I HAVE ALL THAT I NEED!

PSALM 23: 1

"The Lord is my Shepard, I HAVE ALL THAT I NEED!"

What is it that you want out of your life here on earth? Do you want wealth, fame and possessions? Is it your desire to lack nothing and have everything you want? Do you want perpetual good health and happiness? Do you want to avoid hard work and have others do your work for you? Is your motto, "what about me and what about my needs"? If that describes you then the One Truth Today is the most important thing that you can learn in your entire life!

Your life here on earth is not all about you! Your life here on earth is all about Jesus Christ, the Lord God. Are you one of the wandering sheep or do you have a Shepard? Remember that if the Lord is your Shepard, you can say with assurance, I HAVE ALL THAT I NEED!

The reason you are here and came into being is to know, love, and serve the Lord. Your reason for being is to Worship Jesus Christ the Lord God. When you surrender your life, and will, to the Lord, He will become your Shepard. Then and only then will you lack nothing. You will be given eternal life with the Lord God in perfection. David affirms this in the 23rd Psalm. If you are one of God's lambs and He is your Shepard, you will lack nothing for eternity. God will feed you, and shield you and Save you and give you new and eternal life in perfection. Your focus should be on the things eternal and not the things of this earth, which are temporary and disappear. No matter how bad things in this life on earth appear, the promise is the same to all of the Lord's sheep. You will be able to know and say, "I HAVE ALL THAT I NEED"!

It is so comforting to allow Jesus Christ to lead us. He will lead us to lie down in fresh tender pastures and beside peaceful still waters. He will give us eternal rest and we will be in perfection without the imperfections of this world. He will lead us in righteousness and give us new life. He will perfect our soul. Even though we may suffer sickness, poverty, death or disease we do not have to have any fear. God will Save us, protect us, and comfort us forever!

When you know that, you have the promises of God. When you believe in Him then you can say with assurance, I HAVE ALL THAT I NEED!

SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN!

MATTHEW 18: 21-22

"Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me, seven times?
No, not seven times, but, SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN, Jesus replied!"

Has someone offended you? How many times has the same person offended you? If you have someone who has sinned against you or offended you on numerous occasions, the question arises, how many times should I forgive that person? Left to our own wisdom we might come to a much different answer than the One Truth Today. The Lord tells us in this scripture that we must forgive that person, seventy time seven, or in other words as many times as it takes. In case you are wondering, the Lord forgives you an infinite number of times for the sins you have committed against Him. That is the way you would want it for yourself and that is the way it should be when think about others. How many times have you sinned against God or committed an offense in the sight of the Lord?

It is a wonderful Truth to know that God forgives us of all of our sins and offenses. It does not matter what the count is. Four Hundred and Ninety times is a lot to forgive one person in your life but the number should be infinite if you have unconditional love. The number is not important it is the concept. The Lord expects us to treat others the way we would want to be treated. The Lord expects us to be more and more like Him every day. We are to follow and walk in His path. We are to forgive and forget just as He does with us. How are you doing?

The way you handle others is the way the Lord may handle you. The measure that you judge with is the measure you will be judged with. Do onto others what you would like them to do unto you! Think of someone you have not forgiven, right now. If you expect God to have mercy on you then you had better have mercy on them! If you continue to carry the burden of your unforgiving then you will suffer. Lay those burdens down at the foot of Jesus Christ. Do it right now. Forgive and forget. Even if it takes SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN!

ONE, TWO, THREE!

MATTHEW 18: 15

"If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won the person back."

Another believer has wronged you, what should you do? The One Truth Today tells us to go to them privately and show them the offense. One should not compound the offense by telling it to others. That will make it more difficult to win the other person back. The best way to respond is to use the Lord's plan, it is as easy as one, two, three. Step one: go the person that offended you privately and tell them they have offended you and what the offense is. If they listen and agree with you then you will have won the person back. It is important that you not tell others about the offense as it will only inflame the problem. You actually commit an offense by gossiping. If step one is not successful then you proceed to step two!

Step two: A second time you will go to the person that offended you, only this time you will take one or two believer's with you to discuss the offense. If the person agrees with you and confesses the offense you have both won. If not, the offense has been confirmed by one or two others. If the offender refuses to listen to your position or disagrees with you, the matter should still remain private between the parties. If step two has failed, then you need to go to step three!

Step three: It is time to take the matter to the pastor of your church. If they agree that an offense has been committed, and that you have acted appropriately in following steps one and two, then you can proceed. Implied in this is that the offender has refused to listen to you and to the others. The offender is now acting like a non believer. You will separate yourself from the matter and allow a third party to arbitrate, in this case your pastor. It is your obligation to forgive them of any offense, but you are not obligated to continue the relationship. Just as the Lord forgives all of our sins, we must be prepared to forgive those who sin against us. You must be a shining light to others. Now it is in the hands of the pastor to mediate and facilitate the two believer's to come together again. You will have peace regardless of the outcome because you have followed the Lord's plan. It is as easy as ONE, TWO, THREE!

HOPE IS IN THE LORD!

PSALM 146: 5

"Joyful are those who have God as their helper, whose HOPE IS IN THE LORD,
there God!"

In the recent campaign for President of the U.S., the slogan "Hope you can believe in", was used.
Well how is that going for you and the country? The One Truth Today tells us the Truth, our
HOPE IS IN THE LORD! Are you a joyful person? Who do you trust and place your hope in? It had better not be a human being who is all too mortal. Mans spirit leaves his earthly body and then it returns to the dust. If you place your hope in one like that there will be no real eternal help for you. Man's bodies perish along with their plans and hopes. There is no Salvation in any man, only Jesus Christ the Lord God can Save you. HOPE IS IN THE LORD!

If you want to be blessed, joyful, and to live eternally, make sure your HOPE IS IN THE LORD!
Only the Lord who made the heavens and the earth along with man, is capable of fulfilling your hopes and aspirations. God who has no beginning and no end stands as each generation of men pass. We need to make the right choice and place our hope in someone who can give us a joy and a peace. If we accept and believe in the Lord God, only He can Save us and give us eternal life.
That is why the Psalm tells us, "joyful are those who have God as their helper, whose HOPE IS IN THE LORD, their God"!

If you are a prisoner, if you are hungry or oppressed, if you are lost and can not find your way, then you need to listen to the One Truth Today. If you are blind, or deaf, or crippled, or you are carrying a burden that is just to heavy, then listen to the Lord! There is only one way and one path and one truth that can solve your dilemma. If you want to be made whole and achieve eternal life in perfection you need to understand that only Jesus Christ, the Lord God can Save you. The living God will have mercy on you and forgive you of your sins and give you eternal life if you trust and believe in Him. You can rest assured that He keeps His promises and that if you are wise, you know that HOPE IS IN THE LORD! To have Joy, let God help you!

THE CLOSER YOU LISTEN!

MARK 4: 24

"Pay close attention to what you hear. THE CLOSER YOU LISTEN, the more understanding you will be given. Those who listen and carefully consider my
teaching will receive even more!"

You have to be careful what you listen to. When you listen you have to be careful and listen closely. The One Truth Today tells us, this is the way that we can gain more understanding. If you carefully consider the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Lord God, you receive even more and more understanding! Are you listening, what did you hear? When it comes to the Word of God, we have to measure our thoughts and study to receive the full measure of knowledge and understanding that is offered. If we listen carefully and consider the messages of God we will be given even more then we could hope for or expect!

The measure or standard that you give to listening to the Word of God and paying attention, is the standard or measure of what you will derive from the study. There is a promise of God here.
More will be given to those who are the most diligent in listening and understanding. We are told that to one to whom much has been given, even more will be added. We are also told that whoever does just a little listening , even that which he has, will be taken away. The rewards are commensurate to the effort, just as it is in so many things in life. If you want understanding
and wisdom, pay close attention to the Lord and listen carefully to what you hear. Carefully consider the teaching and you will receive even more than you expect.

If you have an ear, listen to what the Spirit of God is saying to you. If you want wisdom, understanding and knowledge, you need to get closer and deeper into the Word of God. You must pay greater and closer attention to what you hear and carefully consider the teaching of the Lord. The more that you get into the Word of the Lord , the more you will understand and the wiser you will become. If you do not listen to the Lord even what little understanding that you feel you have will be taken away from you . THE CLOSER YOU LISTEN, the more you will understand God!

EVERLASTING LIFE!

MATTHEW 16: 24-25

"If any of you want to be my follower you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life you will lose it.
If you give up your life for my sake, you will find EVERLASTING LIFE!"

Do you believe in EVERLASTING LIFE? Do you believe in Heaven? Is there an eternity and where will you spend yours? In our One Truth Today, Jesus Christ gives us directions on how to have EVERLASTING LIFE! It does not matter whether you believe in eternity or not, your soul will spend eternity in one of two destinations. The rel event question is where will you spend eternity? You can find life and that eternal with God on the one hand, or you can be separated from God for eternity and spend everlasting life in Hell as one of the damned. You can reject God and keep your selfish ways and lose your life, or you can take up the Cross of Jesus Christ and follow Him with the promise of a place in Heaven and EVERLASTING LIFE!

Today we are encouraged to make the right decision. The Lord wants us to become His followers, take up His Cross, and turn from our selfish ways. By accepting His free gift of life we are taking the only path that will lead us to eternal life in Heaven. If you try to hang on to your selfish life and ways, you will lose your life eternally. We must deny ourselves and our interests and instead take on the ways and path of the Lord. We are to do the will of the Father in Heaven and forget our own selfish interests. You can not Save yourself and neither can any other man.
Jesus Christ is life and without Him you will lose yours eternally and be separated from God!

If you are willing to give up your life for His sake the Lord promises eternal life in Heaven with Him. Now that is a blessing worth waiting for and accepting. The Lord offers perfection and everlasting peace. This is a free gift which can not be purchased at any price. Believe on the Lord and He will Save you. What good would it profit us if we gained the whole world and lost our eternal souls? You can not exchange your wealth for eternal life in Heaven. The choice is up to each individual and the consequences are clear. Reject the Lord and be separated from Him forever, or accept the Lord, take up His Cross and follow Him. What is your choice. As for me
I desire EVERLASTING LIFE!

THE GLORY OF GOD!

PSALM 19: 1-4

"The heavens proclaim THE GLORY OF God. The skies display His craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak. Night after night they make Him known. They speak without a sound or a word; their voice is never heard. The message has gone throughout the earth and their words to all the world."

Have you ever encountered someone who denies the existence of God? In today's secular world this is all together common occurrence. They often want a sign from God or some tangible proof that there is a God. Whenever you meet someone like that, ask them to go out at night to a dark secluded spot and lay on their back and look up at the sky. What a glorious sight can be seen in the heavens. The moon, the stars, and some planets. The Universe is spread out before them. The display is silent but the effect is deafening. The sky speaks without a word or a sound because it has no voice, but the message goes out to the whole world including the non believer!
The heavens proclaim THE GLORY OF GOD!

Who created this show and placed the wondrous display in the Heavens? Who is proclaiming His Glory and craftsmanship? Who is speaking to us night after night and day after day? Surely no one believes that a man or collection of men could have done this! If not man then who did it?
There are many contrived explanations as to how the Universe was formed but not one of them has stood the test of time and they require more faith than the actual truth. The One Truth Today contains the answer all men look for. Reread the above scripture! The true and correct answer to how the Heavens were formed is they are THE GLORY OF GOD!

In our hearts we know this to be true and the Psalm merely confirms it! The Bible is the Truth and contains the answer to your every question. If you have never come to a Saving Grace and accepted the Lord into your life then you will always have questions and never have answers. To believer's, this is the Truth of God. The heavens proclaim His Glory and speak volumes to us!
So if you have a question about God or how you got here or what happens after you die Look Up and then Look to the Bible for your answers. There is no mistaking THE GLORY OF GOD, unless you make a wrong choice and refuse to accept the Truth. Take the challenge and test it for yourself, LOOK UP YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWS NIGH!
