PUBLIC CONFESSION!

MATTHEW 10: 32-33

"Everyone who acknowledges me PUBLICLY here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in Heaven. Everyone who denies me here on earth, I will deny before my Father in Heaven!"

Our One Truth Today is a powerful message that should be heard and understood by everyone!

The Lord is making clear what He expects of all His believer's, to make a PUBLIC CONFESSION! That is why evangelists and preachers ask people to come forward and accept and make a public confession to Jesus Christ the Lord God. If you open your heart and confess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is the Lord God of your life you will be Saved. You are acknowledging the Lord publicly here on earth and He will acknowledge you before the Father in Heaven. If you reject the Lord and never acknowledge Him here on earth, the consequence of your choice will be that He will deny you before the Father in Heaven.

There are people called "pocket Christians", they have secretly accepted Jesus into their lives but they have never confessed it publicly. They do not meet with other Christians and they do not attend a church. There is no outward appearance that would indicate that they belong to the Lord. If you love the Lord it should be difficult, if not impossible to avoid continually praising His name. There should be no hesitation to confess His name and your dependence on Him. After all, He is the Lord of your life. A PUBLIC CONFESSION is important for everyone.

We are all responsible for our choices while here on earth. We can reject and deny that Jesus Christ is the Lord God but we will suffer the consequence. Separation from God eternally is a high price to pay for the wrong choice. At the time of your death and the judgement the only one who can Save you will deny you before the Father in Heaven. That is the perfect justice of the Lord. You make the choice of your own free will and must accept that you alone are responsible for the consequences. If you accept and acknowledge Jesus Christ here on earth and make a public confession He will do the same for you when you are judged. If you belong to the Lord on earth you will belong to Him in Heaven. It is the Lord's will for everyone to be Saved and given the gift of eternal life. God has a heart to make everyone His Chosen. You are the one with the free will and the choice to accept or reject His Salvation. Yes He knows who will make the right choice, as the Lord is Omnipotent. Make your PUBLIC CONFESSION and be Saved!

WHERE YOU ARE!

MATTHEW 8: 8

"Lord, just say the Word from WHERE YOU ARE, and my servant will be healed!"

Where do you have to be to have your prayer heard? Do you have to be in a church? Do you have to be right there with the person you are praying for? Will your prayers be answered even if the objects of your prayers are far away? Do you need candles and a rosary? The One Truth Today teaches us that the Faith of the person praying, and being in concert with the will of the Lord is all that is needed for a prayer to be answered. The Lord hears our prayers no matter where we are and no matter what the condition we find ourselves in. Some of the most earnest prayers are made in a foxhole while the bombs are falling. The Lord told the Roman officer that his prayer, as seen above, and for a servant a long way off, was greater than those He had seen in all Israel. It does not matter WHERE YOU ARE!

Many people believe they can only pray in a church, or on there knees, or with a head covering, or with their prayer beads in their hands. Some believe that you must have your eyes closed and you head bowed. Some believe that you need an intercessor for you prayers to be answered. All you really need is faith and to be in the will of God. It does not take more than one person for a prayer to be heard and answered. However, the Lord told us that wherever two or three believer's are gathered together in His name, He will be there with them and hear their prayers. You can try to place as many conditions on praying to the Lord as you like, but,

He hears every prayer of every person and He will answer all of them that are in His will! You can pray WHERE YOU ARE!

Jesus wants us to know that He is Omniscient and hears all of our prayers, wherever and whenever we make them. The Lord can answer our prayers immediately or He can delay the answer. Even if He does not heal you right now, remember that in Heaven you will be whole and in complete health. Your faith is important to the answer that you receive, and when you receive it. God has a plan for you that is better than any you could conceive. Even if we do not understand the answer, or lack of one, God always has our best interest at heart. The important thing is to pray without ceasing and about everything that matters to you. It does not matter WHERE YOU ARE!

ANYONE WHO LISTENS!

MATTHEW 7: 24

"ANYONE WHO LISTENS to my teaching, and follows me, is a wise person who builds his house on a solid rock."

When the storms of life come, and they always do, is your house built on a "solid Rock"? Do you consider yourself a "wise" person? If not then perhaps you should listen to the One Truth Today! Jesus Christ, the Lord God, is letting you know that ANYONE WHO LISTENS to His teaching and then follows Him. is a "wise person". The Lord is the solid rock that we need to build our life and our house on, if we want them to stand! If you do not listen, then your house and your life will not stand. We need the right foundation built with plans that are wise to withstand the perils of this life. If your house or your life is built on sand, with a weak foundation and plans that do not include the beginning of wisdom, it will not stand. You need a strong tower to run into when the critical moments in your life come!

The solid teaching of the Lord is the "rock", to build your life on. After you have heard this message it is vital to take the next step. You have to be a doer of the Word and not just a hearer. ANYONE WHO LISTENS to my teaching, and follows me, is a wise person who builds his house on a solid rock. Not everyone who hears the Word of God, listens and learns. That is why not everyone enters the kingdom of heaven. Those who listen and do the will of the Lord will enter the kingdom of Heaven. Like a parent talking to his child, can you just hear the Lord saying to each of us, ARE YOU LISTENING?

We are all children, of God. We all must learn to listen and learn and then respond to the teachings of the Lord. It is never enough to just hear a parent speak, we must respond in a positive way. We need to assimilate as much of the Word of God as we possibly can. The more we know the wiser we will become. Theory is one thing but action is the thing that is needed.

If you want a proper life and a proper house then you need a solid rock foundation to base them on. Are you following the teachings of Jesus Christ the Lord God? If not, then you are not listening and you will never be wise. Your house and life will collapse around you.

PRAISE TO THE LORD!

PSALM 148: 5

"Let every created thing give PRAISE TO THE LORD. God issued His command and they came into being."

God created everything in the Universe. That includes the heavens, stars, moon and earth, and all living things, including man. God's handiwork is how you can identify His nature. That is why in this One Truth Today we learn that every created thing gives PRAISE TO THE LORD! What and who should give praise to the Lord? Believer's are not the only ones who should give praise to the Lord. In reality everything that God created should give PRAISE TO THE LORD! Inanimate objects and all creatures when seen for their beauty give the Lord praise. They demonstrate their praise without saying a word! The splendor and glory of the heavens speak volumes about and give praise to the Lord. As humans we are things created by God and this scripture tells us about His command and our duty to give PRAISE TO THE LORD!

We may not always be aware that we are not the only things that give praise to the Lord. The Psalms tell us that the Glory of the Lord is revealed in the skies and the heavens that God created. The Angels and heavenly hosts act as the choir to PRAISE THE LORD! Our earth with its rain, lightning, clouds and thunder give praise to the Lord. Because the Lord issued His command and set all things in place, the entire universe will give PRAISE TO THE LORD! Praise emanates from the ocean and the earth and all of its creatures. Men and women of all the ages have learned to praise the Lord. Rulers and kings of the earth have learned to praise the Lord. In short, with the exception of the non believer's throughout the ages, all men have a common response to God and that is to PRAISE THE LORD!

If you have chosen not to PRAISE THE LORD, then you have purposely separated yourself from the creator of the Universe and yourself. Be prepared to hear the words, "depart from me for I never knew you", at the time of judgement. Your choice and your consequence. Believer's have lifted up the Lord and given Him the worship and praise that He deserves. We understand that He alone is the source of our prosperity and life itself. It is the Lord who puts a song in our hearts and gives peace to our soul. That is why those of us who know Him exalt His name forever. He deserves all the glory and honor and it is our desire to thank and worship Him. It is a natural response to God's love for us, to love Him. What is the Lord's desire? That every created thing give PRAISE TO THE LORD!

DO NOT JUDGE OTHERS!

MATTHEW 7: 1-2

"DO NOT JUDGE OTHERS, and you will not be judged. You will be treated as you treat others. The standard that you use for judging is the standard by which you will be judged."

No one reading this One Truth Today has the right to pick up a stone and cast it at another sinner! No one is good, no not one! Do not judge others harshly. The standard that you use to judge others is the one that will be used on yourself. If we are to be reasonable and emulate the Mercy of the Lord we have no alternative, when it come to others, then to avoid judging them at all. DO NOT JUDGE OTHERS, and you will not be judged. Why is it that we expect so much from others and so little from ourselves. The standard that you use for judging others is the standard by which you will be judged, oops! Judge not, lest you be judged!

Many times people criticize or condemn others for the way they look, or the country they come from. They are judging individuals without knowing any specific knowledge of the person. They are using bias and prejudice to make a conclusion that may be false and totally wrong. Many tend to prejudge entire categories of people and expose their ignorance and lack of reason. What if we were to reverse the process. How should others judge you? Do you want them to judge you by your sex, race, religion or appearance? Every person is an individual who makes individual choices and they can not be lumped together as though all people are the same. Get to know people individually, DO NOT JUDGE OTHERS!

All black people are not the same. All Republicans are not the same. All Muslims are not the same! We have to be careful how we judge them or criticize them and especially if we condemn them. The standard that we use will be used against us. Better yet avoid judgements at all. We need to treat everyone as an individual. Treat every neighbor or fellow man the same as you want them to treat you. If you do not want bias and prejudice used against you then you can not use them against others. DO NOT JUDGE OTHERS! Judge not least you be judged is the lesson from the scripture today, have you learned it and have you put it into use in your life? Remember God is the Judge, we are not!

THE ESSENCE OF THE LAW!

MATTHEW 7: 12

"Do unto others whatever you would like them to do to you! This is THE ESSENCE OF THE LAW as it is taught in the Word and by the Prophets."

You would think that everyone would agree with this One Truth Today. Unfortunately in the real world it is far from reality. If we lived by THE ESSENCE OF THE LAW, there would be no wars, no murders, no adultery, no stealing, etc.. In fact there is too often a disrespect of God and man, manifested by sins against others and immorality gone rampant. The question should be how would you like to be treated, and is that the way you treat others? Do you want love and affection and a caring attitude from your family, friends and others? How do you treat your family, friends and others? Do you want fairness, justice and mercy? Do you have a forgiving spirit that is fair and just? When you sin and miss the mark do you long for mercy and forgiveness? Do you forgive others when they sin against you and are you merciful? DO UNTO OTHERS WHATEVER YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO DO TO YOU!

We are very fortunate that we do not get what we deserve. What if God was not merciful and forgiving? No one of us is good, no not even one of us, and so we all come short of THE ESSENCE OF THE LAW. We are sinful by nature we miss the mark or target set by the Word of God. That does not in any way diminish what the Lord has established as the way we should behave and act. We do good for our children and we treat our family and friends in the way God intended, most of the time. We may even do for our children what we would not do for ourselves. What about the rest of the world? Do you do unto those others what you would like done to you? Do you treat them as a part of the family? If you learn instead of just listen to the Word of God and the Prophets you will have assimilated the essence of all that is taught!

Because we Love and Believe the Lord and His Word, we should try and emulate Him. God is Love and we should learn to love one another. That is what God wants from us. His Word and the prophets teach unconditional love and that is what is expected of His believer's. Thank the Lord that His love is unfailing and unconditional. His Mercy is the final expression of His Love. The message is quite clear, if God can love and forgive us, then we must love and forgive others. Love your neighbor as yourself. Your neighbor includes everyone in the world, not just those next door. Treat others as God is treating you. DO UNTO OTHERS WHATEVER YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO DO TO YOU. This is THE ESSENCE OF THE LAW!

FIRST THING FIRST!

MATTHEW 6: 33

"Seek FIRST the kingdom of God, above all else. Live righteously, then God will give you everything that you need!"

Keep the first thing first is one of the popular sayings of today. Nothing has changed for thousands of years. The One Truth Today is as important in your life as it has ever been. If you want everything that you need, then live righteously. Above everything else in your life, first seek the Kingdom of God. In this hectic and complex world it is easy to have our attention drawn in many different directions. You can be distracted and confused as to what are your priorities. You may have difficulty focusing on what is the most important thing in your whole life. More important than spouse, family, friends, country, occupation, sports activities, more important than anything. FIRST THING FIRST, SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

What is the most important thing in your life? What is your number one priority? What do you think of first when a problem or situation arises in your life? What is always the right thing to do first? What is the key to a good life here on earth, one of peace and hope? What is the only way you can have life and that eternal. The answer is the same to all the questions.

Seek first the Kingdom of God, above all else. Live righteously, then God will give you everything that you need! FIRST THINGS FIRST!

We make choices every day and we are the only one responsible for those choices. You can choose to accept the Lord in your life and obey His Word, or you can reject the Lord and serve yourself or another God. Only you can bend your knee and confess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is the Lord God of your life. If you do, then only you can choose to put Him first in everything that you do. You will go to the Lord with every problem and every question you may have. As a child of God you will obey His Word and His commandments and you will become righteous. You will focus on the Word of God, the Prophets and Laws of God. The natural consequence of your choices and actions will be obedience and righteousness. The natural consequences of these actions will be that the Lord will give you everything that you need! Your job is to keep your life in the right order. Always keep the FIRST THING FIRST!
