"Oh Lord, please leave me, I AM TOO MUCH OF A SINNER to be around you."
Is there anyone who is too much of a sinner to be Saved by Jesus Christ? What kind of a person did the Lord come to earth to Save? Is there anyone who is so "Good", that they do not need to be Saved? We are fortunate that the Lord is no respecter of persons! That is why He is willing to accept anyone who opens their heart to Him, into the kingdom of God! No matter who you are or how much you have sinned, the Lord is offering you the free gift of Salvation and eternal life, if you believe in Him! There is only one way that you can be excluded from having the Lord Save you and forgive you of your sins. You have to reject His offer and refuse His invitation. Our One Truth Today is that no one can say, I AM TOO MUCH OF A SINNER to be around you Lord!
It is a mistake to say to the Lord, please leave me alone! Every person that is born into this world needs to come to a knowledge that they are sinners, and that they need a Savior. No one is good, no not one! All of us have come short of the Glory of God, and we have all been born of the flesh. That is what the "good news" is all about. No matter what sins you have committed or what harm you have done, the Lord offers you a new and spiritual life with the forgiveness of all of your sins, if you give your life to Him. Sins vary with the individual and yet no one can say they are without sin. Everyone needs forgiveness, some more than others. In this scripture, Peter when confronted with the Purity and Holiness of the Lord, realized how filthy and sinful he was in contrast. That applies to us all!
No matter what sins you have committed, or how corrupt you have been, Jesus Christ is the only one who can Save you and give you new and eternal life. If you repent of your sins and confess them to the Lord He will forgive you. No one is too much of a sinner! If you believe in your heart and confess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is the Lord God, you will be Saved!
The Lord is faithful to forgive all of our sins and cleanse us and give us new and eternal life!
Rather than asking the Lord to leave you alone in your sin, you should be praying and asking that He will Save you. No one is beyond His reach and the Lord will disagree if you say, I AM TOO MUCH OF A SINNER!
