when it comes to the world around you. Stand firm in the faith and never waiver or change, hold out until the very end! Be Courageous because the Lord is part of your team and He never loses and He has no fear! Be Strong in your commitment to God. Stand firm in your faith and belief in the Word of God. In the end, if you are like your Lord you will be able to do everything with Love. Emulate your Heavenly Father who loved you first and gave His blood to Save you. Love one another as the Lord loves you!

WEALTH DISAPPEARS!

PROVERBS 23: 4-5

"Do not wear yourself out trying to be rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit. In the blink of an eye WEALTH DISAPPEARS, for it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle."

Do you want to be rich? How much money would be enough for you? What price are you willing to pay to become rich? Rich people may have to sacrifice something to obtain wealth. It could be their family, their health or their morality. Covetousness, or the desire to have what others possess is a sin and that can definitely affect your spiritual life. This is a desire that does not please God. What will it profit you if you gain the whole world and in the process you lose your eternal soul? What are you willing to try to be rich? Are you wise enough to know when to quit? Do you understand that you must seek the Lord first and keep Him first in your life, and then everything will be added unto you?

Once you become rich, what are you willing to do to keep it? Will you be greedy and covetous of what others have that is more than you? The One Truth Today is meant to warn and inform you that wealth, like fame, is fleeting. Your entire fortune can disappear in the twinkling of an eye. Ask those who had 401K's recently, meant for their retirement. Ask those who have lost their jobs and there homes during this recession. The believer's attitude is that the Lord is my Shephard and I have all that I need. During our short time here on earth we can waste time trying to accumulate wealth that will be given to others, or we can build up treasures in Heaven

instead. We never really own anything here on earth, it all belongs to God. We came in with nothing and we will leave the same way, WEALTH DISAPPEARS!

God is trying to warn you not to wear yourself out trying to become rich, it is an illusion. God wants to give you the wisdom to know when to quit trying to be rich. Accumulating wealth at the expense of our quality of life is a false promise, not of the Lord. The Lord will supply all of the needs of His children. The promise is that we will have all that we need if we belong to God, because WEALTH DISAPPEARS. Your accumulated wealth can sprout wings like an eagle and fly away, never to be seen again. Job as a believer had the right attitude; "the Lord gives, and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord"! If you have God you have everything that you will ever need, here on earth and for eternity.

THEY TEACH RIGHT FROM WRONG!

PSALM 37: 30-31

"The Godly offer good counsel; THEY TEACH RIGHT FROM WRONG. The have God's law as their own, so they will never slip from the path!"

If you want to succeed in any plan or venture you should see good counsel from many Godly people. The Godly offer good counsel because they know right from wrong and they can help you from slipping from the path. Kings always sought counsel before going to war. Wealthy men make it a habit to get good advice from many others and not rely on themselves alone.

Before building a house a good plan from architects and builders is required. If you plan for a home you also need a plan for your life. The One Truth Today points us in the right direction.

The Godly offer good advice and counsel because THEY TEACH RIGHT FROM WRONG! You need someone that has God's laws as their own and that avoids slipping from the Lord's path.

Before making any life changing decisions you need to seek many Godly counselors!

Believer's know that we must seek God first in everything that we do. Seek first the kingdom of God and then everything will be added unto you! Our One Truth Today adds to this admonition that we need to seek many Godly counselors. They know right from wrong and they will keep us on the right path and prevent our slipping. They have studied the Word of God and they prove it by the way that they live and the fruit they produce. Those that do not believe in God do not have the beginning of wisdom and they do not know right from wrong!

Why would anyone want advice from someone who does not Know, Love, or Fear God? It will be like the blind leading the blind and they will both slip from the path of righteousness and fall in the ditch! Seek Godly counselors, THEY TEACH RIGHT FROM WRONG!

Be careful who you let teach you or give you counsel. A good example is an agnostic or atheist professor at a liberal university. They are dead and they do not even know it! No God means they have no life! They are fools and do not have even the beginning of wisdom. They do not know right from wrong and believe there are no absolutes. Tell them they will absolutely die and the ratio is one death to every birth. God will absolutely judge them and their fate is the result of their choices. A parrot can learn by rote but that is not wisdom or good counsel! They are lost and can not help you find the right path. Find Godly counselors, THEY KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG!

BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD CHARACTER!

1 CORINTHIANS 15: 33

'BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD CHARACTER. Think carefully about what is right and stop sinning! To your shame I say that some of you do not know God at all."

Did your parents tell you not to hang around some one they were concerned about? Your parents discernment was better than yours as a teenager. If you look back they were almost always right about their concern. Who do you hang around with now? Even if you love the Lord and have a good character it can be corrupted by bad company! Have you chosen companions and friends who have good moral character and avoid sinning? Do they Love the Lord Jesus Christ? Birds of a feather flock together we are told. The One Truth Today is very simple. Do not be mislead or deceived, if your companions and friends are evil and immoral

they will influence you. You will be known by the company you keep. BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD CHARACTER!

If your friends are sinning all of the time it will influence you and lead you to sin also. Those that abuse alcohol, drugs, sex or other forms of sinning will abuse you also. If you run with those that have no manners, curse regularly, and walk a path away from God, you will find yourself on that same path. We tend to emulate our friends and that is why it is so important to avoid bad company. Your will not find Godly people in bars or pornographic theaters. It also keeps you from the gathering together of the elect, when you go with people of bad character. Good company builds Good Character. BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD CHARACTER.

To your real shame, if you are corrupted by bad company, some of you do not know God at all!

This is a strong statement but the Truth must be stated and if it hurts then there may be some truth to it. Wake up and come to your senses. Learn and then act out the Word of God. Get your mind on God and His Word. Pray for righteousness and stop sinning. Ask the Lord to forgive you of your sins and then truly repent by turning away from the path you were on and walk straight to the Lord. We all make choices one at a time and you will be responsible for those choices. Your choices lead to your consequences. Bad choices lead to bad consequences.

BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD CHARACTER. Avoid bad company, seek the Lord!

WHAT WAS MOST IMPORTANT?

1 CORINTHIANS 15: 34

"I passed on to you WHAT WAS MOST IMPORTANT, and also what was passed on to me. Christ died for our sins! Christ was buried. Christ was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the scriptures said!"

WHAT WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT thing any man has ever heard? What is the Gospel of Jesus Christ? What Good News is it that can save us all from death and give us new and eternal life? What is the most important message that you could ever hear and understand? Our One Truth Today tells us that, just as the scriptures told, Jesus Christ died for our sins! Christ was buried and Christ was raised from the dead on the third day! Jesus Christ is Alive and because of His shed blood we can be Saved and forgiven of our sins. Paul knew that this is WHAT WAS MOST IMPORTANT! If you believe this and confess with your tongue and open your heart to the Lord you will be Saved. Can you think of anything more important to you than that?

Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One of God, died on the cross for our sins just as the scriptures had foretold. He was buried in a tomb, but on the third day He Rose and conquered death, for all of us who believe. Jesus Christ took all of our sins upon Himself even though He was without sin. His shed blood is what cleanses us and gives us new and eternal life. The grave no longer has a victory over us and there is no sting to death for those that belong to the Lord. Jesus Christ was seen by His family, His Apostles, and over 500 others in His resurrected body. This message has been passed on throughout the ages by many and now it is our turn to pass on WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT!

Death came into the world through one man, Adam. Resurrection and Eternal Life have been made available to all men who believe in the one man, Jesus Christ. If you remain like Adam you will end like all sinners and carnal men. If you believe in Jesus Christ and are born again you will not die, but you will be reborn into the eternal Kingdom of God. Christ was the first to rise from the dead so that we could be Saved and Forgiven of our sins and given new life. The Lord is coming back for all that belong to Him and they will spend eternity in heaven with the Lord! WHAT WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT message you ever heard and then believed?
