THE LORD JUST LAUGHS!

PSALM 37: 12-13

"The wicked plot against the Godly; they snarl at them in defiance. THE LORD JUST LAUGHS, for He has seen the day of their judgement coming!"

We live in a wicked world filled with sin and sinners. It could even be argued that the wicked control and rule the world. The wicked act with defiance against morality, decency and the Lord. At times we believer's feel helpless and think that nothing can be done to stop the wicked from plotting against the Godly. We live in a world filled with pornographers, deviates, perverts and sexual sinners of all kinds. We are surrounded by liars and cheats who each try to out do the other. It would seem that they are not subject to any laws or moral boundaries. Have you ever wondered how God feels about them? THE LORD JUST LAUGHS, for He sees the day of their judgement coming! That is the One Truth Today!

We know that the beginning of wisdom is the Fear of God. The wicked have no Fear and they have no wisdom. The are fools that are all ready dead, for the day of their judgement is coming and they will not be Saved. If you do not Know, Love and Fear God you are lost in your sin and you will be separated from the Lord forever. You made a choice and there will be consequences that you will suffer. Your disrespect of God and your defiance to obey Him will lead to your Just Judgement. The Lord sees the day of your judgement coming and when you defy and show disrespect to God and man, THE LORD JUST LAUGHS!

The Lord is just and fair to all people. He has chosen everyone to be capable of being His child and being Saved. You have to chose to open your heart to the Lord and believe in Him. Your choice, your consequence. The Lord has promised to Save all those who come to Him with repentance. Let the wicked gnash their teeth and plot against the Godly and blaspheme the Lord, for they will receive their just reward. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord God, the difference is that believer's obtain eternal life and non believer's receive eternal damnation as a consequence to their choice. No matter what the wicked do, THE LORD JUST LAUGHS!

PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!

JOB 1: 21

"I came naked from my mother's womb, and I will be naked when I depart. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!"

Many of us tend to surround ourselves with as many possessions as we can accumulate while we are in this world. That includes, cars, homes, jewelry, electronics and toys of all kinds. It varies from a modest amount to a kings palace filled with treasures. Yet, there is one thing that is true about all of us. Our One Truth Today is succinct and clear. We are all born naked and come into this world with nothing. We will all die and leave this world with nothing, just the way we came. You see, the one with the most toys when they die do not win, only those that are a child of God. What's more is that everything that we had while here on earth was given to us by the Lord as a steward of His possessions. As the rightful owner, the Lord has taken it all away when we pass from this world. We can not boast about anything that we are given but we should PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!

For those that teach that there are no absolutes, pay attention. The ratio of deaths to births is one to one. You will absolutely die, and you will take nothing with you when you go. Even if you build a pyramid filled with your personal treasures, you will take none of it when you go!

Anyone who stores us treasures here on earth is on a fools errand. It will all go to someone else when you pass on. Whatever is placed in your coffin or in your grave site will stay right here on earth, until it passes. Enjoy what is given to you by the Lord for it is yours temporarily

and never belonged to you. We came in naked and we left naked, PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!

We are just pilgrims passing through this world and this is not our home. Our eternal home is in heaven with the Lord, and there we will be forever. If you want to store up treasures, make them the type that are heavenly and deserve a heavenly reward. Faith, righteousness, mercy and forgiveness come to mind. Non believer's have another absolute ending. Separation from the God who could have saved them is an absolute when they do not believe in God. Eternal damnation is the reward for rejection of All Mighty God. Believer's look forward to their mansion in heaven, what a contrast with those who chose to reject the Lord. All believer's need to PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!

LOVE NEVER FAILS!

1 CORINTHIANS 13: 7

"Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures in every circumstance, LOVE NEVER FAILS!"

Almost everyone is familiar with the concept that LOVE NEVER FAILS! The question becomes, is it possible for anyone to live up to that standard? The answer is yes, Jesus Christ the Lord God does and did live our One Truth Today. We can not accomplish this, because we are not God. Our task is to strive to live up to this standard and be more and more like Jesus Christ each day! With God's help we can be more successful with each passing day. Jesus expects us to achieve this kind of love and it should be our goal. Put your name in place of love and ask yourself, how are you doing. Think about the times you have failed and consider what you have to do to over come those situations. If you do not love your father, mother, sister or brother, or your fellow man, what changes do you have to make? LOVE NEVER FAILS!

Love is patient and kind, are you? Love is not jealous or boastful, rude or proud, are you?

Love does not demand its own way, do you? Do you think that life is all about you? Love does not keep keep a record of the wrongs done to it, do you? Love is not irritable, are you? Love endures through every circumstance. Love never gives up. Love never loses faith and is always

hopeful. LOVE NEVER FAILS! It is our hope that we can endure and overcome our faults and failures. Let the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ direct and influence your actions and your life!

Never give up, never lose faith, remain hopeful and endure every circumstance. In the end you will achieve perfection with the Lord. LOVE NEVER FAILS!

We must keep in mind that the Lord has forgiven all or our sins and short comings. We are to do the same for others. No matter how bad or selfish or immoral we have been the Lord forgave us and now we must forgive those that trespassed against us. If you want to be forgiven you must be willing to forgive. Think of that person that you said you could never forgive and apply this One Truth Today to them. If you can not or will not forgive them then you are a hearer of the Word but not a doer of the Word. If you Love Jesus Christ then you must forgive them as He has forgiven you. You can do it, LOVE NEVER FAILS!

NO FEAR OF GOD AT ALL!

PSALM 36: 1-2

"Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts. They have NO FEAR OF GOD AT ALL. In their blind conceit, they can not see how wicked they really are!"

"No Fear", is a popular expression in our culture today. It challenges people to be strong and independent and self reliant. We are told not to be afraid of anything or anyone. Our One Truth Today has a different message, that tells us there is one fear that is a matter of life or death! If you want to be wise, then the beginning of wisdom is the Fear of the Lord! This is a healthy fear, of the Lord who made you and the only one that can Save you; No Fear, No God. The ironic part is that with a Fear of God you have the beginning of wisdom and understanding and then you will find out, because you have God, you will have "No Fear". Those that have no fear of God at all are blind and conceited and they do not even see how wicked they really are!

Sin whispers to them deep within their hearts and they listen!

Wicked people do not have the Lord within their hearts and the Holy Spirit is not there to help them discern right from wrong. They are not easily discerned, some serial killers look just like choir boys. Some of the most disgusting looking people have the Lord in their heart and Love God and Fear Him. As a man thinks in his heart, so he will be. The wicked do not have the Lord in their heart and have never accepted His Love and Salvation. They do not believe in a God who will judge them in the end. They are blinded to the power of God or they would fear the Lord. They are so conceited they think they are god and can save themselves. They have

NO FEAR AT ALL! They are controlled by sin!

The wicked have no remorse and no conscience. They believe they can do anything their mind can conjure up. They are blind to the judgement and what will happen to their eternal soul. That is why they can not see how wicked they really are. Murderer's, rapists, drunks, robbers, adulterers, pedophiles, perverts, all have one thing in common, they have NO FEAR OF GOD AT ALL! No fear, No God! The reality is that they are going to be separated from God for eternity and spend that time in Hell! Wrong choice, wrong consequence. Believer's on the other hand have a God the Saves them and gives them eternal life and thus because they are a child of God they can truly say they have No Fear! Who whispers to you? Who do you listen to! Who is in your heart? Who do you truly fear? The Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom!

JESUS IS LORD!

1 CORINTHIANS 12: 3

"I want you to know that no one speaking by the Spirit of God will curse Jesus,

and no one can say JESUS IS LORD, except by the Holy Spirit!"

All believer's know that JESUS CHRIST IS THE LORD GOD! The reason we can say this and know it in our heart is because the Holy Spirit lives within us. Our One Truth Today is that no one can say JESUS IS LORD, except by the Holy Spirit. No one speaking by the Spirit of the Lord can or will curse Jesus Christ! In fact a way to discern whether someone is a true believer or one belonging to a cult is to ask them who Jesus Christ is. If they can not say or do not believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, they are not a believer and they define themselves as a cultist. It is apparent that anyone who curses Jesus Christ is a non believer! If they believe that Jesus was a "good person", an angel, a prophet or a great man, they are not believer's. They do not have the Holy Spirit in them.

Many people use the name of Jesus. Believer's do it to bless people, non believer's use the name of Jesus Christ as a curse against people. Using the Lord's name in vain is a violation of one of the 10 commandments of God and there will be consequences. Cursing Jesus or using His name in vain is equivalent to rejecting God and the Holy Spirit. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is the unforgivable sin and the ultimate rejection of God, His Son and the Holy Spirit. If you end your life rejecting God and cursing Jesus Christ, you will have separated yourself from the Lord forever and this sin will never be forgiven. You will not have received the Holy Spirit that will fill your heart and enlighten you. Your sins will be unforgiven, thus the "unforgivable sin"!

When we have the Spirit of God in our hearts we could never curse Jesus. You may use the name of the Lord inappropriately but we will not curse His name and reject our belief in Him!

When your sins have been forgiven and you have received new and eternal life you can not reject or curse the Lord who Saved you. We have the comfort of knowing that we have been Saved by the Lord and forgiven of all of our sins. How can you reject the One who Saved You?

The free gift of Life has been given to all who accept and believe Him. Those who reject Jesus have condemned themselves and have cursed themselves to eternal separation from God. That is why believer"s hold out unto the very end. We know JESUS IS LORD!

LIFE THAT IS LONG AND PROSPEROUS!

PSALM 34: 12-13-14

"Does anyone want to live a LIFE THAT IS LONG AND PROSPEROUS? Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace and work to maintain it!"

How about you, do you want a LIFE THAT IS LONG AND PROSPEROUS? It is true that our goal is to be in Heaven with the Lord, but while we are pilgrims here on earth, wouldn't you like to be prosperous and live to a ripe old age? The Lord explains how we can do this in His One Truth Today. It basically reinforces the truth that you will reap what you sow. It confirms that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he! It reminds us that we are to think about good and praiseworthy things that are of good report. Watch your tongue because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Keep your tongue from speaking evil. Keep your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good! Search for peace in your life and the lives of others and then work to maintain it! There is a promise if you obey the Lord.

To achieve peace in our lives, we have to work to maintain it. One of the most important ways is to avoid evil. We are to seek righteousness. Flee from the devil and he will depart from you!

We are responsible for our choices, one at a time, and there are consequences for every choice.

We control our thoughts one at a time and therefore we control our actions. Thoughts proceed every action. If you want good fruit in your life, have good thoughts and stay away from evil.

If you are getting bad fruit, then your life is representative of your thoughts and actions. Now add to this that the Lord promises us that if we keep our tongue from speaking evil and our lips from telling lies, and if we turn away from evil and do good, He will give us LIFE THAT IS LONG AND PROSPEROUS! Do you run toward or away from evil?

Are you prosperous? Have you attained a ripe old age? Are you at peace with yourself and those around you? Do you hold your tongue from speaking evil? Do you keep you lips from telling lies? Do you try to do good instead of evil? Do you search for peace and work to maintain it? If you can answer yes to all of the above you will live out the promise of God. You will have a LIFE THAT IS LONG AND PROSPEROUS. If you tell lies and spew forth evil and turn away from good, then you will be responsible for the consequences. If you gossip and are negative then you will reap what you sow! It is the justice of the Lord! Your choice, your consequence!

YOU SHOULD NOT BECOME ATTACHED!

1 CORINTHIANS 7: 32

"Those who use the things of this world, YOU SHOULD NOT BECOME ATTACHED

to them. As we all know the world will soon pass away!"

The Pharaohs of Egypt are the best example of those failing our One Truth Today. They went to the extreme effort to build pyramids that could house their things of this world, and then they passed away! One thing happens to us all, the rich man and the poor, we all pass away. As believer's we all know and believe that the world and everything in it will soon pass away and the Lord is trying to warn us, YOU SHOULD NOT BECOME ATTACHED to anything here on earth! Do you have an inventory of all the things that you possess presently? Are there some things you believe you can not live without? Are you attached to your home, some jewelry, some family heirlooms, your car or electronic toys? What about the land that defines your family heritage are you attached to it at all costs? Do you feel if you lose them you will die, or do you realize that when you die you will lose them? You may use them, but you will lose them!

Some believe the saying that "the one with the most toys when they die is the winner". Can you be any more wrong than that? What would it profit you if you gained and possessed the whole earth but lost your eternal soul? Everything you had would be given to someone else when you died and in the end it will all burn when the earth passes away! You would be left with nothing. Worse yet you could be condemned to eternal damnation and separation from God because you chose to reject the Salvation of God. You came into this world with nothing and you will leave with nothing when you go! Remember we are just passing through this world and it is not our home. YOU SHOULD NOT BECOME ATTACHED!

If you want to reduce your anxiety and stress in this world, then you need to understand who owns everything. Everything you have God has given you on a temporary basis and He expects us to be good stewards. You do not own anything here on earth. The test for you here on earth is to choose to Know, Love and Fear God and accept His free gift of eternal life and Salvation.

You can not lose what you have never owned. If a house burns down, or some jewelry is stolen, or everything is taken from you, the proper perspective is that "the Lord is my Shepherd, I have all that I need". Your world will pass away soon and although you use the things of this world, YOU SHOULD NOT BECOME ATTACHED!
