REVELATION 22:17
"Let anyone who hears this say, come. Let anyone who is THIRSTY come. Let anyone who desires, drink freely from the water of life."
Have you ever been really thirsty? All you need is a drink of water and you can go on living. In the desert people who have no water, that come upon an oasis, will run and dive into the water and drink freely, all they want. This of course saves their life. What if they do not find the water that gives life? What if they can not drink freely all they want? What happens is, they shrivel up and die, a horrible and agonizing death. Do you hear what is being said to you by Jesus Christ?
Have you ever been really hungry? So hungry you would eat a bug or what is left in the refrigerator? If you did not find some bread or its equivalent you may not be able to sustain your life. Do you know who is the bread of life? If there is an empty feeling in the pit of your stomach and you realize something is missing in your life, then listen to what Jesus Christ has to say. You hunger and thirst will never end until you find and love the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the bread of life and He is the only nourishment you will ever need. Jesus Christ is the only one who can satisfy your thirst and He will give you rivers of flowing water that you can drink freely, all you want. Can you hear Him calling you by the Holy Spirit and through His Word. He knows of your thirst and hunger and He is the only way you will ever be satisfied. Once again, Jesus Christ is the answer to all and any questions you may have about life and why you are here. Are you hungry, are you thirsty, do you want to be satisfied? Right in front of you is the answers you are looking for. ARE YOU THIRSTY?
