SOME SINS AND GOOD DEEDS ARE OBVIOUS!

1 TIMOTHY 5: 24-25

"Remember, THE SINS OF SOME PEOPLE ARE OBVIOUS, leading them to certain judgement. There are others whose sins will not be revealed until later. In the same way, THE GOOD DEEDS OF SOME PEOPLE ARE OBVIOUS. The good deeds done in secret will someday come to light."

THE SINS OF SOME PEOPLE ARE OBVIOUS. Adolph Hitler comes to mind. We can all be certain that the sins that are not forgiven will lead to the certain judgement of God! All sin. unless it is confessed to Jesus Christ the Lord God, will lead to certain judgement. In this scripture we learn that some sins of some sinners will not be revealed until later and then it will be too late. These hidden sins will be revealed at Judgement Day, by God, and then will come the certain judgement and separation from God. Nothing can be hidden from the Lord!

It is good advice to confess all of your sins to the Lord and ask for His forgiveness! Everything done in the dark will be seen in the light, everything whispered will be shouted from the house tops. Are you prepared to meet your Lord today?

In a like manner, some good deeds, that have not been conspicuous and are unknown will be revealed and come to the light. Sometimes the left hand does not know what the right hand has done. Even so, these good deeds can not be hidden from God. They will be revealed at the time of the Judgement and they will be rewarded. All of our deeds will become manifest and evident and will be revealed at the Great White Throne Judgement. You will have built up treasures for heaven or you will have chosen to condemn yourself to Hell. What are you hiding? You can not hide anything from an Omnipotent God! The Lord is Merciful to those who love Him!

Nothing you have done in your entire life has been done in a void or in hiding. Even if no living person has knowledge of your actions, the Lord knows! If your choices and actions or thoughts are known will they be for good or for evil. Will you have accepted the free gift of life and forgiveness, or will you have rejected God and disrespected Him? Your sins will be revealed and not just the obvious ones. If you have any good deeds to do, do them now, as often as you can. They will someday come to light. Are you ready for your Judgement Day?

CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD!

JEREMIAH 23: 24

"CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD, in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and the earth, says the Lord."

Have you heard the expression that, you can run from yourself, but there is no where to hide? As a little child did you think that if you closed your eyes, everybody and everything would disappear? Now hopefully you know better and understand our One Truth Today. CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD? Is there any place that you can go on the earth or in heaven that God is not there? God is everywhere and just like you can not hide from yourself, you can not hide from God! Are you trying to hide from God today? Are you refusing to acknowledge His existence? Do you think that because you do not believe God He is not there? If you reject God He will not disappear. No, no one can hide from God in the end!

The Lord fills the heaven and the earth and is everywhere. You can see His handiwork in the Universe. The earth is His footstool. Man may try to pretend there is no God but that is just like a child who closes his eyes and thinks things disappear. Mans attempts at anything are feeble compared to God who is Omnipotent. Where do you think that you could go and escape the presence of God. There is no where! CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD-NO!

In Second Thessalonians 1: 7-9 we read that the Lord Jesus Christ will appear from heaven. He will bring judgement on those who do not know Him and those that have rejected His free gift of life. The Good News is that those that have received Jesus Christ into their heart will have the Lord as their personal Savior. Now believer's will never be separated from God and will be with Him for eternity. To be apart from God and separated from Him is a different result. You will be damned forever in Hell. Listen to the still small voice calling out to you before it is too late. CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD! The answer is No you can not hide from God and you had better listen to the One Truth Today before it is too late for you!

REPENT OF YOUR SINS!

LUKE 13: 3

"You will perish, unless you REPENT OF YOUR SINS and turn to God!"

Have you seen the cartoons were the holy man is holding a sign that reads "REPENT SINNER"?

Usually the other side of the sign reads, "THE END IS NEAR". The sign is being held by a man in a robe and sandals, with a long white beard, reminding us of John the Baptist. There is always a joke at the bottom that is meant to be funny. How ironic that something that contains such a concise statement of the Truth has become a joke to so many. The consequences of not getting the message are anything but funny and the difference between life and death. It may seem clever or humorous to make light of our One Truth Today but your life is at stake. YOU WILL PERISH UNLESS YOU REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND TURN TO GOD!

In God's timing mere mortals are always close to the end. The message that the end is near is the truth for us individually. We are here and in the twinkling of God's eye we will reach the end of our human life. It is true that all men will perish and death will happen to all of us. This is not a joke. Your soul will end up in one of two places for eternity. You can be damned to Hell forever, or you can REPENT OF YOUR SINS and turn to God to be Saved and receive an eternal life in Heaven forever. You will perish unless you heed the message of the Lord!

You will not perish, but instead have everlasting life if you heed the message of this scripture.

Ask the Lord into your heart today to dwell with you. REPENT OF YOUR SINS! You can be born again into the Kingdom of God. To repent means to turn around from the path you are on, that is in the flesh and sinful, and follow the straight and narrow path that leads to God.

Turn away from the life of the flesh and instead turn to the life of the Spirit. Your choice and your consequence. You alone are responsible for your choice. REPENT SINNER AND TURN TO GOD, OR YOU WILL PERISH!

WORKING FOR THE LORD!

COLOSSIANS 3: 23

"Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were WORKING FOR THE LORD, rather than for people."

Who do you work for? Who is your Boss? Even if you are working independently, you are still working for your clients or end users. You could say that who ever pays you, is your real boss!

In this world there will always be someone who is over you or to whom you are beholding. It may even be the Government. The smartest business owners know that their customers are the Boss! The customers who pay for your services in the end pay you. In short we all work for some one and the question is who do you work for? The One Truth Today is that you are WORKING FOR THE LORD!

Homemakers, nannies, caregivers, children doing chores in the home, all have one thing in common in this scripture, they are WORKING FOR THE LORD! You should work willingly at whatever you do, as though your boss was really the Lord. In reality you are not working for any person, you are working for God! That is why even the slaves were admonished to be good workers and good slaves in the bible. We have to keep in mind that we are all in servitude to the Lord while we are temporarily here on earth. This is an attitude that is unknown to the unbeliever. You can suffer through any momentary situation because of the promise of the Lord. You will be rewarded by God in the end and the pay is beyond comprehension. So, are you WORKING FOR THE LORD?

No matter what you do, put your whole heart and soul into it, willingly. You are not really working for people, you are, WORKING FOR THE LORD! No complaining because your wages will be much more than any effort extended on your part. You will receive your just compensation from God. The real reward is not in this moment on earth but in Heaven and that eternally. Think about it clearly, you are really a slave to Jesus Christ and He is your master and not anyone else. If you want to be happy and satisfied then always remember in every thing that you do, you are WORKING FOR THE LORD!

THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN!

COLOSSIANS 3: 2-3

"THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Jesus Christ the Lord God."

Our One Truth Today is that your real life is hidden, with Jesus Christ the Lord God, in Heaven! We are not to dwell on the things of this earth, because we died to this life and we now live in Christ!. How often do you think about Heaven and your real and eternal life to come? Which life is more important to you, the one here on earth, or your eternal life in Heaven? Have you been able to grasp the concept of how short your life really is as you pass through on your way to Heaven? Are you certain where you will spend your eternity? As a pilgrim passing through are you spending a lot of time trying to accumulate worldly possessions or are you building up your treasures for heaven? You came into this world with nothing and you will leave with nothing. THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN!

Your attention and affection should be set on the things above because you have died to this life and will be spending eternity with the Lord in Heaven. Set your mind on the higher things and THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN. That is where your real and eternal home will be!

Your life here on earth will lead to inevitable death and because you are born again you will not suffer the second death but instead you will be with the Lord forever in Heaven. As a child of God He has prepared a mansion for you as He said in His Word. Your hidden life will be revealed in your eternal home, in the presence of Jesus Christ the Lord God!

When tragic things happen here on earth, people ask, "why would a good God allow bad things happen"? There are questions about babies dying, planes crashing, killer storms and events.

Everyone has there own personal tragedies that they can relate about events here on earth. If you only have your sights set on the things of this earth then you will not be able to understand the question or have an answer. Look in the right direction, "look up for your redemption is drawing nigh". Your hidden and eternal life are in heaven and not of this earth. Because you died to this life your real life will be with Jesus Christ the Lord God. Eternal perfection is not found here on earth. Death, disease and destruction and limitations are found on earth. We need to keep our thoughts and sight vertically and not horizontally. Do not focus on the earth,

THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN!

ARE YOU DEAD OR ALIVE?

COLOSSIANS 2: 13

"You were DEAD because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you ALIVE with Christ, for He forgave all your sins."

There was a popular movie called DEAD MAN WALKING. The theme of the movie was that in some cases a man may be all ready dead, they just do not know it! It could be because of poison, or radiation, but the point is that their death was inevitable, certain and soon. Unless some miracle intervenes, they are dead, even though for the moment they are alive. That describes the condition of man here on earth. We are all born and we will all die, it is just a matter of time until we all meet that same fate. You are dead because of your sin and because your sinful nature has not been cut away, unless you have received new life from Jesus Christ the Lord God. If you believe in Jesus, He will forgive you of all of your sins and give you new and eternal life. The question for you is ARE YOU DEAD OR ALIVE!

If you are a DEAD MAN WALKING right now, you may be physically alive for the moment but you are spiritually dead if you have not been "born again". Your end is in sight and without God making you alive, by the forgiveness of your sins, you are doomed and damned! You will be separated from God for eternity. It is your choice and your consequence whether or not you accept the free gift of eternal life. Your spirit will live eternally, the question is where will it exist, Heaven or Hell? If you have been born again you will not suffer the second death and you will have new life. If you reject new life you will suffer the second and eternal death. ARE YOU DEAD OF ALIVE?

If you want to be Saved there is only one who can do it. Jesus Christ the Lord God is the only way to Salvation and eternal life. You can accept and believe the Lord and receive eternal life or you can reject God and be separated eternally. The choice is clear and obvious, unless you prefer death rather than life. Remember the first lie and the continuing lie of the devil, surely you wont die. Are you going to believe the lie? ARE YOU DEAD OR ALIVE!

THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS!

PHILIPPIANS 4: 8

"Fix your thoughts on what is TRUE, and HONORABLE, and RIGHT, and PURE,

and LOVELY and ADMIRABLE. THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS, that are

EXCELLENT and WORTHY OF PRAISE."

Did you know that your mind can only hold one thought at a time? Do you realize that only you are in control of your thoughts? As a man thinks in his heart, so is he! You are in control and responsible for your thoughts, no one else can make your choices for you! The One Truth Today acknowledges that fact, and urges you to THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS! Man has been given a free will and can fix his mind and choose what to think about. You are responsible for your choices. That is why this advice is among the most important you will receive. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS!

The difference between being happy and successful and being depressed and a failure depend on what you think! I am sure you know someone who always thinks the worst about everything.

They seem to dwell upon and think about what is wrong, and false, and dishonorable, and ugly.

They surround themselves with thoughts that are impure and can never be admired. Their thoughts are not about what is praiseworthy or excellent or reflects the righteousness of God!

In short they think about the negative aspects of life instead of being positive. They can tell you what is wrong with everything and everybody, but they are incapable of defining what is right!

Descartes the French philosopher said it this way, "I think, therefore I am".

The Word tells us we are what we think. That is why you should THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS! Fix your mind and your thoughts on what is truth, not a lie. Think about doing the honorable thing and doing the right thing! Think about pure, lovely and admirable things. If it is excellent and worthy of praise, then think about it, if not then control your thoughts and your mind, it is your choice. Do not get caught up in the carnal and ugly side of man kind, such as

pornography, R rated movies, or evil shameful desires. Do not surround yourself with cursing, profanity, or sinful things. Pick your friends and spend your time with the faithful, righteous,

God fearing people around you. If we are what we think then we need to be careful what we think about. THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS!
