REVELATION 3:20
"Look I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends."
For the uneducated we offer the following explanation. Jesus is standing at the door to every ones heart. He is talking to you right now and telling you that if you open the door to your heart He will come in. Not only will Jesus come into your heart He will become intimate with you, like your best friend, and He will share His life with you forever.
The Lord has communicated in many ways and through various devices and people, and He has knocked at the door to every ones heart. Did you hear His voice? Did you hear Him knock? One thing you need to know is the Lord will never knock the door to your heart down. You must open the door so that He may come in as a welcome guest. The only act needed for your salvation, is to open the door to your heart and ask Jesus to come in. Believe the voice of the Lord. Listen for His knock.
In today's language the Lord is saying, "I am standing right outside the door to your heart, right now, and if you hear my voice and heed my call, I will come in to you and share my bread of life with you". If you do this, he opens the door for you to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. He will save you from death, and give you eternal life. You have ears, are you listening. KNOCK, KNOCK!
