AN UNDERSTANDING WIFE!

PROVERBS 19: 14

"Fathers can give their sons an inheritance of houses and wealth, but only the Lord can give AN UNDERSTANDING WIFE."

Men, are you married?  If not, are you looking for the perfect wife?  Your earthly father can give you material blessings, but only the Lord can supply you with the perfect woman.  We need to pray to the Lord for AN UNDERSTANDING WIFE.  Many a man has been foolish and brought calamity on himself and his family by not understanding the One Truth Today.  To many men look upon the outward appearance or the easy conquest of a women.  Instead men need to look at the inward beauty and Godliness of a woman that will never fade.  They need someone who will love them to the very end.  If a woman has no faith or belief in the Lord they will follow any path, even one that leads to unrighteousness and infidelity.  If you end up with a wife that has not been given to you by God, you will end up in a contentious marriage which will be like the continuous dropping of water through a hole in your roof of your house.

Do not think that because you inherited houses and wealth from your parents that you are set for life.  Do not think that if you work endlessly for increased wealth that it will not be at the sacrifice of your wife and family.  If you want a happy marriage and an understanding and faithful wife you must pray to the Lord for the right person to be yoked with.  If you live in a house with a contentious and quarrelsome wife you will learn what the meaning of "hell on earth" is!  It is like a constant dripping!  As believer's we should put the Lord first in everything in our lives and that includes helping us make the right choice for the perfect helpmate and   AN UNDERSTANDING WIFE !

Understand that all men should desire a wise, prudent and understanding wife.  The Lord will provide one for you if you will but pray and then listen to His advice.  You must understand that this is one of the most important decisions of your life.  It is more important than praying for wealth or a large inheritance.  The Lord will supply all of your needs if you seek Him first and love Him with all your heart, mind, body and soul.  If you had all ready been married when you came to the Lord, it is imperative that you both open the door to your hearts and ask Jesus Christ to come in and dwell with you.  You should be equally yoked.  This should be the earnest prayer of whoever comes to the Lord first.  You should be of the same mind and seeking the same faith and righteousness.  The Lord answers the prayers of a righteous person and those that believe in Him.  He is the only one who can deliver to you AN UNDERSTANDING WIFE!

MADE RIGHT WITH GOD!

ROMANS 3: 22-23

"We are MADE RIGHT WITH GOD by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.   This is true for everyone who believes, no matter who they are.  For everyone has sinned, we all fall short of God's Glorious standard."

Everyone needs to be MADE RIGHT WITH GOD!  Those who do so are saved and receive eternal life.  Those who do not, remain sinners and fall short of the Glory of God.  So everyone, no matter who they are, can only be made right with God by placing their faith in Jesus Christ the Lord God. Have you ever sinned?  How about today, have you sinned?  You can not be saved by the Law of God, because it is impossible for man to achieve God's standard.  That means that we are not perfect and God is.  How then can we be saved from certain death and separation from God?  You will have to be MADE RIGHT WITH GOD!  There is only one way that you can do that.  By placing your faith in Jesus Christ, and believing in Him, you will be saved! 

God left a manual for our lives in His Holy Word.  God has shown us how to be made right with Him even though we can not keep the requirements of His Law.  God knew from the beginning that we would fall short of His Glory.  It is because of His mercy and Love for us that He provided a way to escape death and separation from Him.  We can be made righteous by accepting Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, into our hearts and believe on Him.  We are made righteous by Jesus Christ,  He is our Salvation.  When God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for our sins, those who have faith in Him received forgiveness, and they are MADE RIGHT WITH GOD!

Do you have a personal trust, faith and confidence in Jesus Christ?  Do you believe that God will save you and give you eternal life?  If you do then you will be saved and given eternal life in heaven.  It does not matter who you are, or what you have done in the past, for all of us have sinned and all have come short of the Glory of God.  No one of us is good, no not one.  You are not a "good person", unless you have faith in Jesus Christ.  Whatever you have done that you think God could never forgive, you are wrong.  That is why God provided a plan and sacrificed His only son, just for you.  You have to do one thing, believe in Jesus Christ and have faith in His power to save you.  The One Truth Today when heard and understood by people allows them to be MADE RIGHT WITH GOD!

CONTROL YOUR TEMPER!

PROVERBS 19: 11

"Sensible people CONTROL THEIR TEMPER; they earn respect by overlooking wrongs."

Do you have a temper, a bad temper?  Do you argue with others and become loud and belligerent?  Have you ever said something that you regret and wish you could take back?  If your answer is no, perhaps we should also discuss the sin of lying.  The fact is, that when we think we are being wronged by others, we have a tendency to become defensive and strike out in anger. We need to know that a sensible person has wisdom that allows them to be patient. They can earn the respect of others by overlooking the wrongs done to them.  That is the One Truth Today!

We should learn discretion, patience and control of our emotions.  The Lord is slow to anger and that should be our goal, to emulate Him.  If you overlook the transgressions and sins of others it will be to God's glory and toward your righteousness.  You can save yourself a lot of embarrassment and suffering by controlling your temper.  You will not have to apologize if you do not act in anger in the first place.  You can keep peace about you.  It makes good sense to control your anger and restrain your tongue, and it pleases God.  You control your thoughts and actions, one at a time and therefore you can control your temper.  That is the sensible thing to do and you will earn the respect of those around you.  

The important part of hearing and digesting the One Truth Today, is that you make it part of your life.  Some require more change than others, but all of us could benefit if we put this to work in our life today.  The beginning of wisdom is the fear and knowledge of God.  When we apply His laws and principals, by controlling our thoughts and actions, we become wiser and more like the Lord.  The next time you feel anger growing in your heart, and you are about to respond in anger, stop and control yourself.  CONTROL YOUR TEMPER.  When you see the wisdom of overlooking the offense and the peace is brings, you will want to repeat that experience over and over.  A soft answer always turns away wrath, but an angry answer only foments any problem.  There is Peace on earth to men in God's will. That is what to expect if you have the Lord in your heart and learn to CONTROL YOUR TEMPER!

OBEYING THE LAW!

ROMANS 2: 13

"For merely listening to the law does not make us right with God.  It is OBEYING THE LAW that makes us right in God's sight!"

Be honest, do you always obey the law?  What would happen if everyone who felt like it only obeyed the laws they agreed with or believed in?  Would stop signs in the road be certain to stop everyone, or only the ones who agreed with them.  If we merely listened to the law but never obeyed the law there would be chaos.  The result would be accidents and death.  What if everyone choose to use the speed on the highway they decided on, and not the legal posted limit?  How many accidents could and do occur?  What if instead of decided law people could make up their own law?  We would see even more chaos then we do today!  The One Truth Today is that merely listening to the Law of God is not going to make us right in His sight!  It is OBEYING THE LAW, that makes us right in God's sight.  Seeing and acknowledging the speed sign does not make us right with the law.   Following the speed limit makes us right with the law.   

OBEYING THE LAW is what will make us right with God and a good citizen.  It is not what we read or hear about the law that will make us righteous.  It is when we obey the laws of God and man that we can be justified and found guiltless before the law.  We must be doers of the Word and not just hearers.  In the world we will be judged by man and the law he imposes.  It may or may not be imposed, depending on whether we are caught in violation, or get away with violating it. Upon death we will be judged and condemned by God.  The difference is you can not mock God and you will not be able to hide or get away with violating God's Laws, for He has knowledge of everything about you.   God knows if you just listened but did not obey His Laws.  God knows about your faithfulness and righteousness and He alone is your Salvation. 

All of us have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.  That is why it is so important to hear and then accept the Word of God.  The "Good News" of Jesus Christ, the Lord God, is that even though we break God's laws and fall short of His Glory, God has a plan that will save us from our sins and His mercy and forgiveness will allow us to be found not guilty.  God's laws are found written on our hearts.  That is what give us each a conscience and tells us right from wrong. That is why believer's have a small voice that helps us to make moral and correct decisions.  Others have silenced their conscience and commit any act they desire and think of. We dishonor God when we sin, and it separates us from Him.  The only way to be saved is to repent of our sins and ask God to forgive us.  It is our duty as believer's to continue until the end, OBEYING THE LAW!

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

ROMANS 2: 6

"God will judge everyone according to WHAT THEY HAVE DONE!"

Everyone that is born is going to die.  The ratio is one to one and it is an absolute truth.  When you die you will come before the Lord God for judgement.  "God will judge everyone according to WHAT THEY HAVE DONE"!  The important part we need to know and understand is that God is fair and just, but you will be responsible for whatever happens to you.   Good choices during your life lead to good consequences upon death and judgement.  Bad choices and rejection of the Lord during your life will lead to separation from God and the second death.  During your life, have you been stubborn and have you refused to turn from your sin and repent to God?  You need to know and understand that you are storing up a terrible, self inflicted, punishment at the day of judgement.  God's righteous judgement will be revealed to you personally.  Those that accepted the Lord's Salvation will be saved.  Those who have rejected God will receive the wrath of His anger.  It will be what you have done on earth that will determine where you end up eternally.  WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

Some people do not believe in God or in the judgement day.  They are fools and they will suffer the consequence of their choice and belief.  They are wrong in not believing in God, that is the unpardonable sin.  It will be too late to repent and ask for forgiveness and Salvation.  God is no respecter of persons and His judgements are impartial and completely fair.  We condemn ourselves when we reject God.  All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God and that is why Jesus Christ came to pay for our sin and then Save us from the second death, and give us eternal life with Him.  "God will judge everyone according to WHAT THEY HAVE DONE!

People who have been saved were as bad as the people now condemned.  The difference is that they have a Saviour.  God is wonderfully kind and tolerant and patient.  He will forgive us if we will repent of our sins and ask Him into our heart and believe on Him.  If we open the door to our heart when Jesus Christ knocks,  He will enter and dwell with us.  He will give us forgiveness of our sins, and a new life.  Best of all He promises us eternal life with Him in Heaven.  Do you love the Lord?  Have you opened the door to your heart and asked Him in? Have you repented and asked for forgiveness?  Then you will escape the anger and separation from God eternally.  Everyone will be judged according to what they have done.  WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

SHAMEFUL DESIRES!

ROMANS 1: 26-27

"God abandoned them to their SHAMEFUL DESIRES.  Even women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other.  Men, instead of having normal relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of their sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved."

Homosexuals do not want us to believe in the Word of God or even that there is a God!  They have made it their goal to have God removed from society and promote the idea that God is dead.  First remove any trace of God from the educational system and then promote your alternative life styles as a substitute.  What is their motive?  What does God think about women having sexual relations with women?  What does God think about men having sexual relations with other men?  The One Truth Today is very plain and easy to understand.  There is no ambiguity.  God does not believe the homosexual life style is an acceptable alternative and He warns that as a result of homosexual sin they will suffer the penalties within themselves. ` God  will abandon homosexuals to their SHAMEFUL DESIRES, and turn them over to their vile affections and degrading passions.  These sinful relationships are unnatural and abnormal!

It is clear to everyone that these shameful acts have been responsible for men and women to suffer within themselves the penalty of their choices.  Deviant behavior and lifestyles have lead to severe consequences.  Bad choices lead to bad results.  There are inevitable consequences when you violate God's laws and His Word.  Sin separates us from God.  As a result of their lust they will become burned out and consumed with their lust for one another.   Unless they repent of their sin and turn to God and away from that lustful lifestyle, their judgement will be harsh and they will incur the second death.  The question is not whether God loves the homosexual, the real question is, do homosexuals Love Jesus Christ the Lord God!

Most homosexuals do not acknowledge God or consider Him worthy of respect or fear.  They have a sexually based mind that is not wholesome or natural.  They prefer the indecent and loathsome lifestyle instead of one of righteousness.  In fact the major goal of homosexuals is to disprove that there is a God or that they are sinning.  They become slanderers and haters of God and reject the Lord out of hand.  They are without understanding and become faithless, conscienceless, and merciless.  They give hearty approval to others to join them in their sin and promote the lifestyle.  God never abandons them, they abandon God.  If you reject God you will be rejected at the judgement and you will receive the consequences of your choices.  You will die the second death and be abandoned by God.  Everyone is responsible for their own actions and thus the Lord is just and fair, and they will be judged accordingly.  God will abandon them to their SHAMEFUL DESIRES!  

THEY HAVE NO EXCUSES!

ROMANS 1: 20

"For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and the sky.  Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature.  So, THEY HAVE NO EXCUSES,  for not knowing God!"

It is true, "only a fool says in his heart there is no God".  Everyone knows it, in their heart, and they have to reject the concept that is so evident.  If you do not know God , you will really not have an adequate excuse.  Ever since the creation of the world, and man's presence in it, God's invisible nature, eternal power and divinity have been intelligible and discernible to everyone. God has made Himself known by the things that He has made, the handiwork on display to all. Look up at the sun, moon and stars.  You are looking at the power of God and you can not deny it.  That is why there is no excuse or defense or justification for not knowing, or rejecting God!

You have to actually close your eyes and your mind to the wonders of the universe brought into existence by the Word of God.  You have to purposely close your ears to the Word of God that was given to us all.  The truth has been made known to you in so many ways.  You have to close the door to your heart and reject the knock by Jesus Christ, the Lord God, in order not to believe.  If you say today that there is no God, you are only proving that you are a fool and a rebellious person, who wants to be there own god.  Do you really believe that you can save yourself from death?  Do you really believe that you could create the universe or even speak into existence this world and man?  If people believe this, THEY HAVE NO EXCUSES!

When the time comes to meet your God, everything that you have said and believed will be known and transparent to the Lord.  You will be judged by your own words, thoughts and actions.  You will be totally responsible for any judgement that you bring upon yourself.  If you disrespect God and have never known God as your Lord and Saviour,  you have only yourself to blame.  Wrong choices lead to bad consequences.  Instead of having the Lord of the Universe as an advocate for you,  you will be alone and separated from God.  You will have no truth, no salvation, no eternal life.  The worst part is that people like that,  THEY HAVE NO EXCUSES!
