HEBREWS 9:27-28
"Each person is destined to die once and after that comes their judgement, so also Christ died once for all as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly awaiting Him."
Do you think you will live forever? For many people it is difficult to think about their inevitable end. Death is not a pleasant subject and funerals are not fun events that we look forward to. There is a clear ratio of one death for one life and the reality is that everyone is destined to die once.
The next reality is that there will be a judgement and this will determine whether you live eternally, or die a second death. We should not fear death if we have accepted the Lord into our hearts and lives. We have a choice and the Good News is that God sent His Son Jesus to save us. He died once so that all could live if they made the right choice. This is why Christians are happy to be born again a second time, for they will only die once. Those who refuse God and His Son will be responsible for their choice and suffer the second death and eternal separation from God. God is perfectly just, and so unbelievers are responsible for their choice!
It is appointed unto all men to die once and after that to face certain judgement. That is our destiny. It is not our destiny to die twice and suffer eternal separation. Christ has offered to take upon Himself the the burden of all of our sins, once and for all. Jesus is coming a second time and He will not be carrying any burden of sin. Jesus is coming to bring Salvation to those of us who eagerly await, constantly and patiently expecting His return. If you belong to Jesus then you should know that is OUR DESTINY!

FOREVER
HEBREWS 7:24-25
"Because Jesus lives FOREVER His priesthood lasts FOREVER. Therefore He is able, once and FOREVER, to save those who come to God through Him. Jesus lives FOREVER to intercede with God on our behalf."
The fool says in his heart, there is no God, and there are no absolutes. Our agnostic and atheistic teachers and professors, at schools of every level, have been teaching this lie to our children. The results have been devastating. If you believe God is dead, then who is going to save you, the professors, or any other man? Talk about twisted reasoning, they can not even save themselves!
If we accept that there is no absolute in the world, then there is no hope! One thing that is absolute is the death ratio to birth. Everyone who is born, dies. You will die on this earth and you can only be born again to eternal life if you accept the free salvation of Jesus Christ. If we truly understand the time and dimensions of this earth, we will surely conclude that the power that created the earth, sun, moon and stars preceded our existence and that although this world had a beginning and an end , that which created it has no beginning and no end. God is FOREVER.
That which existed FOREVER, is deserving of our worship. To worship humanism is as stupid as worshiping the sun, moon, stars or anything on earth. Nothing but God can save you from death and give you eternal life. Jesus priesthood is unchangeable and He lives FOREVER. Therefore, Jesus is able to save you and anyone who accepts Him into their heart and believes in Him as their Savior. Jesus will save you completely, perfectly and finally for all eternity. He is and has always been alive. Ask Jesus to intervene for you right now and FOREVER!

KEEP ON LOVING OTHERS!
HEBREWS 6:11-12
"Our great desire is that you will KEEP ON LOVING OTHERS as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true. Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promise because of faith and endurance."
Do you remember when you first came to the Lord and were saved? Do you remember the great love you had for God and for one another? Because God forgave you, in turn you wanted to forgive others. You even wanted to love those who had harmed you. Do you remember how you could not wait to tell others of the Good News, and share your gift of eternal life? You were anything but indifferent to the fate of others, in that they faced eternal damnation and hell unless they were saved! The question is, does your faith today show the same sincerity and diligence that will support your hope until the end? Do you still have the same assurance?
This scripture points out that it is important that you do not grow disinterested and spiritually dull. It is important that you imitate and behave like those who lean their entire personality on Jesus Christ, the Lord God. We should have absolute trust and confidence in God's power, wisdom and goodness. We are to practice patient endurance and look forward to inheriting His promises. God wants us to keep on loving others just as He does. God is love and He gave it to us freely and in full measure. Remember your first love and KEEP ON LOVING OTHERS!

ONCE ENLIGHTENEND
HEBREWS 6:4
"It is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were ONCE ENLIGHTENED, those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the Word of God and the power of the age to come, and who turn away from God."
Did you accept the Lord into your heart, and do you believe God? Have you repented of your sins? Do you now know and understand about eternal salvation and the heavenly kingdom to come? Have you had hands laid on you and prayer given to have the Holy Spirit enter your life?Have you tasted how good Jesus Christ is and do you understand the power of His Word? In other words, have you been once enlightened?
What will happen to you if you fall away and deviate from the faith, God and His Word? What is the result of your turning away from allegiance to the Lord?
It is impossible to restore and bring a person who turns away from God back unto repentance! The reason is that the person is nailing upon the cross afresh the Son of God. They are holding Jesus in contempt, shame and public disgrace. Once you have been enlightened you are under a duty to hold on to your faith until the very end of this earthly life, and until the end of time! You are under a sentence of an eternal judgement and your eternal Resurrection is at stake. Those who are God's children will be saved and live eternally in Heaven with the Lord. Those who have turned away from God after being once enlightened will be separated from God and in eternal darkness forever. They have made the choice and they have condemned themselves. God is Just! Keep your eyes upon Jesus and never turn away from Him. Where could you go, after being ONCE ENLIGHTENED?

THE REQUIREMENTS OF GOD
DEUTERONOMY 10:12
"What does the Lord God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases Him, that you love Him and serve Him with all your heart and soul, and you must always obey the Lord's commandments and decrees."
Have you accepted the free gift of salvation from the Lord Jesus Christ? Have you repented of your sins and received mercy and grace from God? Are you a new creation with a new heart in Christ? Now that you have been saved, what is it that Jesus expects from you for your remaining time on earth? What are THE REQUIREMENTS OF GOD?
The beginning of wisdom is the fear, love, and knowledge of God. So the first requirement is that you fear the Lord. Show reverence to Jesus Christ. You show your fear and reverence by walking in all His ways and loving and serving Him. Do it with all your heart, mind, body and soul. You must live in a way that pleases God. You must learn His commandments and decrees, and they must be a part of your life at all times.
Now that you know the commandments and decrees, you must keep them. They are given to us for our own good, both here on earth now and in the eternal kingdom to come. If we fail to keep His commandments and statutes we will suffer while here on earth as a natural consequence. It is not enough to listen, we must learn of God, and then we must put His Word into action in our lives. Our actions prove what we believe and what we have learned. It will be clear to others and to God for certain whether we are meeting THE REQUIREMENTS OF GOD.

REST IN PEACE!
HEBREWS 3:19
"So you see that because of their unbelief they were not able to enter His rest."
Why do so many gravestones have the inscription, "rest in peace"? Here on earth many look for peace but find there is no peace. When the Israelites hardened their hearts and refused to listen to God's voice, what was the result of their rebellion. God has taken an oath that people who disobey Him will never enter His rest. If you disobey God's commandments, you will suffer! Here Paul's advice to Christians' is to be careful that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, causing you to turn from the living God. We should not be deceived by sin and hardened against God. If we are faithful to the end, trusting God as firmly as when we first believed, we will share all that belongs to Christ and enter into His rest and peace.
If you have never listened to His Word, and have refused to be persuaded, what do you think will be your inevitable consequence. Peace on earth is for men in God's will! By provoking and grieving God you will have chosen your own fate. You will not enter God's rest if you are tricked by deceitfulness and sin and allow your heart to be hardened.
If you want to REST IN PEACE, listen to the voice of God and believe His message for your life. You must accept the good news and the free gift of life from the Lord Jesus Christ. The consequence of your unbelief will be that you have no peace on earth and you will not enter His rest for eternity. The choice is every persons. Are you at peace?
