CALLING ALL SINNERS!

1 TIMOTHY 1:15

"This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners and I am the worst of them all."

Do you know that you are a sinner? The bible teaches us that EVERYONE has sinned and come short of the glory of God. That would include you. Are there some sins that are so bad one can not be saved? Are your sins so evil and heinous that God will never forgive you? Paul confessed that he had broken the law and been rebellious and had even defiled that which was holy. Jesus had mercy on Paul because he did it in ignorance and unbelief. He will have mercy on you also!

Do you think you are the worst sinner of them all? Have you committed sins that are so evil and heinous that you believe you will never be forgiven? You will have to do more than break God's laws. The message that Paul brings here is true and worthy of your full acceptance; Jesus came into this world to save ALL SINNERS! You must acknowledge you are a sinner and that you need a saviour, and accept the free gift of life by asking Jesus Christ into your heart.

Jesus used Paul, who claimed to be the worst of all sinners, and He can use you too. By showing mercy to you the Lord displays His long suffering and patience and unconditional love. The greater the sinner who comes to the Lord, the greater the example of encouragement to others who also believe they are the worst sinners in the world. The Lord wants you to know He came into the world to save you. He is calling, can you hear Him? CALLING ALL SINNERS!

PURE HEART, CLEAR CONSCIENCE, GENUINE FAITH

1 TIMOTHY 1:5

"All believer's should be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and a genuine faith."

What is the object and purpose of instruction in the Lord's Word? What do we as believer's hope to attain in accepting Jesus Christ into our lives? The correct answer is that we are to be filled with love. We are to obtain a pure heart, a clear conscience and a genuine faith in God that is clearly demonstrated by our love for one another.

We are to avoid that which will not help us live a life of faith in God. We are to stop listening to anyone who teaches what is contrary to the Lord's truth. We are to avoid endless discussions about myths and spiritual pedigrees. Do not give importance to endless genealogies, fables, or mere speculations which teach other different doctrines. Many have missed the mark and wandered into vain discussions and arguments and purposeless talk. If you are confronted by someone who is not filled with love, but is argumentative and teaching false doctrine, walk away!

The purpose of Godly instruction and its object is that you are filled with the Love of God and become Christ like. You must project unconditional love to everyone. Believer's are filled with a love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience and a genuine faith. If your church is leading you there, then thank the Lord. If your church is not leading you there, then walk away!

THERE IS NO WHERE TO HIDE

JEREMIAH 23:24

"Can anyone hide from God in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and the earth, says the Lord?"

God asks us this question, "Am I a God who is only close at hand"? No, God is far away at the same time. In fact, God is everywhere and present at all times. This fact gives full meaning to the phrase, you can run, but you can not hide. It is proved in the saying, you can run from yourself, but there is no where to hide! Are you trying to hide from yourself or God? Have you refused to know God and His Word? You can refuse to learn about the Good News of God but that will not change it at all! Your choice, your consequence.

The Lord fills the heavens and the earth and is everywhere at all times. Everywhere you look you can see God's handiwork. It is evident in the sun, moon, planets and stars. Even though man has made attempts to leave this planet earth, his attempts have been feeble. If you try to escape God your attempts will be even more feeble and the consequences to you eternal. No matter where you go there will be no place to hide from God!

In Second Thessalonians 1:7-9 we read that when the Lord Jesus Christ appears from heaven, He will bring judgement on those who do not know Him, and refuse to obey His Good News. They will be punished with eternal destruction and separation from God and His power. In every non believer there is a still small voice speaking to you and warning you of these truths.
If you feel an empty pit in your soul and that you are not complete, that is the Spirit of God trying to save you from personal destruction. It requires a personal choice to accept Jesus Christ. You can run all you want, THERE IS NO WHERE TO HIDE!

GOD'S WILL FOR YOU!

THESSALONIANS 5:16-17-18

"Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."

Are you always joyful? Do you pray without ceasing? Are you thankful no matter what the circumstances are in your life? Most of us will have to answer no to these questions. Yet we all want to know what God's will is for our life, or how we can be in God's will each day! The closer you come to the scripture above, the closer you will be to God's will. We need to make a commitment to rejoice in the Lord always, and be joyful. We need to never stop praying and look to the Lord first for everything. We need to give thanks to the Lord for everything and at all times.

We should be happy in our faith. Do not forget we were lost in our sins and dead eternally, until the Lord Jesus Christ saved us and gave us eternal and perfected life in Heaven. This is the gift that keeps on giving and it is the reason we should keep on praying and thanking the Lord and rejoicing always!

Finally, be thankful in all circumstances and in everything. This may seem difficult in a time of death, illness or calamity, but we must never loose sight of our overall gain of eternal life that is perfect and without weeping, wailing, or gnashing of teeth! What happens on earth is only for a moment. The Lord has a perfect plan for our lives that we may not understand at any given moment, but He will reveal it to us in time. When you look back now you can see God's hand in your life and the same will be true in your future. Be joyful always, pray without ceasing and be thankful in all circumstances. THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU!

WHEN WILL THE LORD RETURN?

THESSALONIANS 5:2

"For you know quite well that the day of the Lord's return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night."

Most people feel very secure and that all is well. Most people think there is peace and safety right now, but are they right? At a time you do not expect the day of the Lord's return will come, unexpectedly and in a moment. Even if you think this is not the time or season, the Lord may still come, even today. It will be unforeseen and sudden, when we least expect it. Death and ruin will come to the unbeliever at the judgement, and it will be to late to make the right choice and accept the free gift of life from Jesus. If you are counting on there being time for you to bend your knee and bow and confess that Jesus Christ is your Lord God, you could be making the mistake of your life. There will be no escape for you!

Up until the moment of the Lord's return we each have an individual choice to accept His gift of life. Not choosing to do so is a decision, just as not accepting the Lord is your decision. God will not have condemned you, you will have done so to yourself. You make the decision and the consequences are yours, so do not blame God.

When the Lord returns unexpectedly and suddenly, there will be not time for you to make a choice. There will be no escape from the wrath of God to those who are not His children. Today is the day of salvation and you can make the choice right this instant to accept Jesus into your heart and let Him be your Saviour. Now is the accepted time. Do not wait, for we do not know when the Lord will return for His saints. It is your decision but remember we do not know WHEN THE LORD WILL RETURN!

REPENT SINNER!

LUKE 13:3

"You will perish too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God!"

REPENT SINNERS, THE END IS NEAR! Have you seen this sign in a cartoon or in real life? Usually there is a joke connected with this, but this is not a funny statement, it is a true statement! It may be a clever or humorous attempt, but lives are at stake when they fail to see or hear the real and true message behind it.

In God's timing it is always true to say to a mortal man that the end is near, or close at hand. We are here for just a moment, or the twinkling or an eye in God's world. Death happens to us all, after our time here on earth, the judgement comes. If you have not turned to God and repented of your sin, you will suffer the second death and you will perish in everlasting separation from God. It is not a joke, it is the word of the Lord and a true statement.

You do not have to perish, and you can live forever with the Lord, if you repent and turn to Him. To repent means to turn around from your sinful ways and instead walk toward the Lord. Make your path straight to the Lord. You are responsible for your own choices and you can not blame God if you make the choice to reject Him and remain in your sin. The Lord does not want anyone to perish or be lost and He wants us all to accept His free gift of Life. REPENT SINNER!
