DO NOT WORRY!

PHILIPPIANS 4: 6

"DO NOT WORRY about anything:  instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all that He has done."

Do you worry very much?  Do you worry about everything?  Do you feel like your life is in a constant turmoil?  Are you feeling insecure about your ability to manage your life?  It is not uncommon for some to worry so much that they cause themselves to be unhappy and sick a lot. They worry about their country, their job, their family and what is going to happen to them next. Underlying a lot of their worry is that they do not know what the future holds and death is a concept they barely grasp but fear.  Some people are so afraid of everything, including to die, that they fail to live.   The One Truth Today is something everyone needs to understand and live!

The first thing should always remain the first thing.  The Lord Jesus Christ should be the first thing in every ones life.  Before you begin anything you should pray about it and tell God what you need and what you desire.  Do not go to others for advice until you have consulted God and His Word.  The Lord will advise you to not worry about anything you face, for He is with you and is yoked with you in the task.  Why should you worry with a partner the likes of God?  You should also include in your prayers a thank you for all the wonderful things that God has done for you and will do for you.  Remember your past relationship with God has brought you so far and He will be there with you until the end of time.  That is how you can experience God's peace.  God will guard your heart and mind if you come to Him first. 

You can never thank God enough for all that He has done for you.  He died for you and He lives for you.  Remember the many times that the Lord has heard your prayers and answered them.  You do not have to count on yourself alone, that is why you should not worry about anything!  If you are resting in the Lord and His Word you will be at peace at all times.  God is able to help you carry any burden and pull any load.  You could not do it by yourself in any case so be sure to thank God for being there with you and Loving you.  DO NOT WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING.  Remember to pray about everything.  Do not forget the thank God for everything!

LIGHT UP THE DARKNESS

PSALM 119: 105

"Your Word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light unto my path."

Are you afraid of the dark?  Have you every had that scared and creepy feeling when you found yourself walking where there was no light?  Have you on occasion just stumbled along the path of life?  Do you ever wonder what direction you should take when there are no visible or clear signs about the road ahead?  Have you come to the fork in the road and not been sure of which direction or path you should take?  Would you welcome a bright lamp that would light your path and allow you to take the right way?  The Word of God provides the One Truth Today!

When it is dark, the Lord God will light up the darkness for you.  His Word will act as a guide for you.  His Word will give you the right directions.  His Word is the lamp to guide your feet and the light to show you the right path.  Turn to God and follow His commandments.  Keep His laws and study His prophets until they are your hearts delight.  When you know the Word do not hide it, but instead, put it in a place of prominence in your life.  Let the light in your life shine on everyone in your vicinity.  God's Word LIGHTS UP THE DARKNESS!

We are walking a path in our lives.  Is your path toward God or away from God.  If  you walk toward God then you will be walking toward the light and your goal will become more visible as you go along and you will have light to guide you and a bright and visible path to the Lord.  If you walk away from God and turn away from Him you will be going into the darkness and you will with out a doubt stumble and fall off the path and away from the light.  You will have no one to guide you except yourself.  You can not save yourself!  Those that love, fear and know God have the peace and assurance that they are going in the right direction and will find their way home.  Let Jesus Christ the Lord God LIGHT UP THE DARKNESS for you today. 

THINK ABOUT SUCH THINGS!

PHILIPPIANS 4: 8

"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - THINK ABOUT SUCH THINGS!"

What kind of thoughts do you dwell upon?  Would you consider yourself a positive person or a negative person?  Are you looking for things to praise or condemn?  Do you stop to think about things that virtue and honor?  Where is your mind and what is it on?  Is your mind on noble, pure, lovely admirable things that are in the right?  Do you think about what is excellent and praiseworthy in your life?  Do you allow your mind to go over to the dark side and the things that are evil in nature?  The One Truth Today is to think about what you think about!

Long before the "Power of Positive Thinking" was penned, the Lord gave us His Word and explained the direction and control we should have over our lives and thoughts.  If you want to please and worship God then you need to control the thoughts of the natural man and instead focus on the spiritual man.  There is peace on earth to men in God's will and it is His will to point out what you should be thinking about.  We all have free will and we can choose both our thoughts and our actions.  You can dwell on the negative and evil things of this world or you can take Paul's advice and put the above verses into action in  your life.  

Your mind can only hold one thought at a time.  You are in control of the thoughts that you entertain.  You select them one at a time and you are responsible for what you think about.  What do you believe will be the result if you think about true, noble, righteous, pure, lovely, admirable, honorable and reverend thoughts?  What do you think will be the result if you allow your mind to dwell on false, evil, impure and pornographic thoughts?  If your choice is unrighteous, impure, ugly, dishonorable and irreverent thoughts you will seek for peace but you will never find it.  If it is excellent or praiseworthy and glorifies God that is what your mind should be focused on and you should THINK ABOUT SUCH THINGS!

VICTORIOUS!

REVELATION 2: 7

"To everyone who is VICTORIOUS I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God."

Do you want to be victorious in your life?  Almost everyone wants to be a winner.  In fact sometimes winning or being victorious in this life is taken to the extreme.  How many times have you seen riots and mayhem at sporting contests?  The competitive spirit and winning can become paramount and at the expense of morality and decency.  Parents, participants and fans demand victory at any cost, including cheating or corruption.  Everyone wants to be victorious but how many know how to define it?  

Is victory a medal, a cup, a ribbon or a trophy?  One thing is certain victory is fleeting and temporary on earth.  Today's winner is tomorrows loser and vice versa.  If these wins are temporary what is it that we hope to achieve that is lasting or permanent.  What did it mean to John in Revelation for anyone to be victorious?  The spirit tells us that if we have an ear then listen and understand what is being said.  The spirit tells us that "he who overcomes and holds on to the very end in his belief and first love for the Lord will be VICTORIOUS!  Those who obey God's commandments to the very end have victory.  Those who keep doing the works that please God are victors.  In God's eyes we must overcome the world and hold on fast to the Word of God until He returns.  

God's promise is "to everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God".  Do you want life?  Do you want to avoid separation from God and death?  Do  you want to spend eternity in paradise with the Lord.  Do you want to eat of the fruit of the tree of life.  If you know, fear and love God then you do not have to worry about your salvation and you will hold out until the very end of your life.  At the end of the race, and our lives, we will receive the promise and the prize from God.  It is not fleeting or temporary, it is permanent.  This is what it means to be VICTORIOUS.   

OUR DESTINY!

HEBREWS 9: 27-28

"Each person is DESTINED TO DIE ONCE and after that comes their judgement,  So also Christ died once for all as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people.  He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring Salvation to all who are eagerly awaiting Him."

Every one has one thing in common when it comes to their destiny.  Everyone is destined to die once, and after that comes their judgement.  Do you think that you will live forever?  Even though it may be difficult to think about your inevitable death that will not change the outcome.  Death is not a pleasant subject and funerals are not fun events to look forward to.  Still the ratio is clear for us all, one birth to one death.  Have you reconciled these facts with you present situation here on earth?  OUR DESTINY at birth is to die once and then be judged!

Reality is that there will be a judgement for every single person and their soul.  At the time of judgement it will be determined where you will spend eternity.  If you have been born again into the spirit of God then you will live forever.  If you have rejected God and His Salvation then you will die the second death that leads to eternal separation from God.  We all had a choice during our life to accept the Lord or reject the Lord.  We all have had the opportunity to hear the "Good News", the Jesus Christ was sent to die for us and to save us from the grave.  Thus the saying by Christians that to be born twice is to die only once.  Those who refuse God and life are responsible for their own destiny!  They will suffer the second death and eternal separation from God.  God is perfectly just in that unbeliever's are responsible for their choice!

It is appointed unto all men to die once and after that to face a certain judgement.  That is OUR DESTINY!  It is not our destiny to die twice and after that to be separated from God.  Christ has died for our sins and offered to take upon Himself the penalty and burden of all our sins.  His mercy and grace await those who accept Jesus Christ into their heart.  We make the choice and seal our destiny by acceptance or rejection of the free gift.  Jesus Christ is coming a second time to earth.  He will not be carrying the burden of sin but instead will bring Salvation and His saving Grace to all who eagerly await His return.  Those who belong to Jesus Christ all know OUR DESTINY!

FOREVER!

HEBREWS 7: 24-25

"Because Jesus Christ lives FOREVER, His priesthood lasts FOREVER.  Therefore He is able once and FOREVER, to save those who come to God through Him.  Jesus lives FOREVER to intercede with God on our behalf."

Only the fool says in his heart, there is no God.  Only a fool thinks there are no absolutes.  You will die absolutely.  Our agnostic and atheistic teachers and professors have been teaching this lie for a long time now, yet they are all subject once to die and then the judgement.  Their lies have been devastating to many countries and cultures.  If you truly believe that God is dead then who is going to save you?  No professor or teacher or man can save you.  Talk about twisted reasoning and teaching, these fools can not even save themselves!  Jesus Christ lives FOREVER!

If there are no absolutes in the world, then there is no hope.  Yet we know that the ratio between births and deaths is one to one.  Everyone who has been born into the world over 150 years ago is now dead, absolutely dead.  Everyone who is born onto this earth will die, unless they are born again!  In order to be born again you have to accept the free gift of Salvation and eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ.  Because Jesus Christ lives FOREVER and He is able to intercede on your behalf with God the Father you can be saved and receive eternal life.  The power that created the sun, moon and stars and preceded our existence is outside of our earthly dimension.  God had no beginning and has no end, God is FOREVER!  Only God has the power to save you and give you eternal life. 

That which has existed forever is deserving of our worship, love and fear.  To worship humanism in any form is insanity.  To worship anything created by God is stupid and worthless.  The sun, moon, stars or universe can not save you.  Creatures of any kind can not save you.  The One Truth Today is that only Jesus is FOREVER  and only He can save you.  The priesthood of Jesus Christ is forever and unchangeable.  Jesus Christ has always been alive and will always be alive.  If you accept Him and believe in Him he can give you immortality and a new eternal life.  How about you, would you like to have perfection and live eternally in the kingdom of God?  Would you like to live FOREVER!  Ask the Lord to save you right now!

KEEP ON LOVING OTHERS!

HEBREWS 6: 11

"Our great desire is that you will KEEP ON LOVING OTHERS as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true."

Do you remember when you first accepted the Lord into your heart?  Do you remember the great love that you had for God and for others?  Because God forgave you, there was a desire in your heart to forgive others.  You may have gone so far as to love even those who had harmed you.  Do  you remember how you could not wait to tell others about the Good News of Jesus Christ?  You just had to tell others about the free gift of eternal life, because you loved them.  You were anything but indifferent to the fate of others that faced damnation and eternal hell.  The question is does your faith today show the same sincerity and diligence toward others?  Have you KEPT ON LOVING OTHERS?

The One Truth Today points out that it is important that you do not grow spiritually dull and disinterested in your fellow man.  In fact it is the desire of God that you keep on loving others as long as your life lasts.  It is important that you imitate and behave like Jesus Christ and take on His righteousness.  God is Love and therefore we are expected to be like God and KEEP ON LOVING OTHERS.  

Those who have absolute trust and confidence in the Word of God and its power and goodness are truly wise.  We are to practice endurance to the very end.  We so look forward to the inheritance of God and eternal life that we never turn away from God or look back to the things of this earth.  It is the desire of our heart, as it is of God's, that everyone should be saved and receive the free gift of life in heaven with the Lord.  God gave His love and Life freely and He expects us to be like Him.  The promise for loving as long as your life lasts is that your hopes will come true.  What is our great hope.  To be in heaven and perfection for eternity with the Lord.  Make it your desire to KEEP ON LOVING OTHERS!
