CALLING ALL SINNERS!

1 TIMOTHY 1: 15

"This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: Jesus Christ came into the world to Save Sinners, and I am the worst of them all."

To all those that think everything is about them, here is the One Truth Today and it is about you. Do you know that you are a sinner? Lets not argue about the degree. The Word of God teaches us that "all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God". The word all includes you. "No one is good, no not one". The phrase no one includes you. We are all sinners, yet there is no one who has sinned so badly that they cannot be Saved by Jesus Christ, even the worst sinner of them all! Do you think that your sins are so terrible that the Lord could never forgive you and Save you? In this scripture Paul confessed that he had broken God's laws, had been rebellious and even defiled that which is holy. Even though Paul believed he was the worst sinner of all the Lord Jesus Christ forgave his sins and Saved him. No matter what you may have done the Lord will forgive you of your sins and have mercy on you and Save you!

You are not the worst sinner of all time. You are capable of the Lord's mercy and forgiveness and if you believe in Him, He will Save you. It helps if you know and confess that you have broken God's laws and that you need a Saviour. Instead of your sin separating you from God the mercy of Jesus Christ can Save you and give you eternal life. JESUS CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS! Open the door to your heart and invite the Lord to come in and dwell with you. Accept the free gift of Salvation and eternal life. You could never save yourself, but that is why the Lord came into the world, to save you!

Jesus Christ is CALLING ALL SINNERS! That includes you me and everyone who has ever lived. It is a given that we all need to be forgiven of the sins that we have committed against God. We need a Saviour. Our saviour is the Lord Jesus Christ, the only one who can forgive us and cleanse us of our sins. He is long suffering and patient and has unconditional love for all of us. That is why there is hope for you and me. The greater the sinner the greater the Glory to God when you are saved. Think of all the examples of heinous people who have come to the Lord and are now God fearing, righteous people. If the Lord can Save them, He can save you and that is our One Truth Today!

A PURE HEART, A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, A GENUINE FAITH!

1 TIMOTHY 1; 5

"All believer's should be filled with love, that comes from A PURE HEART, A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, A GENUINE FAITH!"

Our One Truth Today will allow you to assess your place in the Kingdom of God. If you are a true believer then you should be filled with love that comes from your pure heart, your clear conscience and your genuine faith. When we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts and lives we then become a new person with a new heart. Your old sinful nature should have fallen away and in its place there should be a new loving person. A genuine faith never waivers or returns to the old carnal nature. A pure heart can not be corrupted by this world. You will have a clear conscience because you are no longer condemned to death and separation from God. All your old sins have been forgiven. You will be filled with love! Does that describe you?

We are to avoid anything that will not help us in our new life of faith. We are to stop listening to anyone who teaches anything contrary to the Word of God and His Truth. We are to avoid endless discussions about myths and spiritual pedigrees. We should give no importance to endless genealogies, fables or mere speculations that talk or teach about another god. Many have missed the mark and wandered into vain repetitions, discussions and arguments. If you are confronted by someone who is not filled with love, is argumentative, and teaches a false doctrine, walk away and avoid being influenced by a fool. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God, and if they do not fear God, they are foolish. They are not true believer's!

All true believer's have A PURE HEART, A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, AND A GENUINE FAITH! They are filled with love. They are becoming more like Christ with each passing day. Like the Lord they have unconditional love for one another. They are in God's will for their lives and they are at peace, the kind that passes all understanding. They listen and learn from the instruction of the Lord in His Word. They are continually giving thanks to God for all that He has given and provided, including eternal life. They ask the Holy Spirit to guide them in the paths of righteousness. You can tell them by their fruit, and by their love for one another. That is true of ALL BELIEVER'S. No they are not perfect but they are set apart by their Love that comes from A PURE HEART, A CLEAR CONSCIENCE AND A GENUINE FAITH!

THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU!

THESSALONIANS 5: 16-17-18

"Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances. THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU, who belong to Jesus Christ!"

Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice! Are you always joyful? Pray without ceasing and in all things. Do you pray about everything and never stop praying? Do you thank God no matter what the circumstances are in your life? No hesitation before you answer, does this describe you? THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU, if you have been Saved by Jesus Christ the Lord God! Have you wondered what you would have to do to be in the Lord's will every day. Here is the answer to your question. You will need to commit to rejoice in the Lord always. You will need to make it a habit to never stop praying to God about everything in your life. You will need to give thanks to the Lord for all He has done for you and all He has given you! Do you belong to Jesus Christ? Then do His will!

Each of us should be happy and joyful in our faith. Do not forget that we were all lost in our sin until Jesus Christ Saved us and gave us eternal life. As a child of God we are not of this world but we are just passing through and we are to spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord. What joy we should experience. This is the gift that keeps on giving forever. Knowing all this we should never stop praying to our Lord about everything and anything. He wants us to go to Him first in all things. We must be thankful for our Salvation and eternal life and we must be thankful in each and every circumstance that we find ourselves in at the moment. In bad times it is useful to remember that the Good Times are coming and they are eternal. It is easy to do if you realize that THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU!

It may seem difficult to be thankful at a time of death or illness in your family. When a calamity strikes we must never lose sight of the eternal perspective and the fact that all of our troubles are merely a moment in time. Imagine the eternal aspect of your Saved Soul, there will be no death, no illness, no weeping and no wailing. The Lord has a perfect plan for your life and you may not understand it at a given moment but all your questions will be answered when you take up your mansion in Heaven and there you will be with the Lord always! God will reveal all to you at that time. You will look back at your earthly experience as a moment in time and you will understand all that occurred in your life. There is peace on earth to men in God's will, are you one of them? Keep praying that the Lord will explain that THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU!

YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN NOT HIDE!

JEREMIAH 23: 24

"Can anyone hide from God in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in the heavens and the earth, says the Lord!"

You can run from yourself, and you can run from God, but there is no place to hide! Remember as a child how you closed your eyes and you could pretend that everything went away? It never went away! The One Truth Today is that there is no secret place and no secret way that you can hide from God. God is everywhere in the heavens and the earth, and in fact He is close at hand right now! Have you been trying to hide from God and pretend that He does not exist? Have you closed you eyes and ears to the Gospel? Guess what you are not a child anymore! Just because you have refused to acknowledge God and His Word does not mean you have escaped Him at all! YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN NOT HIDE!

The Lord fills the heavens and the earth, and He is everywhere at all times. Everywhere you look you will be able to see His handiwork. It is evident in the Sun the Moon and the Stars as well as the earth. Man has attempted to leave the earth, it is feeble and miniscule in comparison the God"s majesty. It is the same as you attempting to escape God and His presence, feeble and ineffective. You can run from yourself and you can run from God but you will not find any place to hide. God is in control of everything, including your life. Open your eyes and stop fooling yourself. No matter where you go, there is God. The reason that you are afraid is that even though you have not admitted it God is to be feared and when you learn to fear God, that will be the beginning of your wisdom. YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN NOT HIDE!

In Second Thessalonians 1: 7-9 we read that when the Lord Jesus Christ appears from heaven, he will bring judgement on those who do not know Him and who have refused to obey Him. They will be punished with eternal separation and damnation. Every non believer has a small voice speaking to his spirit when he hears this message. Are you listening? You know in your heart that God exists and that He is your Saviour. You have all been warned. That empty feeling in the pit or your stomach and the reason that you are worried and uneasy is that you know that you are incomplete without the Lord. The spirit of God is speaking to you right now, are you going to close your eyes and ears to the Lord? Do you want to get away from this message? YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN NOT HIDE!

THE DAY OF THE LORD'S RETURN!

THESSALONIANS 5: 2

"For you know quite well that THE DAY OF THE LORD'S RETURN will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night!"

If anyone tells you that this is the day that the Lord will return to the earth, you will know for sure that it is not true. At a time when no one will expect it, the Lord Jesus Christ will return, and no one will know the day or the hour! In our One Truth Today, it is compared to when a thief comes in the night. We never expect it and we never know precisely when it will happen, for if we did we would stop it from happening and we would be awake. Do you ever stop in your little secure world and wonder when the Lord will return for His Church? If everything is going quite well and you feel secure and at peace you will never expect the end of the world! As believer's we would welcome this event, but if you are not Saved the idea will cause an uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach and you will be nervous and afraid. There is a good reason!

Just as your life will end, this world will come to an end. It does not matter if you believe or do not believe this, you need to repent, for the end of your world is coming! Up until the moment of THE DAY OF THE LORD'S RETURN, every person has a choice to make. You can accept the free gift of eternal life and Salvation from the Lord, or you can reject the Lord and disrespect Him. Not making any choice is the equivalent of rejecting the gift that has been offered to you!

God has not and will not condemn you, you have condemned yourself. Your choice and your consequence. The mistake is eternal and final and will cost you your life and condemn you to damnation forever. You will not be able to blame God, you can only blame yourself! REPENT!

There will be no more time for anyone to repent and believe the Lord and His Word. He will return unexpectedly and the World as we know it will end. There will be no escape from the wrath that will come. God's children will be Saved and join him in Heaven. There was no need for anyone to perish, but each made a free will choice and the Lord will honor that choice. The consequence is separation from God forever. Your life and your death are in your hands and you are responsible for your choice. If you are not saved, Today is the Day of Salvation. You can repent and ask for the Lord's Mercy and Grace right now! You can believe and open the door to your heart and ask the Lord to come in and dwell with you right now! Now is the accepted time. It may be that this is the last time you will have a chance, before THE DAY OF THE LORD'S RETURN!

WORKING FOR THE LORD!

COLOSSIANS 3:23

"Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you are WORKING FOR THE LORD rather than for people."

Who do you work for? Who is your boss? Most people think that the boss is the person that they work under. Many smart business men know that their clients and their customers are their boss. After all who is paying everyones checks? In this day and age, bosses and companies come and go and you need a program to know the players. If you were a slave or a bond servant you would know who the boss is. They would own you and control you in every way. The One Truth Today reminds us who we should always be working for. Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you are WORKING FOR THE LORD, rather than for people.

No matter what you do for a living and no matter what your tasks are, do it with all your heart, mind, body and soul, as unto the Lord. In reality you do not work for any man or even for yourself. The reason is that no man, or even yourself can Save you and give you eternal life! Only the Lord can give you the free gift of eternal life, you can not earn it. It is the reward for those who believe in Him. Our true compensation will come in Heaven and not here on earth. You can not accumulate anything here on earth and take it with you when you go. We come into this world with nothing and we leave with the same thing. You see in the end you are WORKING FOR THE LORD!

If the Lord is your real master then you will want to do willingly and enthusiastically whatever will make Him happy. You should want to please the Lord and never any earthly boss or master. They will never have authority over your soul, or your final destination. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, because He is your master and your Saviour. That is who we need to respect and revere. So if someone asks you, "who is your boss"? You need to give the correct answer. Rather than work for people, do everything as though you are WORKING FOR THE LORD!

THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN!

COLOSSIANS 3: 2-3

"THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Jesus Christ in God!"

Do you look up to the heavens and think about your eternal life with Jesus Christ? Are you sure that this is just your temporary home and that you are a pilgrim passing through? What is more important to you, your life here on the earth or your place in the eternal kingdom? As a Christian are you sure where you will spend eternity? Have you learned how short your time here on earth really is? Are you looking up with anticipation and welcoming your redemption that could come at any time? One way to determine your attitude is to consider the amount of time you spend trying to accumulate wealth and possessions here on earth. Are you trying to build up your treasure here or in heaven? Remember you came to earth with nothing and you will leave with nothing. Your real home and your real treasure is in Heaven. THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN!

Your affections should be turned to the things above and the eternal kingdom of heaven. Our minds and our energies need to be focused on the Heavenly Kingdom and not the things of this earth. Your life of flesh will end and your spiritual life is the only one that will go on into eternity. YOUR REAL LIFE IS HIDDEN WITH JESUS CHRIST IN GOD. We are all ready certain of one thing, our end here on earth. The ratio is one life to one death. We should be focused on our new life and our new home. THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN.

Whenever bad things happen here on earth, some one will ask why a good God will allow bad things to happen. Why do babies die and planes crash and earthquakes happen. Make your own list. The correct answer is that this is a temporary life and instead of focusing on the things of this world we are to focus on the Heavenly Kingdom. Do not think horizontally but instead think vertically. Do not think about this short life span but recognize that you will be spending eternity in perfection instead of here. Look up for your redemption draws nigh. Death has no victory and the grave has no real sting, if you are a child of God. Do not be earth bound but, THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN!
