NO PRETENDERS, REAL LOVE!

ROMANS 12: 9-10

"Do not just PRETEND to love others, REALLY LOVE them. Hate what is wrong, Hold fast to that which good. Love one another with brotherly affection, honor one another above yourself."

True love is what we all look for. We do want a PRETEND love. We want the REAL LOVE, the real thing! God knows what is in each persons heart and He knows if your love of others is REAL LOVE OR PRETEND LOVE. Others will know what is in your heart and true love will come out! You can not mock God and you should not mock people. When you wear a mask of love as the hypocrites do you will find that the mask will eventually come off and your acting will be over. The way you love your children is the way you should love others. That way you can hold fast to what is good. You will learn to honor one another and have genuine brotherly affection for them. Real love is true love!

If you love sincerely and hold fast to what is good then you will quite naturally hate that which is evil. You will come to loathe that which is ungodly and wicked. If you are pretending and your love is not real then you will be able to compromise your honor and your righteousness.

If your love for God is not real, He knows it and others will inevitably come to a knowledge of your hypocrisy to. True believer's can see through those who are insincere and pretending in the end. God will tell you at the time of judgement, to "depart from me, for I never knew you".

Those who really love will also do honor to one another. They will have genuine affection that will be apparent to those they love. NO PRETENDERS, REAL LOVE!

We are all part of one family, we are brothers and sisters in the Lord. We are all His children and as such we need to hold fast to that which is good for our family. Honor others before even yourself. Show honest and faithful affection and real love. Avoid those who have hatred in their hearts and are evil, for they have no real love in their hearts, they are just pretending!

The Lord will be delighted when we hear and then listen to His Word and obey His commandments. When we honor and love others we are Honoring and Loving God. No pretenders will pass this test. NO PRETENDERS, REAL LOVE!

HOW IMPOSSIBLE!

ROMANS 11: 33

"Oh how great are God's riches and wisdom and knowledge! HOW IMPOSSIBLE

it is for us to understand His decisions and ways."

Here is a task that is doomed before it begins. Try to have the mind of God. Try to understand His decisions and His ways. God's mind and His ways are way above our ways and we have no chance of approaching His Omnipotence. That is why so many humans question Him. Why would a "good God" allow evil in the world? Why does God allow little babies to die or suffer?

Why is there suffering, disease and death? The One Truth Today has your answer. HOW IMPOSSIBLE it is for us to understand His decisions and His ways. That is why your faith and trust in God as considered your righteousness.

God's wisdom is unfathomable, unsearchable and inscrutable. His ways are a mystery to us and they are not discoverable. God's mind is infinite, our is not! You would have to be equal to God to understand the mind of God and you are not. If you are stubborn and rebellious then you may question God and His ways. You will never understand His nature. What is it that God wants from us, to worship Him and Love Him and Fear Him. He wants us to accept Him and believe in Him with all of our heart. God wants to be the answer to all of our questions and concerns. Remember, He knows everything about us and knew us before we were born. HOW IMPOSSIBLE.

Love Jesus Christ the Lord God with all of your heart, mind, body and soul. Seek Him first in everything that you do. Your desire should be for His kingdom and His righteousness. Acknowledge that He is God and you are His child, not His equal. Remember that our journey here on earth is only temporary and that our goal is Heaven. We are just pilgrims passing through to our eternal destination. We can never know or understand how great the riches and wisdom of God are. That is why it is hard for us to understand His decisions and His ways. You could even say, HOW IMPOSSIBLE!

THOSE LEAD ASTRAY BY DRINK CAN NOT BE WISE!

PROVERBS 20: 1

"Wine produces mockers, alcohol leads to brawls. THOSE LEAD ASTRAY BY DRINK CAN NOT BE WISE!"

Everyone has experienced someone with a drinking problem. Alcohol in all of its forms can lead to destructive behavior that ruins a persons life. Our One Truth Today points out that in the end wine produces mockers. Strong drink, in the form of alcohol, leads to brawls. These kinds of spirits cause people to lose their Godly spirituality. Many ask if all wine leads to mockery. We know that the Lord made wine from water for a wedding feast and can therefore conclude that wine in moderation and for special occasions is permissible. Strong drink is addressed in the Bible and it is to be avoided. Many have concluded that using any alcohol can only lead to trouble and it is wiser to avoid it at all. Yet the Lord passed the wine cup to His disciples at the last supper, so we know it has a place in the life of man. Jesus Christ does not prohibit the use of wine for certain reasons or occasions.

The issue is clear, the excessive use of wine and the use of strong drinks of alcohol can lead anyone astray. It is not wise to drink in excess or as a habit. That attitude can lead to mockery and brawling. THOSE LEAD ASTRAY BY DRINK CAN NOT BE WISE! Alcohol causes people to lose their inhibitions and do unspiritual things if taken in excess. To those with an addictive personality, even a small amount can begin a cycle of harm and they need to avoid alcohol totally. Those lead astray by drinking are not wise. Becoming a slave to a habit of continuous drinking is taking a path away from God, and that is a sin.

If we toast a couple at a wedding feast does this mean we will become mockers and brawlers?

If you Know, Love and Fear God, it will not. Paul even suggest that we use wine for our stomachs sake if the occasion should arise. Is he wrong? Wine in small amounts and for special occasions is acceptable to Jesus Christ. Excessive use is not acceptable to God. All people can not be punished for the addictive personality of those that abuse everything. We need to respect the views of those who have read and understood the Word of God and we need to sympathize with those who struggle with an excessive nature. We should not be stumbling block to those we know have an addiction. We are all responsible for our own choices and THOSE LEAD ASTRAY BY DRINK CAN NOT BE WISE!

YOU WILL BE SAVED!

ROMANS 10: 9

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED!"

Our One Truth Today is for non believer's who wonder how they can be Saved by the Lord Jesus Christ. How do you obtain a personal relationship with the God who made you? How do you escape from a life of sin, death and damnation? It is not complicated or ritualistic. It does not require a special person or intercessor. No you alone are responsible for the choice to allow the Lord to Save you. Recognize that you are dead in your sin and that you need a Savior, that will give you new and eternal life. There is only one person and that one is Jesus Christ the Lord God. You have to be " born again", to avoid the second death and receive eternal life. IF YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE LORD, AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU WILL BE SAVED!

There are only two choices available to any person. You make the choice and you alone are responsible for that choice. The consequences to your choice will be totally different. You are either for Jesus Christ the Lord God or you are against Him. You will be Saved by the Lord or you will condemn yourself by rejecting and not choosing the God who can Save you. You either respect God or you reject God. You either obtain new and eternal life or you choose damnation and the second and eternal death. You will either spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord or you will spend eternity separated from God and in Hell! YOU WILL BE SAVED, or you will choose not to be Saved. Your choice, your consequence.

Now you know and have been instructed on how you can be Saved. Ignorance is no excuse. You

have been chosen by God to be His child. Have you accepted Him or rejected Him? You have a choice to acknowledge Jesus Christ with your lips and your heart. You have a choice to believe or not that God raised Him from the dead and that Jesus Christ is the Lord of your life. You have a choice to accept or reject His Salvation for you. Every Christian has gone through the same process as an individual. Your Salvation is individual and there is no collective Salvation or Salvation by proxy. Bend you knee and open your heart, then confess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is the Lord God and He was raised from the dead to Save you! Choose today whom you will serve. Yourself or your God! Choose Christ and YOU WILL BE SAVED!

NO LONGER SLAVES TO SIN!

ROMANS 6: 6

"We know that our sinful selves were crucified with Christ, so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are NO LONGER SLAVES TO SIN!"

We have heard about slaves in ancient times. We have read about slavery in early America. Most of us find slavery to be unnatural and undemocratic. Our One Truth Today points out that all of us have been slaves! Did you know that you were a slave to the devil before Jesus Christ the Lord God Saved you from your sins and your slavery? All believer's have been crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. When you are born again you have a new life and a new heart. You have been freed from slavery by the intervention of the Lord. We are NO LONGER SLAVES TO SIN!

Only the Lord can break the power of sin over our lives. Jesus Christ can do this because He is without sin. When He died on the cross and shed His blood for us He was punished for all of our sins and took our place and our judgement. When He redeemed us as the victor over death and sin the devil lost his power in our lives. We can overcome our sinful nature and take on the nature of God. Instead of serving the devil we can now serve the Lord. Instead of being an instrument of evil we are now an instrument of righteousness. We died to our old nature and became a new person. We died to our sins and were born to eternal life. NO LONGER SLAVES TO SIN!

Are you still a slave to sin today? Do you keep repeating the same evil acts every day? Are you bound with the chains of the devil? Have you lost control of your life and body? You can serve the devil or you can serve the Lord, but you will have to serve somebody. If you need a Savior then you need to open the door of your heart to Jesus Christ and invite Him in to dwell with you and give you new life. You need to be crucified with Christ, so that sin can lose its power over your life. Ask the Lord to save you right now. If you do you can also say that I am NO LONGER A SLAVE TO SIN!

ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD!

ROMANS 8: 28

"For we know that God causes ALL THINGS TO WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD,

for those who Love God and are called according to His purpose for them!"

Our One Truth Today is difficult for some to understand and believe. When you are sick in bed and feeling terrible you may question how this is good. If you have cancer and have had a surgery you may be uncertain as to your future. How can this be a good thing to God? If someone you love has been taken from you it may be hard to understand how ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD, to those that love God, and are called according to His purpose. Perhaps God did not mean "all things" or "everything". Maybe there are exceptions to this truth or maybe God is wrong. Think again, God is never wrong and never makes mistakes. His mind is above our minds and His ways are not our ways. God sees the end from the beginning and we do not!

You can be certain that God knows what He is doing. Remember that God will be with believer's until the end of time. He has a plan and a purpose for our lives and it is for our Good! The premise is that you Know God and that you have been called to Him according to His purpose. You have been Saved by God and He has given us eternal life in perfection. Our thoughts need to be vertical and upward toward God. Do not think that our life here on earth, in the horizontal plane, is forever. We are just passing through this life and are pilgrims here on earth. Remember that to be absent from this sick or diseased body is to be present with the Lord. ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD!

When a baby dies it is taken into the bosom of the Lord. When we die we are Saved by God. It is not a loss, it is a win. When soldiers who are believer's die defending this country or the truth they are rewarded in Heaven. When bad things happen to "good people" or Gods people they are Saved by God. God will never leave us or desert us. If you Know, Love and Fear God you will understand and have the Faith to know, ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to those who Love God and are called according to His purpose.

BELIEVE IN THE GOD!

ROMANS 4: 17

"BELIEVE IN THE GOD, who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing!"

What god do you believe in? Is it Buddha, Confucius, Mohammad, or one of the many other gods that man has worshiped over the centuries? Some think the sun, moon or stars are their god. Some people have worshiped animals, such as monkeys and cows. Atheists and Humanists do not believe in an all powerful God and think of themselves as god. Our One Truth Today tells us clearly who you need to believe in. BELIEVE IN THE GOD WHO BRINGS THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE AND CREATES NEW THINGS OUT OF NOTHING! There is only One God who can speak and bring a Universe into existence. There is only One God who can create something new out of nothing. Can any of the other gods even create dirt? The other gods deal with what all ready exists and they have never brought anything to life or brought the dead back to life! Which God should you believe in?

Humanism is the most prominent religion of our day. Any man who thinks that they are equal to God must be able to create something physical and tangible from nothing. They must be able to save themselves and others and give life to those who are dead. Does that describe anyone that you know of? Only a fool says in their heart that there is no God! It is insane to think that any man or collection of men could make this Universe or give life and save life from death. Men can only work with what God has given them. If you are gods then make a new element or even create dirt out of nothing. Only THE GOD can make and keep promises of eternal life. BELIEVE IN THE GOD WHO BRINGS THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE AND WHO CREATES NEW THINGS OUT OF NOTHING!

You need to believe in and depend on THE GOD who can Save you! You need to worship THE GOD who has eternal life, that he promises those who believe in Him. Do not be fooled by false gods and false prophets. They have no power and they will lead you on a path to death and destruction. Only THE GOD can offer and deliver new life to those that die here on earth. No false god has even made a declaration that comes close. Only Jesus Christ the Lord God has promised new life and that eternal to those that believe in Him. If your god can not save you then why would you worship them? BELIEVE IN THE GOD WHO BRINGS THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE AND WHO CREATES NEW THINGS OUT OF NOTHING!
