THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHING!

ISAIAH 42: 5

"The Lord God created the heavens and stretched them out. THE LORD CREATED THE EARTH AND EVERYTHING IN IT!"

Once you recognize and believe this One Truth Today, you will have achieved wisdom and eternal life. Who do you believe created the heavens and the earth? Do you think man or a collection of men could have created everything? Do you believe that some atheistic professors at some liberal university could do it? Absolutely not, now there is an absolute! Do you think that Buddha, Mohamed or Confucius created the universe? They never claimed to do this. In the collective knowledge of man has anyone else, but the Lord God, ever professed to be the creator of the Universe? Only the Lord God and His Word have the answer to the question, who is, THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHING!

Why would anyone believe the "Big Bang theory", when it does not explain where the matter of the universe came from, to explode. They refuse to believe God created the earth and everything in it, but they will believe a theory that is as full of holes as the universe itself. How many other scientific theories and explanations have fallen into disrepute as they are proved to be wrong? The Word of God is never wrong and will never be found to be untrue. The reason that man wants to reject the Lord God is quite simple. If they can disprove that there is a God then they can refuse to acknowledge His existence. If the Lord exists then we are obligated to listen and adhere to His Word. If He gave us life and breath, we should worship Him. We should follow His commandments and laws. By denying God man can be his own god and do what he wants, no matter how immoral or deviant the behavior may be.

When you come to know the Truth and believe in the Lord God, you will have the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. What a contrast to non believer's who never have a satisfactory explanation of "how we got here" and "what is our purpose for living". That is why non believer's have an empty feeling in their life, and they will never be filled or satisfied. You will never have peace, until you know the truth, that will set you free! There is no other logical or reasonable explanation but that THE LORD CREATED THE EARTH AND EVERYTHING IN IT! You have a choice to accept or reject the truth. The consequence is eternal life or damnation.

WISDOM CALLED YOU SO OFTEN!

PROVERBS 1: 24

"I, WISDOM CALLED YOU SO OFTEN, but you would not come. I reached out to you, but you paid no attention. You ignored my advice and rejected my corrections!"

To all non believer's, ARE YOU LISTENING, to the One Truth Today. Are you still refusing to come to the knowledge that Jesus Christ is the Lord God? Are you ignoring and rejecting the Truth of God? When you look back at the decisions of your life, have they been wise? Did you let your immediate satisfaction overrule a wiser decision based on the principals of the Lord? If your motto is, "what about me, what about my needs", you fall into that category of people that are not wise and in fact are foolish! You will make the worst possible decisions, unless you put the Lord first in your life. Wisdom is calling to you right now, as it has so often, are you still going to refuse to come. Are you going to ignore the advice of the Word and reject the God who made you?

The beginning of wisdom is the "Fear of the Lord". To know, love and fear God is a prerequisite to all wisdom! The Word tells us to get many counselors before we make any big and life changing decisions. The question is who can give you wise counsel? That would be found in the Word of God and among His people. Choose those who have shown in the past that they are doing the right thing and are being led by God. If you have received bad advice in the past from someone, there would be no logical reason to return for more bad advice. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result!

WISDOM CALLED YOU SO OFTEN, are you listening, can you hear the call?

The best source for wisdom know to man is the Bible. It is the Truth and the Word of God that is a manual for a life of wisdom. It tells us to put God first in everything we do. God fearing people have discernment and are capable of giving you good and wise counsel. Have you ignored and failed to learn after making bad decisions in the past? Are you suffering today because you made the wrong choices and decisions for your life? It is time that you made the Lord the center of your life, instead of yourself. Fear the Lord. Love the Lord. Know the Lord. You really have no excuse, because, WISDOM CALLED YOU SO OFTEN!

YOU CAN NOT MOCK GOD!

GALATIANS 6: 7

"Do not be misled, YOU CAN NOT MOCK GOD or His Justice. You will harvest what you plant."

The Word tells us that you will reap what you sew! Our One Truth Today confirms this by telling us we will harvest what we plant. This law of God is not ambiguous or obscure, it should be understood by everyone, but particularly Christians. The best way to understand this concept is to picture yourself as a farmer. The words that you spit out of your mouth are like seeds that will grow and bring forth a crop. You will have to exist and survive on the harvest of your own mouth and heart. In essence we will harvest in our lives the seeds that we sew from our heart, mind and mouth. Do not be misled, YOU CAN NOT MOCK GOD, or His Justice. You will harvest what you plant! How is your crop, how is your harvest, right now, today?

You can see the perfect justice of God in this One Truth Today. You plant, you harvest. You sew and then you reap. Your choices, your consequences. You can not blame God or call Him unjust if you have a bad crop and are starving because of your choices. Earlier in verse 5 we see that each of us is responsible for our own choice of thoughts, actions, words and conduct. We are each our own farmer and we are responsible for our crops at harvest time. Will the crop be good, or bad. Will we harvest weeds and tares or a bounty of love and joy? You will live tomorrow on the crop that you plant today and you will reap what you sew! If you say one thing and mean another or try to trick the Lord, you will find, YOU CAN NOT MOCK GOD!

So many people are misled into believing that there are no consequences to their Words or actions. If you make poor choices, you will have poor results. Try not to be misled by the world or men who try to convince you that you can violate the Laws of God and everything will be all right. God's justice is perfect because you and the choices of your will determine your fate! If you spit out bad seeds on a continual basis you can expect a bad crop to live on in your life. It should not be a puzzle to you if there are too many weeds and tares in your life. You plant the seeds, you grow the crop, you live on the harvest. Do not blame God and His justice for your being a bad farmer. Be careful what you say and think, YOU CAN NOT MOCK GOD!

THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME!

ISAIAH 29: 13

"These people say they are mine, they honor me with their lips, but, THEIR HEARTS ARE FAR FROM ME!"

Many people claim to be Christians and followers of Jesus Christ the Lord God. It is reported that 70% of the people in the United States say they are Christians. If seven out of ten people in America could be counted as true believer's and followers of the Lord then this would be a different country. Imagine if it was true that Christians not only heard the Word of God but they then became doers of the Word! This would be a different place to live. So it is apparent that there is a discrepancy between what people say with their lips and what they believe in their hearts. Our present world is no different than in the days of Isaiah. It is not sufficient to say you are the Lord's. It is not enough to honor the Lord with your lips. One Truth Today asks what is in your Heart?

Do you call yourself a Christian? Do you honor Jesus Christ the Lord God with your lips, words, choices, and actions? Do you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the Lord of your life. Would your family, friends and associates all conclude that you are a true believer or would they conclude that your heart is far from Him? Does your life style and your actions prove that you know, fear and love God? Do you love your neighbors as yourself? Do you know and live the Word of God? Would others attest to the fact that you are a Christian? Some people say they are the Lord's, they honor Him with their lips, but THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM HIM!

Each day of our lives we are to become more like Christ. Do you put the Lord first in everything that you do? Do your actions and your fruit prove that you Love the Lord and live according to His Word? It is not enough to say you are a believer, you must be a doer of the Word. Out of the abundance of your heart, the blessings of the Lord should pour forth. Out of the abundance of your heart, your mouth will speak! What do your words reflect about your heart? Are you true and faithful to the Lord every day? Your words and actions will show everyone where you really are. Do not let God say about you, THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME!

A THORN IN MY FLESH!

2 CORINTHIANS 12: 7

"So to keep me from being proud, I was given A THORN IN MY FLESH!"

What does it mean to have a thorn in the flesh? Are you sight or hearing impaired? Do you have a disability of one form or another that you have to live with? Is your fleshly body less than perfect? You need to hear and understand our One Truth Today. What the world may perceive as a weakness, may be something to keep you from being too proud! What sinful man may consider a curse, may be in fact a blessing from God. Even though a prayer was given three times to take away a thorn in the flesh, the Lord's response was; "my grace is sufficient unto you". The Lord tells us that "My power works in weakness". What man may perceive as weakness or a thorn in the flesh is the Lord's way of keeping us humble, instead of being proud!

Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice. If you have A THORN IN MY FLESH, you are admonished to still rejoice in the Lord. Always does not mean some times, or when it is convenient or pleasing. The Lord would want you to boast about your weakness so that you can demonstrate the power of Jesus Christ working through you! When you are seen as weak in the flesh and humble, then you are all the more strengthened by the power of the Lord in the eyes of man. With God in your life you should be looking forward to your eternal perfection in Heaven, even more than the perfect and proud among us. Be an example of the Lord's Power!

By overcoming the thorn in your flesh, you are sending a strong message to others about the power and strength of the children of God. Even though the world will see bad things happening to you and others, they will see demonstrated humility and strength through the overcoming spirit of your faith and belief. God's grace is all you really need to achieve eternal life and the perfection of your spirit and heavenly body. A THORN IN MY FLESH, is but a temporary obstacle that keeps you from being proud, so that you will appreciate that God's Grace is sufficient unto you, until you arrive in your final heavenly destination. You may have to accept less than perfection on your pilgrimage, but in your final destination a perfect eternal life awaits us all. If you received this message then you will be able to thank and praise the Lord for A THORN IN MY FLESH!

THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT!

GALATIANS 5: 22

"The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self control."

What a lovely representation of the Christian life. Does this describe your life? Would your family and close friends and associates describe you as having the fruit of the Holy Spirit? The sinful nature of man produces quite another kind of fruit. If you do not have the Holy Spirit in your heart, leading and dwelling with you then there will be a constant struggle and fight for the control of your life. It will be easy to see where you stand. We just have to examine the fruit of your life and your spirit. If you have a life of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and gentle self control, then you have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and leading of God in your life. If instead you have hatred, despair, agitation, impatience, and little if any self control then you need to digest the One Truth Today!

Those who truly belong to Jesus Christ and live through His Spirit, control their passions and desires and their sinful nature. Spirit filled Christians avoid sexual immorality, hostility, lustful natures, quarreling, jealousy, anger, self ambition, and dissension. They are not interested in wild drunken parties that lead to their destruction. It is therefore very easy and simple to determine if you are being lead by the Holy Spirit. You can tell by the fruit of the Spirit. You can tell a tree by its fruit and you can tell a person in the same way. What kind of fruit is being seen in your life?

Our relationship with the Lord will be seen in a direct proportion to the resulting fruit in our lives. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit you will have love, joy, peace, kindness and self control. You will be gentle and faithful and full of patience. Take a good look at yourself and determine if you have the right relationship with Jesus Christ. You can not fool others or even yourself and it is certain that you are not going to fool God. Anyone living in sin will not inherit the kingdom of God and they will not enjoy the fruits of the Spirit while here on earth. Galatians 5: 21. If we repent of our transgressions the Lord is faithful to forgive us and fill us with His Holy Spirit, it is then that you can realize, THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT!
