LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF THE WISE!

PROVERBS 22: 17-19

"LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF THE WISE; apply your heart to my instruction. It is good to keep the sayings in your heart and always ready on your lips. I am teaching you today so that you will trust in the Lord."

They say we have two ears so that we can listen twice as much as speaking with our one tongue.

Perhaps the most important part of listening is whom you listen to! Spending time with a fool will not make you wise. Spending time with the Word of God and His Prophets will be very instructive. This is particularly true if we apply our heart to God's instruction. We should commit to memory and keep in our hearts the wisdom of the Lord so that it will fall from our lips at the right moment. With this teaching as our foundational truth we will learn to trust in the Lord!

One Truth Today is dedicated to this very premise. We take just one of the wise and instructive scriptures from the Word every day and we bring it your attention. The question, is there any one listening? Is anyone applying the wisdom of God to their heart? Is this instructive to the soul? Are they more likely to be at your beck and call and fall from your lips? The reason for any of this is to teach us to trust in the Lord. LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF WISDOM!

Any time you spend in the Word of God is instructive and useful. The more time you spend, the more you learn and the wiser you become. If you spend time with the wise, you become more like them. The same is true of righteousness, mercy and love. The more you become like Jesus Christ the Lord God the wiser you will be. We all have the choice of how we spend our time and energy and it is not difficult to ascertain what appeals to the individual. Where do you spend you time, and energy. Is it something valuable? If your heart is full of the instruction of the Lord and you apply it to your every day life you will be counted among the wise. You will trust the Lord.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY!

REVELATION 3: 17

"You say, I am rich. I have everything that I want. I do not need a thing. You do not realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked."

Our One Truth Today is directed at those who take pride in their wealth and possessions, and yet are unaware of their true state with God. We all know of an example of someone who depends on their wealth to protect and save them. They may be a king or politician, perhaps one of the 100 wealthiest people in the world. At a minimum they would be millionaires and at the maximum multi-billionaires. If they have never opened their heart and invited Jesus Christ the Lord God into their hearts and accepted Him as their Lord and Master, then they are dead men walking! They may surround themselves with the best possessions of this world, but they are unaware of their true condition and in reality they have nothing!

They do not understand that they came into this world with nothing and they will leave it with nothing. The have not grasped that it will profit them nothing if they gained the whole world and yet lost their eternal soul. They say they are rich but they are poor in spirit. They say they have everything they want, but they will be eternally separated from the God who could Save them. They say they do not need a thing, but they are ignorant about their eternal soul and the need for Salvation from their sins. In fact if they could see themselves from God's prospective they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked sinners who have condemned themselves to eternal damnation because of their choices for wealth as opposed to Salvation.

God knows all things that we do and in particular if we accept or reject Him. You can not be a little pregnant, a little sterile, or a little Christian. Either you are on fire for the Lord or you are cold and lacking in spirit. The Lord spits the lukewarm out of His mouth. His advice is to buy gold from Him that has been purified by fire. Buy white garments from God so you will not be ashamed of your nakedness. Receive the Lord's ointment for your eyes so that you will be able to see. Be diligent and turn from your indifference. Repent and turn around from the path you are on and walk the straight and narrow path that leads to God. When you say you are rich and have everything that you need, those are the words of a fool. If you do not have the Lord.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY!

WHO COULD SURVIVE A RECORD OF THEIR SINS?

PSALM 130: 3

"Lord, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord could ever survive?"

It is true that everyone must come to the realization that they are sinners, before they realize they need a Savior. Believer's know they have sinned and they feared the consequences. They are counting on the Lord to forgive and forget all of their sins. Praise God that our One Truth Today confirms that Jesus Christ, the Lord God, does not keep a record of our sins! The reason is so simple, no one could ever survive and receive the gift of eternal life. Instead God offers us His forgiveness so that we can learn to fear Him. That is why Christians are counting on the Lord and have put their hope in His Word. In the Lord there is unfailing, unconditional Love for His Children.

The redemption of the Lord overflows those that have accepted Him into their hearts and lives.

Of course the Lord is Omniscient and knows everything about us and everything that we have done. That includes our crying out to Him to forgive us of our sins and to come and dwell in our hearts. Unconditional Love allows the Lord to forgive and forget all of our sins and to redeem us from certain death. We do not deserve, nor have we earned this forgiveness but it is the free gift of God to those who believe and call on His name. Because of the Lord's forgiveness we learn to respect and fear our Lord and Master. If the Lord did not forgive, WHO COULD SURVIVE A RECORD OF THEIR SINS?

Our hope is in the Lord because there is unfailing love and mercy and forgiveness. His redemption overflows those that belong to Him and we are redeemed from every kind of sin!

We are counting on the Lord for Salvation. We have put our hope in the Lord. We do not fear death and we look forward to eternal life. If this does not describe you, then you need to come to Fear, Know and Love Jesus Christ the Lord God. If you do not respect the Lord and in fact you reject His free gift of eternal life then you have chosen to condemn yourself to eternal separation and damnation. You can not survive any of your sins, and you will never survive the second death. Without Jesus Christ the Lord God, WHO COULD SURVIVE A RECORD OF THEIR SINS?

THE PARADISE OF GOD!

REVELATION 2: 7

"To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in THE PARADISE OF GOD."

You know this is not paradise, right? You know that we are pilgrims passing through this world on our way to our real home in heaven, right? It is easy to know this is not paradise, because there is no perfection in this world, and our lives comes to an end. It is worth mentioning that along with death there is disease and corruption and sin in this world. Those who have opened the door to their hearts, and invited Jesus Christ the Lord God in, have this blessed promise; to everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in THE PARADISE OF GOD! If we remain faithful, even when facing death, God will give us the crown of eternal life! That is our One Truth Today!

What do you think of when Paradise is mentioned in the Word? Can you even begin to imagine what perfection and eternal life mean? Our frame of reference is this world and we only have its imperfection as a comparison. We have a human mind with its human references and so it is not unusual for some to conclude that heaven or paradise is "pie in the sky". How real is the thought of paradise and eating the fruit of the tree of life to you? Can you envision the crown of life upon your head? Are you looking forward with great anticipation and eagerness to enter the gates of THE PARADISE OF GOD? Will you hold out to the very end and be victorious?

Anyone with an ear to hear is told to listen to the Holy Spirit and understand what He is saying. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death. We are all subject to death here on earth, and one thing happens to us all. You have heard it said that those who are born again, a second time, will receive the gift of eternal life from God. You must also know that those who are not born again will die the second death, that leads to eternal separation from God and no entrance into THE PARADISE OF GOD! Which group do you belong in today? We have all made a choice to accept or reject God and His gift of eternal life. What have you chosen?

TURN TO ME NOW WHILE THERE IS TIME!

JOEL 2: 12

" That is why the Lord says, TURN TO ME NOW WHILE THERE IS TIME!

Today can be your day of Salvation and now is the accepted time for you to turn to the Lord!

In fact any day, at any time, you can turn to Jesus Christ the Lord God and accept His free gift of eternal life. There is only one problem that non believer's need to consider and that is our One Truth Today. What if your life ends, regardless of the reason, before you open your heart and invite the Lord to come in and dwell with you? What if there is no time for your Salvation and your life is terminated before you give your heart to God? The Lord says, TURN TO ME NOW WHILE THERE IS TIME! The Lord asks you to give Him your heart, while you can!

There are so many examples of what can happen to each of us that it is almost never ending. If you are a soldier, an officer of the law, a guard, or someone in a dangerous job, then you are well aware that you life can be terminated in an instant. It happens all the time. How many times have you read or heard of a person killed in an accident or natural calamity? It happens all the time. How many have had their senses terminated, while their life goes on, such as a stroke or physical injury or impairment? It happens all the time. Lightning does strike and it does kill in an instant many in its path. If you have not accepted the Lord into your life and if you have not been Saved prior to any of these examples you will die the second death and that eternal. The Lord says, TURN TO ME NOW WHILE THERE IS TIME!

The Lord is slow to anger, and filled with compassion and Love. The Lord does not want any one to perish and He is eager to relent and not punish. He wants to give everyone a blessing and not a curse. The Lord wants you to give Him your hearts and come with weeping, mourning and fasting. He wants you to give him your life, so that He can give you eternal life!

You and you alone are responsible for your choice to accept or reject God. You alone have the right to make the choice to serve the Lord instead of yourself or any false gods. As with all choices, there are consequences and they are the difference between eternal life and death!

The Lord says, TURN TO ME NOW WHILE THERE IS TIME! Your time may be running out!

I AM THE ONE WHO ANSWERS YOUR PRAYERS!

HOSEA 14: 8

"I AM THE ONE WHO ANSWERS YOUR PRAYERS, and cares for you. I am like a tree that is always green; all your fruit comes from me."

Those who are wise will understand what the Lord is telling us in this One Truth Today! If you listen carefully to the Word of God you will obtain discernment! If we walk in the paths of the Lord they will be true and right and the righteous people will live by walking in them! God is telling us that, I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO ANSWERS YOUR PRAYERS! Is it clearly in your mind that all that you have or ever will have comes from God? All the fruit you have or ever will have comes from God! That is why we must stay away from idols and other lesser forms of god that have no power to answer any prayer!

Sinners, who take the wrong path and serve idols and other gods, will stumble and fall and the end of their path leads to eternal death and damnation. Their prayers will not be answered and they will never be cared for or given the free gift of eternal life. The reason is simple, their gods and idols have no power and lead them to a dead end! If you have been called by God the Father, who loves you and keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ, your Salvation is assured!

God is assuring us that, I AM THE ONE WHO ANSWERS YOUR PRAYERS!

The history of Israel can be like the story of our lives. We are taken out of slavery and the domination of false gods and spirits and lead into the promised land, by the Lord. We are promised a land of milk and honey and eternal peace, mercy and love. Like the story of Israel, many times we turn away from the God who Saved us and we lose our first love. We can be corrupted by this world and the evil spirits and false gods. We can start to seek others to pray to and become idolaters. God is warning us how foolish this is. I AM THE ONE WHO ANSWERS YOUR PRAYERS. All your fruit comes from Him. You have nothing without God!

You must hold out to the very end or suffer the fate of those from Israel that turned their back on God and suffered the fate of those who do not remain faithful.

THEY CAN NOT KEEP ON SINNING!

1 John 3: 9

"THEY CAN NOT KEEP ON SINNING, because they are children of God."

If you profess to be a Christian, but you keep on sinning habitually, then you need to digest and understand our One Truth Today! The Word of God tells us that you should not be deceived about this truth. When people do what is right in the sight of God, as Jesus Christ did, they are righteous. When people keep on sinning, after failing to accept the Lord into their heart, it shows that they belong to the devil and not to God! Those who have been "born again", into God's family, do not make a practice of sinning. The Holy Spirit is in them and they have a new heart. THEY CAN NOT KEEP ON SINNING, BECAUSE THEY ARE CHILDREN OF GOD! Does that describe you, and is it a fact in your Christian life? Remember that others and in particular the Lord can tell who are the children of God and who are the children of the devil!

If you find that you are still committing the same sins as those before being "born again", then stop and consider this scripture. If you are still an alcoholic, drug addict or committing sexual sins, then clearly you are a child of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believer's does not belong to God! Clearly, we have all sinned and we all will sin while we are on this earth, it is the dominion of the devil. We are to understand that children of God, THEY CAN NOT KEEP ON SINNING, and they do not make a practice of sinning! You will not be able to habitually sin if you are a child of God!

Take the test right now. Are you practicing a habitual sin. Do you fail over and over, and do you keep on sinning? If you can and if you are, then you are not a child of God and you are not Saved from your sin. You have not been "born again", and you should not deceive yourself or others. The devil has deceived you and has you right where he wants you. You believe that you are Saved and will obtain eternal life. You will not! When you keep on sinning it shows that you are serving and belong to the devil, not Jesus Christ the Lord God! You are in danger of spending eternal damnation in Hell. Cry out to the Lord to Save you and open your heart in earnest to the Holy Spirit, this is the only way you can be Saved from you sin! The believer's,

THEY CAN NOT KEEP ON SINNING!

DO NOT LOVE THIS WORLD!

1 John 2: 15

"Do not love this world, or the things it offers you, for when you love the world ,

you do not have the love of the Father in you."

Do you have a craving for the pleasures of this world? Do you have pride in your achievements? Are your possessions very important to your self worth? Are physical pleasures dominating your life? Our One Truth Today has this admonition for you. If you love this world and the things that it offers you, you do not have the love of the Father in you. If you are caught up in the things of this world, your attention has been detracted from the eternal life to come! The World offers up cravings for physical pleasures and possessions that we see. The world fills us with pride and the false notion that we own anything or have achieved anything, that the Lord has given us, just for the moment. DO NOT LOVE THIS WORLD!

If you have taken your eyes and mind off Jesus Christ the Lord God, then you have your focus on the world. This is not from the Father but it is of the world. Have you noticed that the world is fading away, just as your earthly body and life are also fading away? Everything that people crave in this world continues to fade away. If the Love of the Father is in you then you will want to please the Lord. How do we please the Lord, by doing His will and following His commandments. Obey God's Word and you can truly show completely how much you Love Him! If you can not do this then you are not living the truth and you do not have the Love of the Father in you!

We can be sure that we know Jesus Christ if we obey His commandments. If we do not obey the commandments of the Lord, we are not living in His Truth. Of course we have all sinned but the Good News is we have an advocate who Saves us from our sins. Jesus Christ who is truly righteous pleads our case before the Father and as the ultimate sacrifice, atones for our sins. We are to live our lives as Jesus did. The closer we come to that template the more righteous we become. The more we Love Jesus Christ the Lord God the less we care about this world or anything in it. DO NOT LOVE THIS WORLD!

EVERY CHILD OF GOD DEFEATS THIS EVIL WORLD!

1 JOHN 5: 4

"Every Child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through

our faith."

Everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is the Lord God, has become a child of God! If we love the Son, we will also love the Father. The outward expression of our true love for God is that we keep His Commandments. It is not a burden for us to do God's will for our lives. We always have a strong faith and belief in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Word. We know God will Save us and give us eternal life and that is how and why; Every Child of God defeats this evil world! Yes, every child of God can be an over comer and look forward to the battle here on earth because we know we will be victorious. Only those who believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God can win the battle against this world, because of their faith!

God has testified that He has given us, as children of God, eternal life. The life is in the His Son, Jesus Christ. Who ever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son, does not have life! Do you have Jesus Christ as your Lord? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord God?

If you do you will have the gift of eternal life, as testified to by the water, blood and Spirit.

If you do not have Jesus Christ as your Lord, you will not have eternal life. If you have rejected Jesus Christ the Lord God and refused to accept Him as Lord, you have chosen eternal death and damnation. Your choice and your consequence, do not curse and blame God.

The Lord has given us this Word and Scripture so that we may know that we have life and that eternal. That is why as Christians and true believer's, we have such confidence that we can be heard by the Lord and He will make it possible for us to overcome this world. We know that if we ask for things in God's Will and for things that please Him, He will hear us and and He will answer us. We asked the Lord to Save us from this world and He has heard us and He has answered us! We are just passing through as pilgrims and our real and eternal home is in Heaven and there will we ever be with the Lord, Amen!

FLESH AND BLOOD!

HEBREWS 2: 14

"Because God's children are human beings made of flesh and blood, the Son also became FLESH AND BLOOD. For only as a human being could He die, and by dying could He break the power of the devil, who had the power over death."

If you are looking for something to thank and praise God for, consider our One Truth Today.

This scripture tells us how much God loves His children. The Omnipotent God, who was from the beginning and made everything, became FLESH AND BLOOD, and dwelt among us! Jesus Christ the Lord God became a human being, born as a baby, with all the frailties of man including death! God gave up His Deity to Save man from the devil and from death! It is humbling to know that God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son as a sacrifice, on the cross to Save our souls! The truth is that this was the Lord's plan from the beginning, to save repentant sinners and give them eternal life in Heaven with Him. Praise the Lord!

Because God's children are human beings made of FLESH AND BLOOD, Jesus Christ the Son of God became FLESH AND BLOOD. For only as a human being could He die for believer's and overcome the power death and the devil. That is why the Lord had to be FLESH AND BLOOD and not just spirit. There was no other way to Save us. God's perfect plan was set in motion at the birth of the Christ, the Savior. If you believe on Him and in Him and accept the Lord into your heart you will be Saved! Your Repentance will make you a new creature in Christ Jesus!

God loved us even when we were sinners. The Lord has set all of us free who have opened the door to our hearts and invited Him in to dwell with us. Prior to Jesus Christ we were all slaves to sin death. Now we are the children of God, first in the flesh as the Lord and then in the spirit as saved sinners! Death where is thy sting, grave where is thy victory? Just as Jesus rose from the dead, we will also, and we will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord in our new spiritual body. So even though here on earth we are FLESH AND BLOOD, just as Jesus Christ, we have been Saved and given a new life. Thank you Lord, Praise you Lord, Maranatha!

MYSTERY REVEALED!

1 TIMOTHY 3: 16

"Jesus Christ was REVEALED in a human body and vindicated by the Holy Spirit. Jesus was seen by angels and announced to the nations. Jesus Christ is believed in throughout the world and was taken to heaven in Glory."

What was the greatest MYSTERY REVEALED to mankind? What was the plan of God from the very beginning to Save His children? What was and still is the hardest thing for non believer's to accept and believe? The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus Christ was the MYSTERY REVEALED in a human body and vindicated by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was announced to the nations and is believed in throughout the world. He ascended into Heaven and the believer's who remain on earth await His Second Coming for our Salvation and eternal life with Him. Man now has the answer to the mystery of God's plan for the World, the Lord!

The truth was hidden from man until the birth of Jesus Christ. God in the flesh walked among us and provided the Redemption of mankind on the Cross. His blood was shed for all of our sins and His death allowed eternal life for all who believe on Him. This plan was withheld from the world until Jesus Christ was born and revealed in the flesh of His human body. He was announced by the Prophets and the Angels and He was seen by man. Men used their five senses to come to know the Lord. He was believed in and preached throughout the world. The record of His life, the Word of God, is a manual for our lives. God's plan was a MYSTERY REVEALED!

We have a record of the birth, life, death and then the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Man could see, hear, touch and sense the Lord's presence. We became aware of the fulfillment of the promise of God and His plan for our Salvation. At last the MYSTERY REVEALED to all men had occurred. Has this plan been revealed to you personally. Have you had a revelation of the mystery of God? Have you joined those of us who know and believe in Jesus Christ the Lord God? We pray that He will be your MYSTERY REVEALED!

FOLLOW ME!

LUKE 9: 23

"If any of you want to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways,

take up your cross daily, and FOLLOW ME!"

When you surrender your heart to Jesus Christ the Lord God, and decide to follow Him, what does He expect from you? You have a new heart and a new mind and you will have a new life, filled with the Holy Spirit, so what is expected of you? All believer's who love the Lord know from our One Truth Today that they must turn from their selfish ways! It is no longer about you, it is about Jesus Christ the Lord God! You have repented of your sins and you are on a new path that is made straight to the Lord. We have turned around from our carnal ways and we hear the Lord saying, FOLLOW ME. We must take up our cross daily, as we become more and more like our Lord Jesus Christ.

Just as Jesus Christ had to take up His Cross and suffer, you are expected to do the same thing.

In fact it is on a daily basis as we pass through this world on our way to the Kingdom of God that the Lord says, FOLLOW ME! Every day we are to be more like Him. We are to walk in the footsteps of our Lord. Jesus laid His life down for us and we are to lay down our lives for others, there is no greater love! Can you hear Him, are you listening, are you sacrificing yourself for others today. Are you willing to give up yourself in order to see the Lord increase?

When the Lord calls you to do something can you hear Him saying FOLLOW ME?

Jesus told us that if we wanted to follow Him we would have to deny our self and lose sight of our own interests. We are selfish by nature and it is only with the guidance and assistance of the Holy Spirit that we are able to turn from our selfish ways. We are to hold steadfastly to His example and take up our own cross on a daily basis. We are to lose sight of ourselves as we see more of Him. Ask yourself this question, am I living in a way that pleases God? Would it be possible for everyone to see the path I am on and the Way I am following? Do you deny yourself, do you avoid being selfish, do you take up your cross daily? Jesus is calling everyone.

FOLLOW ME!

IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, WEALTH DISAPPEARS!

PROVERBS 23: 4-5

"Do not wear yourself out trying to be rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit. IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, WEALTH DISAPPEARS, for it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle."

Is it your desire to be rich? How much wealth would be enough for you? What price are you willing to pay to obtain riches and wealth? Would you sacrifice you physical or mental well being to become rich? Would you violate mans, or God's laws to achieve riches? If you lose your honor or respect, your social or spiritual life would you still do anything to get rich? Assuming that you become rich, how much will it take out of your relationship with the Lord? Our One Truth Today is to remind us all that, IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, WEALTH DISAPPEARS! The advice in this scripture is to not wear yourself out trying to be rich and be wise enough to know when to quit trying!

We are on this earth for such a short time, in comparison to our eternal life. Is it wise to spend your time and energy trying to be rich? After all, we came into this world with nothing and we will leave with nothing. Any earthly riches that you accumulate will be given to others. That is if is has not been taken all ready. You could wear yourself out here on earth doing something that has no eternal value to your soul. Wealth like our lives is here today and gone tomorrow.

Do not rely on your riches, IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, WEALTH DISAPPEARS!

So many hurt themselves and others in the effort to become rich. The fact is that the Lord owns everything and it will never really be ours. The Lord gives gifts to his children and in the end everything comes from God. God knows when we have enough, the question is do we? The typical miser is covetous and greedy and he loses his life at the expense of his riches. It takes the Word of God to gain wisdom and knowledge about riches. We are advised not to wear our selves out trying to be rich. We are advised to be wise enough to know when to quit trying to be wealthy. Most importantly we told in advance that IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, WEALTH DISAPPEARS, it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle. Are you listening?

CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS!

THESSALONIANS 4: 17

"When the Lord returns, we who are alive and remain on the earth, will be

CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS, to meet the Lord in the air!"

Non believer's think of Christianity as "pie in the sky". The One Truth Today is beyond their comprehension. The Word of God tells us that the Lord will return to earth. It also tells us that "we who are alive and remain on earth will be CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS, to meet the Lord in the air". That is not pie in the sky but the Truth of the Word of God. The Rapture is one thing that the non believer will not understand until it is explained by the Spirit of the Lord. Our faith is what assures us of His Word. Of course, non believer's do not believe in hell either, but they will be judged and and if they have rejected the Lord they will be separated from Him forever! Heaven or hell, your choice and your consequence!

We know that there will be Christians remaining on the earth at the time of the Second Coming of the Lord. We know that if we are one of them we will be caught up in the air to meet Him.

Our earthly bodies will be left behind, just as all those who have gone before us. Our soul and our heavenly body will ascend to join with the other saints and spirits who preceded us and we will all be with Jesus Christ the Lord God for eternity. It is a lot for the human mind to digest and comprehend, but the Holy Spirit will guide and direct us in this truth. We look forward to being CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS!

It is comforting to know that we do not have to be worried for those who have gone on before us and no one needs to grieve for us as we escape this world. This is the blessed hope of being a believer in Jesus Christ. He will save us from death and give us new and eternal life. Just as He rose again, we will do the same thing. We will never know the precise moment, as no man knows the hour or the time of His return. I do know that because of our faith and belief in the Lord that we will be Saved. It may be before the Rapture, but it is exciting to think about the possibility of being CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS, to meet the Lord in the air!

CAN PEOPLE MAKE THEIR OWN GOD'S?

JEREMIAH 16 20

All true believer's know that Jesus Christ is the Lord God! We also know that there is only One God that can save us from our sins and give us eternal life. We know that the Word of God is the only Truth and is without error! We are at peace with this world and look forward to the life that is to come. We also know that there are two kinds of people in the world. The first group is that which is described above. The second group has many different belief's and they have accepted many god's and religions. The one common denominator is that they have rejected the One True God and disrespected Jesus Christ the Lord God. They make their own gods, but they are not God! CAN PEOPLE MAKE THEIR OWN GODS? Yes, but they are not real gods at all!

What a foolish act to presume that you have created a god. They are worthless idols and ideas that result in death and eternal damnation. The fact that men can make a god is preposterous on its face. Any god made by man, by definition could not be God. Do you really believe that a man or any collection of men can make the sun, moon, or stars? If you worship idols of wood, stone anything of this earth it could not be a god, because it was made by God! Men can not even create anything from nothing, including simple dirt! If you worship any creature, such as a monkey, cow, or human being, they have all been made by God and therefore could not be God!

Do you think that you are God? That is called humanism and is the most foolish idea of all.

Do you think that you can Save yourself, and give yourself eternal life? Go ahead make something from nothing! Only God can speak and bring forth the heavens and the earth! Only God has the power over life and death. Buddha, Mohamed, Confucius, or any of the other man made gods are all dead. Only Jesus Christ the Lord God is alive and willing to give the free gift of eternal life to all who believe on Him. As for the other group of people on earth that make their own gods they have hear the One Truth Today. CAN PEOPLE MAKE THEIR OWN GODS? Yes, but, they are not really gods at all!

REMEMBER MY CHAINS!

COLOSSIANS 4: 18

"REMEMBER MY CHAINS. May God's Grace be with you, Paul"

Most believer's have never been imprisoned for their beliefs. Most of us live in a time and place where Christian's are not openly persecuted. We are not being fed to the lions and killed for our faith. We have freedom of religion, a right to serve our Lord Jesus Christ without interference Yes there are those that disrespect and reject the Lord, such as atheists, agnostics, and humanists but they have and will continue to fail as substitutes for the Lord! We need to thank the founding fathers that had experienced persecution first hand and fled that tyranny to found the United States of America. Many had suffered imprisonment and indignation and some even death for their faith. Like Paul's One Truth Today, we need to remember the chains and afflictions that led to our present world. May God's Grace be with us all!

Paul was imprisoned, beaten, and repeatedly suffered indignities as a result of spreading the Gospel. Paul never wavered from his belief's and the mission that Jesus Christ the Lord God had given him. Would you have done the same under those circumstances? If you thought that you would be beaten, or jailed or crucified, would you still tell others about the Good News?

Paul asks us to REMEMBER MY CHAINS, but at the same time prays for God's Grace to be with us. Stop for a moment and remember what the disciples did for all of us. Like Jesus, many shed their blood for our sake. Let us never forget the sacrifices for present believer's!

Even though Paul was made to suffer in chains and in prison, he still wanted to pray for all of us. He prayed for the generations to come. It is our duty to remember and then pray for all the generations to come after us. Like Paul we must spread the Gospel without compromise.

There may come a time of persecution and discrimination in our world and we need to always remember those that lead the way for us to follow. Remain strong in your beliefs and faithful to the Lord. Thank God that He gave us examples and a path to follow. Take Paul's advice and

REMEMBER MY CHAINS!

A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LORD JESUS!

COLOSSIANS 3: 17

"Whatever you do or say, do it as A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LORD JESUS,

giving thanks through Him to God the Father."

You may not think of yourself as A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LORD JESUS, but if you are His believer and follower, you are! You represent the family of God! So whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of Jesus Christ the Lord God. Give thanks to your Lord and Savior that you have become His child. Many identify themselves with their country, political party, social group or team. You represent them. As a Christian, you are A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LORD JESUS! People are watching you and listening to you as a reflection of what it means to be a Christian. What do they hear, what do they see, what kind of representative are you?

We depend on the Holy Spirit to lead us and direct us. We are to walk in the paths of righteousness and we no longer are our own but belong to Jesus Christ the Lord God. You speak not just for yourself but for all Christians. Whatever you do or say do it as A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LORD JESUS! That is why your conscience bothers you when you stray from the path and sin. If you involve yourself in actions that are immoral or sinful it will be seen and heard by others and you hurt not just yourself but Jesus Christ. You will be an embarrassment to Christianity. You are responsible for your actions and you belong to the Lord!

We should always give thanks to the Lord for His Grace and Salvation. The best way of showing your thanks is to honor the Lord in your words and deeds. Show your love and faith by being a new person, filled with the Holy Spirit. Reject evil and sinful desires and do your best to represent the Kingdom of God. You are an eternal child of God and your home is in Heaven with the Lord. Be thankful to the Father God for His plan of redemption and Saving Grace. The resurrection of the Lord was our resurrection and we are now given the gift of eternal life. Our duty is to honor the Lord and avoid anything that can diminish His Kingdom!

Do everything as A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LORD JESUS !

SEEING IS BELIEVING!

COLOSSIANS 1: 15

"Christ is the visible image of the invisible God! He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all of creation!"

Many people think that SEEING IS BELIEVING. Mere talk or conjecture is never enough proof for them. Their attitude is "what you see is what you get". To them reality is available only by our senses. That is why so many fail to believe in God, because they can not see Him or sense Him. In fact since the beginning of time God was invisible, with the exception of the birth, life and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ became the VISIBLE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD! This was the answer to mans prayers to see, touch, hear, and visualize the Living God! We now have the Word of God, the Holy Bible, which contains the Truth about the Christ, the Living God by those who tell us that their SEEING IS BELIEVING!

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus Christ the Lord God was born as a human being and the visible image of the invisible God. You could hear Him, touch Him, smell Him and most of all you could see Him. Once you taste the sweetness of the Lord, where can you go? All their senses made them confident of His existence. We heard His messages , we touched Him and saw Him among us. Even during this time many still did not believe which is no different than this present time. Even with the evidence before them, they could not understand. So to those who say that SEEING IS BELIEVING, think of all those who missed the Gospel and Truth of the Lord when it was discernible by their senses. It is by Faith we are Saved!

Jesus Christ was God in the human form. Man is made in the image of God. God exists in a different dimension than we do, but for these moments in time Christ was the visible image of the invisible God. He was even seen ascending into Heaven and His story is still told to this day in every part of the world. Men did not believe there senses then and now they do not believe because they can not perceive God with their senses. Men of faith and belief know the truth and the truth is what sets them free. We accept the free gift of life and the Salvation of the living God without Him present in the flesh, only in the spirit. SEEING IS BELIEVING, is true of those who come to a faith in Jesus Christ the Lord God!

MY REFUGE IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE!

JEREMIAH 16: 19

"Lord you are my strength and fortress, MY REFUGE IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE!"

Every person will have a day of trouble. In fact throughout our lives on this earth there may be many days of trouble. What kind of trouble have you experienced? Have you had a serious illness, financial problem, or been physically or mentally injured? Have you lost someone or something that was very important to you? Has there been a dissolution of a relationship that you thought was impenetrable? Have you had problems with alcohol, drugs or sex that have ruined your life? Have you lost the respect of your family, or friends. The question is what will you do in your time of struggle. If you are a believer you can say, Lord, you are my strength and my fortress, MY REFUGE IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE!

The answer to what you will do in a day of trouble is dependent on your belief's. There are two obvious answers. If you believe in Jesus Christ the Lord God you will always have a refuge and a strong fortress to run into to be Saved. If you do not believe in God you will have to rely on yourself, alcohol, drugs, sex or some other ineffective and dangerous solution. No worldly way will be an answer for you in the day of trouble. Man does not have the answer. Religious idols and humanistic approaches are pathetic and will offer no solution. The only power on this earth that can Save you IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE is the Lord. The Lord will offer the only real fortress and strength to you.

Lord you are my strength and my fortress, MY REFUGE IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE. That is the One Truth Today. In your time of affliction there is only one strong tower, one fortress and one place of refuge, Jesus Christ the Lord God, has the answer. When the world comes crashing down on you, and it will, you need a Rock to stand on, a Tower to run into, a Fortress that is impenetrable. Where else can you go but to the Lord who has the eternal answer to your problem. If you lose everything you have in this world including your body you will still have eternal life in Heaven with the Lord, if you believe! If you are a believer then you can say, God be MY REFUGE IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE.

ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS RETURN!

1 THESSALONIANS 1: 10

"They speak of how you are looking forward to the coming of God's Son Jesus,

from heaven. Jesus, whom God raised from the dead. He is the one who has rescued us from the terrors of the coming judgement."

The Thessalonians alive at the time of Jesus had all ready started to look forward to the second coming of Jesus Christ. They understood that their Messiah had come to earth and had ascended into heaven. When Christ returns, at the second coming, He would rescue them from death and the terrors of the coming judgement. Jesus is the one who will rescue us, ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS RETURN? We know that Jesus will descend from heaven. just as He left, not as an innocent child, but as our Lord and Savior. He will save each believer from death, terror, and judgement. Although no one knows the hour or the day, it could be at any moment. This is our One Truth Today.

The Good News is that we can look forward to the return of Jesus Christ the Lord God when He descends from Heaven to Save us from the coming judgement. That is why He died and then rose from the dead and it was the plan of redemption by God from the very beginning.

He can rescue you from the coming wrath and punishment if you accept and believe on Him.

If you have repented of your sins and continued to follow the Lord you will be Saved. If you have rejected and disrespected Jesus Christ, you will be Lost and suffer eternal separation and the punishment you imposed on yourself by your choice and free will. That is why believer's

ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS RETURN!

Do not get wrapped up in this life and the world. We are all sinners and we all need a Savior.

Jesus Christ is coming back this second time to Save His children and those who believe in Him. We will then ascend into heaven with the Lord and there shall we always be. Have you repented of your sins, have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and asked Him into your heart? Your choice and your consequence. Everyone is responsible for their own choice. God does not any one to perish but the free will choice to accept the gift of life belongs to you. That is why He has tarried, to give time for your Salvation. Maranatha is our prayer, ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS RETURN!

THE LORD'S DISCIPLINE!

HEBREWS 12: 5

"My child, do not make light of THE LORD'S DISCIPLINE, and do not give up when He corrects you. For the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He punishes each one He accepts as His child."

All good parents discipline their children, because they love them! They correct and punish their children to instruct them in the ways of righteousness. When you were disciplined by your parents did you interpret that as them hating or disliking you? Our One Truth Today shows us that God the Father love his children so much that He will correct you and punish you if you are His child. Do not make light of THE LORD'S DISCIPLINE! Parents show their love and interest in you when they discipline you. Your parents and the Lord want to save you from harm and even save your life. Never give up loving your parents or your God because they correct you, they are really loving you and showing you encouragement.

The Lord and your parents have the right and the authority to discipline and punish you because you belong to them. Because they love and nurture you they have that right. Do not react with scorn or disrespect when you are being chastised or you lose the valuable lessons that are for your benefit and future. If you fail to submit and learn from their teaching and their discipline you are the one who will suffer. You will be the one to be hurt by not accepting THE LORD'S DISCIPLINE. Discipline is proof of how your parents love and cherish you. Lack of discipline is shows a lack of caring and love. The Lord disciplines the one's He loves!

We must not forget this encouraging word especially for parents. Do not be afraid to lose the love of your child by enforcing His Word and Laws. Never give up correcting or punishing your child if you love them and want the best for their future. You help your children to grow and become responsible when you correct and punish them. We all want to be accepted and loved by our children, but do not make it at the expense of their righteousness. We must all learn to accept THE LORD'S DISCIPLINE!

LET YOUR ROOTS GROW DOWN INTO HIM!

COLOSSIANS 2: 6-7

"Now, just as you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord, you must continue to follow Him. LET YOUR ROOTS GROW DOWN INTO HIM, and let your life be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught and you will overflow with thankfulness.!

Have you ever planted anything? Do you remember how small and fragile the little seedlings are in the beginning? They require great care and protection and must be constantly tended and watered to grow, if they are to survive. Remember how anxious you were until they passed the critical initial stage and showed potential growth? When there was substantial growth and the plant started to blossom and produce fruit there was great satisfaction and even pride. The plant had rooted and was healthy. That is the description of a believer. You accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you started to follow Him. Now you must LET YOUR ROOTS GROW DOWN INTO HIM! You must let your life be built on Him. That is when your faith will grow strong in the Truth. You will overflow with thankfulness for your Lord!

LET YOUR ROOTS GROW deep into the Lord! The first step was accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Once He entered your heart and filled it with the Holy Spirit you became a believer. The Lord will dwell with you and lead you on the path of righteousness.

You will become stronger and wiser in the Lord and your faith will grow, if the roots are deep!

When you are firmly planted in the Lord and the roots run deep you will flower and blossom and bear fruit. Let there be an abundance of fruit along with your thankfulness. LET YOUR ROOTS GROW DOWN INTO HIM!

The best part of being rooted in the Lord is that you will flower and blossom in your life. You will be like a prize plant in the Lord's garden. You will be beautiful and you will attract others to you that will want to come to know the Lord. There will be a natural overflowing of thankfulness on the part of everyone involved in the process, especially the Lord. As your roots grow deeper you will continue to flourish and grow even stronger and more beautiful. Year after year you will produce delightful fruit and flowers. LET YOUR ROOTS GROW DOWN INTO HIM!

WHO KILLED JESUS?

JOHN 10: 18

"NO ONE CAN TAKE MY LIFE FROM ME, I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also take it up again."

Throughout the ages many accusations have been made about who killed Jesus. Was it the Romans' and their Governor Pontious Pilate? Was it the Jewish Pharisees and Sadducee's that turned Jesus Christ over to the Romans? Was it the devil and his demons who knew their fate?

Our One Truth Today answers the question. NO ONE CAN TAKE MY LIFE FROM ME! Jesus Christ is the only one in Heaven or on earth that has the power or authority to lay His life down and to also take it up again! The Lord sacrificed Himself voluntarily in order to Save us sinners, and believer's, from certain death. No one can blame anyone for the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Lord God!

If Jesus Christ died on the cross and was placed in a tomb, is He dead? One again the One Truth Today has the correct answer. Jesus Christ told us that only He has the authority to lay His life down as a sacrifice, and only He has the authority to take it up again, whenever He wants to! We know that He rose from the tomb and He is Alive just as the scriptures foretold!

The Lord is waiting to receive His believer's into the Kingdom of God. So in fact, no one killed Jesus Christ, and He is not dead but very much alive, for He overcame death and the grave!

That is the Good News, the story of redemption for sinners and the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Jesus Christ the Lord God is the only one authorized and powerful enough to carry out this plan of redemption that has now been revealed to us all. This was the plan of Salvation from the very beginning by God. So if someone tries to tell you that God is dead, they do not even have the beginning of wisdom, and they are fools! Only a fool says in his heart there is no God!

We know the Truth and we have His Word! Jesus Christ took the sins of every believer when He died on the Cross for us. He died and then rose again to ascend into Heaven where He has gone to prepare a place for each of us. Who killed Jesus? No one killed Jesus, nor could anyone Kill the Lord God! NO ONE CAN TAKE MY LIFE FROM ME!

BRIGHT LIGHTS!

PHILIPPIANS 2: 15

"Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shinning like BRIGHT LIGHTS,

in a world full of crooked and perverse people."

Our One Truth Today is full of Truths. We live in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

All true believer's are children of God. The Lord expects us to live clean, innocent lives because we are His obedient children, His BRIGHT LIGHTS! If you find yourself in a dark place, there is nothing more comforting than BRIGHT LIGHTS! The light shines and shows you the way and gives you comfort. If you are on the dark seas and you see the light house in the distance you will know the shore is near and the destination close. That beacon of light can lead you safely home! There is beauty in the dark sky, because of the twinkling and shining stars that can give us so much information. Children of God who live clean, innocent lives, bring light to a world full of crooked and perverse people. We are the BRIGHT LIGHTS of the Lord!

Are you a BRIGHT LIGHT to the world? Are you living a clean and innocent life that is an example of the Lord's children to the world? Have you separated yourself from this wicked and perverse world? Remember non believer's prefer the darkness to the light so that they can be involved in all kinds of shameful behavior. What a contrast between the darkness and the light.

There are two groups of people on earth. One rejects God and prefers darkness and depravity.

The other, believer's, prefer the BRIGHT LIGHTS of Jesus Christ the Lord God and are drawn to the light as a beacon home. God is light and without God there is no light. Why would any one choose to be sent into utter darkness for eternity?

Without true believer's and followers of Jesus Christ, this entire world would be without the BRIGHT LIGHTS of the children of God. We would be in extreme darkness, oppression and evil. Each of our lights holds back the darkness. We are the beams of light that hold back that darkness. Our light is from the Lord and the more we are like Him the more light that shines from our lives. Non believer's hate the light and run from it, but there will be no place to hide from the Light, until their death. One of the most important functions of a true believer is to shine the BRIGHT LIGHTS of the Lord throughout the world. We do that by how we live and by clean, innocent lives. Are you a shining light in this world of darkness?

CITIZENS OF HEAVEN!

PHILIPPIANS 1: 27

"Above all, you must live as CITIZENS OF HEAVEN, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Jesus Christ!"

May I see your passport please? Where is your home? Where are you a citizen? Our One Truth Today tells us the correct answer to the questions. You may be proud to live in the United States or in any other country and you may travel around this world, but remember that above all you must live as CITIZENS OF HEAVEN! Conduct yourself in a manner worthy of being an eternal citizen of Heaven. You are a child of Jesus Christ the Lord God! This world is not our true home or our eternal destination. We are merely pilgrims, passing through this world and though we are in it, we are not of it! Praise the Lord, our home is in Heaven!

Knowing that we are CITIZENS OF HEAVEN, we must live and conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Jesus Christ. We are different from those who do not have a passport to Heaven. You and your fruit here on earth must be different from non believer's.

We have the Holy Spirit to direct our lives and give us a conscience that leads to righteousness!

Let us stand firm and united as we direct our path to God and journey through this world. We should be of one mind with the Lord, and of one faith with God. This is momentary while Heaven is Eternal. We are CITIZENS OF HEAVEN!

We may carry two passports while here on earth. One is for the country in which we reside and call our earthly home, but more importantly we have a passport showing that we are CITIZENS OF HEAVEN, and our eternal home is in the Kingdom of God. Do not get caught up in this life, which passes in the twinkling of an eye, but instead build up your treasures for heaven and your eternal life with God. Do not get so focused on this horizontal existence that you fail to see the vertical eternal existence that lies ahead. Look up, your redemption is near! We entered the world with nothing and we leave with nothing, there is nothing you can take with you when you go. Your eternal soul is going to one of two destinations. If you Know, Love and Fear God you will be a CITIZEN OF HEAVEN! If you reject and disrespect the God who made you then you will be separated from the Kingdom of God for eternity. Where is your passport, where are you a citizen?

ENTER HIS REST!

HEBREWS 3: 19

"So we see that because of their wickedness they were not able to ENTER HIS REST!"

Many grave headstones have the inscription, "REST IN PEACE". The question is does that really happen upon death? It is the prayer of those who love the deceased, but is it a reality for them? The assumption is that the departed is now present with the Lord in Heaven, in eternal peace. The One Truth Today has quite a different message for unbeliever's. Because of their wickedness unsaved, unbeliever's, are not able to ENTER HIS REST! If they had wanted to Rest in Peace for eternity they had to accept the free gift of life and be Saved by Jesus Christ the Lord God! They would have had to believe in the Lord, confessed their sins, and ceased their wickedness. They had a choice to accept or reject their Lord and His Peace and Rest and there are consequences to that choice!

While we are on earth, we cry out for peace. Peace, peace and there is no peace. There is no true rest or peace here on earth. You will only ENTER HIS REST if you are born again to a new spiritual life with the Lord. If you harden your heart and refuse to accept God's gift and plan you will be separated from God forever and you will never know, experience or ENTER HIS REST! If you reject God there is a predictable result, you will die eternally. God has taken an oath that those who disobey Him will NEVER ENTER HIS REST. Because of their unbelief they were not able to ENTER HIS REST. Paul's advice is to turn to the Living and Loving God and remain faithful until the end and you will be able to ENTER HIS REST!

If you have rejected God and will not listen to His Word you have sealed your own fate and the Justice of God will be perfect. Your choice and your consequence. Do not complain about your fate for you alone are responsible for it. Your free will, made your free choice and now you will have sealed your own consequences. You will never enter the Kingdom of God and obtain the Peace and eternal Life, like all believer's, instead because of your unbelief you will not be able to ENTER HIS REST! Do not be tricked by the devil, your enemy, who will lie and tell you that "surely you will not die". Unless you are saved by Jesus Christ and your sins are forgiven, you will surely die and you will never ENTER HIS REST!

ALIVE AND POWERFUL

HEBREWS 4: 12

"For the Word of God is ALIVE AND POWERFUL. It is sharper than the sharpest two edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow."

The Bible is the Word of God! How can any book be ALIVE AND POWERFUL? Our One Truth Today is that the Word of God is ALIVE AND POWERFUL, sharper than the sharpest two edged sword, cutting between the soul and the spirit! Those of us who Know, Love and Fear God are certain that the Word of God is alive and powerful and is the manual for our lives, given to us by our God! Just as we know that Jesus Christ the Lord God is Alive and has overcome death for us! The Word had no beginning and it has no end, just like God, it is, was and always will be alive! Each of us as believer's can testify that the Word of God is Alive and powerful because it has saved our lives and fills us with His Spirit on a daily basis. It cuts between our soul and spirit and exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

Agnostics and atheists proclaim that God is dead. It does not matter what they think for the Word of God is ALIVE AND POWERFUL! This is something they will find out and there will be eternal consequences to their rejection and disrespect for the Living God. Their choice will lead to Just consequences and eternal separation. If God is dead in your life, it is not too late to accept His free gift of eternal life. If you want the answers to life's questions, if you seek wisdom, if you want the peace that passes understanding, then there is only one way that you can achieve it. Believe and accept the Word of God, and Jesus Christ the Lord God will become your Savior. Read the Bible, the WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE AND POWERFUL!

If something is dead it is no longer of any value to us. It is dead and buried. Has the Word of God been buried or put away? No the Bible is the most printed and read book in the world. In the history of man the Word of God has been the book of knowledge and truth that can lead and protect us and bring us to a knowledge that makes us ALIVE AND POWERFUL! It is trust worthy and true and has the answers to all your questions about life. The Word was with God from the beginning and it became flesh and dwelt among us. It is the the three part Spirit of the living God. Only a fool says in their heart, their is no God, no Jesus Christ, no Spirit. Do not listen to fools who are separated from God and will lead you on the path to certain death. It is a paradox that the only spirits that will be dead eternally are those that say God is dead!

BECAUSE OF HIS MERCY!

TITUS 3: 5

"God saved us, not because of the righteous things that we had done, but

BECAUSE OF HIS MERCY!"

It is common for many men to be prideful and full of themselves. They even believe that they are responsible for their accomplishments. This is true even about believer's. The best example is a preacher of a large, spirit filled Church. It is man's nature to want to take the credit for our many accomplishments. Most of us want to believe that we have the power and ability to control our lives and destiny. I have a question for those people. Can you Save yourself from death and give yourself eternal life? Our One Truth Today is here to remind us that God is the only one who can or will save us. It will not be because of anything we have done, no matter how righteous we have become. God Saves us BECAUSE OF HIS MERCY!

Most of us know that we have been rebellious, foolish and disobedient when it comes to our relationship with God. No one is Good, no not one. We have been misled and deluded into taking all kinds of actions that are sinful and mistaken. Many have wasted their lives on malice

hatred, envy and jealousy. On our own and with our own power we are helpless to overcome these sins. Jesus Christ the Lord God is the only one who can wash away all of our sins and make us new and whole. How can this happen and what is the reason, BECAUSE OF HIS MERCY! That is correct God will save you and redeem you, but not because of anything that you have done, no matter how righteous you are.

There is no righteousness that you can perform that approaches the Glory of God. Life eternal is a gift of God. Everything you have or ever will have is a gift from God. When you accepted the Lord into your heart and were Baptized by the Holy Spirit you became a new person with a new heart an eternal soul. That was a gift of God, BECAUSE OF HIS MERCY! No man can ever boast about his salvation, because you could never save yourself. God poured out His Mercy and Love and Life just for us. Be careful that your pride does not cause your fall. Thank the Lord that He Saved you BECAUSE OF HIS MERCY!

THOSE WITH A PURE HEART!

TITUS 1: 15

"Everything is pure to THOSE WITH A PURE HEART. Nothing is pure to those who

are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and conscience are corrupt."

Why is it that some see the glass half full of water and others see it half empty? Why are some people so optimistic while others are so pessimistic? Our One Truth Today has some incite as to why the above is true. Everything is pure to THOSE WITH A PURE HEART, therefore they are positive thinkers and believers. Nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupt, therefore they are negative and pessimistic.

This explains why some see the good in people and life, while others only see the bad or negative side of life. It is a matter of the heart and the mind and is inherent in their belief system. Those who Know, Love and Fear God have a new heart and a new mind and it is filled with the purity of the Holy spirit. Those who do not believe in God have a corrupt heart and mind that defiles their life and separates them from God and THOSE WITH A PURE HEART!

Everyone knows someone whose mind and conscience is polluted and defiled. As a result of their unbelief, the natural consequence is separation from Jesus Christ the Lord God. They have condemned themselves to a corrupt, unbelieving, impure mind and conscience. The result is predictable. What a clear distinction between THOSE WITH A PURE HEART, and those who have been corrupted. There is only one way to clean up an impure heart and that is by the Salvation of the Lord. You must ask Jesus Christ into your heart so that He can give a new one.

A new life, a new body, and a new mind are only possible is you believe the Lord!

Are you are tired of being pessimistic and filled with unbelief. Are you are tired of being corrupt and having a bad conscience about you and your life. Do you want a new life, with a new chance, a new mind and a new heart? Are you well aware of the empty place in your life and mind that fails to give you peace? Then understand the One Truth Today, if you want a pure heart and a pure life, you need a Savior. That is Jesus Christ. Only He can give you a new life, new heart and new mind. Only He can bring you peace and then eternal life in His kingdom. If Jesus Christ dwells in your heart you will be a new person with a pure heart and everything will be pure to THOSE WITH A PURE HEART!

THIS EVIL WORLD!

TITUS 2: 12

"We are instructed to turn from Godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in THIS EVIL WORLD with wisdom, righteousness and devotion to God!"

Not everyone is aware that we live in THIS EVIL WORLD! Those who are godless and revel in sinful and shameful pleasures consider this a normal world. We are all aware of the murders, rapes, thefts, and mayhem that occurs in our daily world. We are aware of the sexual debasing of our society with its pornography, pedophilia, and sexual deviates. Look at the politics of any of the countries and you will find corruption and the abuse of the peoples trust. Greedy people cheat others every day. As Christian believer's what are we to do? We live in THIS EVIL WORLD but we must turn from Godless living and sinful pleasures. We are to live with wisdom and righteousness and be devoted to God!

We must show self control and devotion to the Word of God. We have been saved from this evil life here on earth and been given the promise of an eternal life to come that is in perfection. Our Redemption should allow us to reject and renounce all the ungodliness and worldly passions of this world. We must live discretely and with self control and wisdom. If you are a new creature in Christ Jesus then you have a new heart and a new life. Turn from

THIS EVIL WORLD!

Are you awaiting the return of our Lord and the fulfillment of His promise? Is your hope in the appearing of our Lord and Savior? Are you devoted to the Messiah, the Son of God and our Lord Jesus Christ, then you will receive His instruction and turn from Godless living and sinful pleasures. You will be able to discern good from evil and right from wrong. To those who have not been "born again", this will seem simplistic and questionable, but they have yet to learn that "the beginning of wisdom is the fear of God". There is a lot to fear in THIS EVIL WORLD,

but with the Lord as our Savior we will be Saved! If you do not know, love and fear God then you need to listen to the One Truth Today!

ALL SCRIPTURE IS INSPIRED BY GOD!

2 TIMOTHY 3: 16

"ALL SCRIPTURE IS INSPIRED BY GOD and is useful to teach us what is true, and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and it teaches us to do what is right!"

Even though the Holy Bible was written by many authors, over many years, it is a unified document that shows that ALL SCRIPTURE IS INSPIRED BY GOD! As believer's we know and understand this. Those who reject God will reject His Word and His Truth. They ridicule the Bible and argue that it is not without errors. The Truth is that every time there is a new discovery by man it always confirms the Bible and the Word of God. God does not make errors and you can rely on the Truth of the Word of God. He alone breathed life into the Holy Word, all though the instruments were the authors. The scripture is useful to teach us right from wrong and it points out what is wrong with our lives and it teaches us to do what is right! It is profitable for instruction and reproof and conviction of sin, to those who will listen!

Without the Word of God, man would be incomplete, less proficient and ill equipped to live in this world. The Word helps to bring us Salvation and eternal life. It is the manual that God has

given to us for our lives. Whether it is the Old Testament, the New Testament or just the red letter Words of Christ, it is the Truth and should be understood and known from Genesis to Revelation. We can not just pick our favorite scriptures or passages, we must know that ALL SCRIPTURE IS INSPIRED BY GOD!

Do you believe the Word of God, then you must believe our One Truth Today! Do you read and study the Bible on a regular basis? We recommend that you use a One Year Bible each and every year to gain in wisdom and knowledge. That should be the minimum that you commit to.

Have you placed the Word of God in your heart and mind? Are you ready to answer any question that could be asked of you? You need more than just a cursory knowledge of the Word! ALL SCRIPTURE IS INSPIRED BY GOD and is useful to teach us right from wrong and what is true and what is a lie.

TURN AWAY FROM EVIL!

2 TIMOTHY 2: 19

"God's truth stands firm like a foundation stone, with this inscription: The Lord knows who are His, and all who belong to the Lord must TURN AWAY FROM EVIL"

The Lord knows everything about you, down to the smallest details of your life. He knows your name and hears your every cry and prayer. The Lord knows who are His children and those that belong to Him must TURN AWAY FROM EVIL! God's truths stand like a firm foundation stone and will not be moved. Do you know the Lord? If you Love, Know and Fear the Lord He has His seal upon you. Have you turned away from evil? Have you made your path straight toward the Lord? Because you have the Holy Spirit in your heart you will TURN AWAY FROM EVIL!

If you were in an adulterous relationship before you came to Christ, you will know you are His if you have stopped committing adultery. If you were an alcoholic before you came to Christ, have you stopped getting drunk. If you had a habit of viewing pornography and R rated, sexual materials before you came to Christ, have you turned away from this evil behavior? If you had a habit of gossiping and harming people, have you stopped? The Lord knows who are His and all who belong to the Lord must TURN AWAY FROM EVIL! The truth of the Lord is etched in His foundation stone and if you truly belong to God you will listen and live His Word!

The Word of God is Truth and must be known and acted upon by all those who love Him. He knows if you are His and listen to His voice. It is simple, did you give up your wicked and evil ways when you accepted the gift of life from Jesus Christ? Have you become a new creation with a new heart, filled with the Holy Spirit? Have you give up your old habits and ways and do you flee from evil? Do you remain separated from wickedness and darkness and are you able to walk toward the Light? If you have you have listened to God and learned His Truth. Our One Truth Today for Christians is to TURN AWAY FROM EVIL!

GOD HAS MADE EVERYTHING PLAIN!

2 TIMOTHY 1: 10

"Now GOD HAS MADE EVERYTHING PLAIN to us by the appearing of Jesus Christ our Savior. Jesus abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel!"

If all we had was the "OLD TESTAMENT", and we lived before the coming of Jesus Christ, we would be at a distinct disadvantage. We would not have the whole truth or the whole "GOSPEL"! For example, Solomon, the wisest man to live in his age, thought everything was vanity. Solomon did not have the "good news" of Jesus Christ. Job knew that he would see His Redeemer, but he was unclear about it because Jesus Christ had not made everything plain by His appearing. This was before Jesus Christ abolished death and brought immortal life to those who love and believe Him. What would your life be like if you did not have the Gospel of the Lord? What if there had never been the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior? NOW GOD HAS MADE EVERYTHING PLAIN!

The Prophets of the Old Testament have had their message come true. God appearing in the flesh is not mere Words. Jesus Christ appearing in the flesh and dwelling among us is the tangible proof the promise and plan of God. We could See Him, Hear Him, Touch Him and the Lord left us His NEW TESTAMENT! We now have the whole truth. GOD HAS MADE EVERYTHING PLAIN! Because Jesus was Saved from the Cross and shed His blood for us we have the miracle of new and eternal life. This was the plan of God from the beginning and now it was evident and present. Share the Good News of the Gospel to all you can for it is life and it is for everyone who believes. GOD HAS MADE EVERYTHING PLAIN!

TRUE GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT!

1 TIMOTHY 6: 6-7

TRUE GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT is itself great wealth! After all we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can take nothing with us when we leave it."

If you want great wealth, that you can take with you to Heaven, then understand our One Truth Today. Are you content with your life? Are you content with the amount of wealth and money that you have accumulated, or do you always want more? Is your idea of a retirement plan to win the Lottery? Have you been able to meet your dreams and aspirations or are you still discontented? Does obtaining money or wealth take up the majority of your day and energy? You need to listen and then understand this scripture. TRUE GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT is in and of itself great wealth. If you want to be rich in God's kingdom then your goals will not be of and for this earth!

When you were born, you brought nothing with you into this world. When you die to this life you will take nothing with you when you go! Whatever you accumulate here, you will leave here! There is only one way to obtain and then hold onto great wealth. Lay up your treasures for heaven! TRUE GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT IS ITSELF GREAT WEALTH! The only thing that you will have as you leave this life is your state of mind and attitude. There is only one true gain and only one profit from this life and that is to know and love God and be content with His righteousness and Godliness. Respect and Worship Jesus Christ the Lord God and you will be content and achieve Holiness, and great personal wealth.

Worldly wealth and our economies are temporary and fleeting. God's economy is eternal and is never lost. You really own nothing in this world. The world and everything in it belongs to God! You arrived with your eternal soul and you will leave this earth with only that, and what choice you make regarding your soul will have eternal consequences. Will your soul ascend to Heaven to be with the Lord? If you believe in and accept the free gift of eternal life you will achieve TRUE GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT! If you reject God and refuse to accept His plan for your life, then you will descend into Hell and you will remain there forever, separated from God. Your relationship with God will determine your contentment here on earth and in the world to come. How are you doing? Do you Love God, are you content?

TRAINING FOR GODLINESS!

1 TIMOTHY 4: 8

"Physical training is good, but, TRAINING FOR GODLINESS is better, promising benefits in this life and the life to come."

Someday we will all lose our bodies. While we are alive, physical training is good, but, TRAINING FOR GODLINESS, is better. You will be trading your physical, earthly, body for one of the Spirit that will last forever. That is why training for Godliness is even more important and brings benefits for this life, and more importantly for the life to come! Do you work out every day and do what you can to maintain your physical body? Do you work out every day, to do what you can to TRAIN FOR GODLINESS? How much time and effort do you apply to each of these needs? If you are trying to keep your body young and beautiful, you will be in a losing cause. The same effort applied to Godliness and spiritual training lasts forever!

Physical training has value for the short time we are here on earth and is important. You are the steward of your body and your choices will have consequences. The One Truth Today is that your TRAINING FOR GODLINESS is even more important as it has eternal consequences.

Your body will decay but your spirit will live on eternally. There is a promise of the benefits for this life and the life to come in TRAINING FOR GODLINESS. Physical training is good but training for Godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and the life to come. What is your attitude and position on our scripture for today?

Think of reading and understanding the Word of God as a workout for your spirit. Think of digesting the "bread of life" as your nutrition for life. Think of attending Church and learning from the sermons as building the muscles of the mind. Learning God's laws and understanding the Prophets and the Word is how you build your spiritual body and muscles. The more of the daily bread you eat, the healthier you become. So while we are present on earth we are to take care of our bodies, including physical training, but more importantly we are to build up our spiritual bodies, because they last forever. Remember, our home is not here but in Heaven and the life to come!

LOVE YOUR ENEMIES!

PROVERBS 25: 21-22

"If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the Lord will reward you."

Do you have any enemies? Is anyone threatening you, or your family, your religion, or your country? The One Truth Today tells us what the Lord expects us to do to those we consider our enemies. Our flesh tells us to do something different then God. Tit for tat is the fleshly, human answer to an attack. Many want to escalate the retaliation and punish those they hate. How has that been working for us? Families, countries, religions, and individuals carry on in a never ending story of hatred, death and destruction. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. It is time for you to stop acting in the flesh and listening to the Spirit of God! LOVE YOUR ENEMIES!

In Matthew, Jesus Christ tells us to LOVE YOUR ENEMIES. We are to bless them that curse us and do good to them that hate us. We are to pray for those who despitefully use us and persecute us. In Romans the Lord tells us, "do not be overcome with evil , but overcome evil with good". Here in Proverbs we are given specific instructions on how to handle our enemies.

If your enemy is hungry, give him food. If you enemy is thirsty, give him water to drink. LOVE YOUR ENEMIES! If you have the courage and wisdom to do so, your enemy will have burning coals of shame on their head. It interrupts the cycle of hatred and violence and your enemy will have to respond in an entirely different way. The Lord will reward you, that is His promise!

The best part of taking the high road and obeying the Lord is that He will reward our behavior!

Break the cycle of hatred and test the Lord. Substitute Love and you can get a different result that will stop the insanity. Give your enemy comfort and support and show goodness and kind behavior and it will affect the way they think about you. Put God to the test and use His Word today. Take someone you think of as an enemy, someone you have a strained relationship with and apply the Proverb. Give them your love, your attention, your help. If it is a father or mother a sister or brother or anyone else, try it today. LOVE YOUR ENEMIES!

JESUS CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS!

1 TIMOTHY 1: 15

"This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: JESUS CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS, and I am the worst of them all."

You know that you are a sinner, correct? You can argue whether you are the worst of them all, but you are a sinner! The Word of God tells us that "ALL" of us have come short of the Glory of God and no one is good, no not one. That would include you! We do not need to compare sins with one another because the important point is that we are all sinners! In surgical terms we are all contaminated and unsterile, no one is sterile! The One Truth Today is a most trustworthy statement and saying, one we all need to accept: JESUS CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS, and you are one of them!

Jesus Christ the Lord God came into this world to Save us all from death and give us eternal life and that includes you! Paul confesses to breaking God's laws along with all his persecution and rebelliousness. Paul had defied all that was Holy. He was ignorant and his unbelief caused him to reject the Lord. Does that sound like anyone you know personally? No matter what sin you have committed or how heinous is was, you can be forgiven by Jesus Christ, your Savior, and you can receive Mercy and Grace. JESUS CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS, to save you!

If Paul was the foremost of sinners, he was still forgiven and received the Mercy and Grace of the Lord. This displays the long suffering and eternal patience of the Lord, and His love for all of His children. The greatest sinner can still receive the Mercy and Grace of the Lord. That is encouraging to all of us. It demonstrates that whatever sin you may have committed, if you will confess it to the Lord and ask for His Mercy you will receive it! Now that is some "Good News". Our One Truth Today is a trustworthy saying and everyone should accept it. JESUS CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS! Yes, even the worst of them all!

A PURE HEART, A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, A GENUINE FAITH!

1 TIMOTHY 1: 5

"All believer's should be filled with love that comes from A PURE HEART, A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, A GENUINE FAITH!"

The great commission of the Lord is to Love One Another! That is the purpose of the Word of God, to teach us and instruct us in the Love of God. When we accept Jesus Christ the Lord God as our Savior we get a new heart and a new life. We become a new creation. Our One Truth Today is that all believer's should be filled with love that comes from A PURE HEART, A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, A GENUINE FAITH. Our hearts are now filled with the Holy Spirit instead of our carnal sinful nature. We no longer have to have a guilty conscience because the blood of Jesus Christ has washed us clean. We have A CLEAR CONSCIENCE. We no longer follow false gods or unrighteous systems of morality. We have Jesus with a GENUINE FAITH!

We will never achieve perfection until we join the Lord in Heaven, but we are advised to avoid anything that will keep us from a life of faith. We are to avoid sins or confess them if they occur so that we can have a clear conscience. We are to fill our lives and our hearts with love that can only come from a pure heart. We are not to be influenced by those that teach anything contrary to the Word of God, and His Truth. We need to avoid endless discussions about myths or spiritual pedigree's , including genealogies and fables. Vain arguments and discussions are with out purpose and if you are not talking to some one filled with the Love of God, walk away!

If you wonder what God expects from you, this scripture is His instruction. Ask yourself if you are living up to His expectations. We all know that we are not without sin, but we are forgiven

and know that we need to be faithful to confess our sins and ask for forgiveness. We will be known by our fruit including whether we are filled with Love that comes from A PURE HEART,

A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, AND GENUINE FAITH! You have been Saved, filled with the Holy Spirit and instructed by the Word of God as to what the Lord desires of you. Now the rest is up to you and your choices. Be filled with Love, be filled with God!

A PURE HEART, A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, A GENUINE FAITH!

SOME SINS AND GOOD DEEDS ARE OBVIOUS!

1 TIMOTHY 5: 24-25

"Remember, THE SINS OF SOME PEOPLE ARE OBVIOUS, leading them to certain judgement. There are others whose sins will not be revealed until later. In the same way, THE GOOD DEEDS OF SOME PEOPLE ARE OBVIOUS. The good deeds done in secret will someday come to light."

THE SINS OF SOME PEOPLE ARE OBVIOUS. Adolph Hitler comes to mind. We can all be certain that the sins that are not forgiven will lead to the certain judgement of God! All sin. unless it is confessed to Jesus Christ the Lord God, will lead to certain judgement. In this scripture we learn that some sins of some sinners will not be revealed until later and then it will be too late. These hidden sins will be revealed at Judgement Day, by God, and then will come the certain judgement and separation from God. Nothing can be hidden from the Lord!

It is good advice to confess all of your sins to the Lord and ask for His forgiveness! Everything done in the dark will be seen in the light, everything whispered will be shouted from the house tops. Are you prepared to meet your Lord today?

In a like manner, some good deeds, that have not been conspicuous and are unknown will be revealed and come to the light. Sometimes the left hand does not know what the right hand has done. Even so, these good deeds can not be hidden from God. They will be revealed at the time of the Judgement and they will be rewarded. All of our deeds will become manifest and evident and will be revealed at the Great White Throne Judgement. You will have built up treasures for heaven or you will have chosen to condemn yourself to Hell. What are you hiding? You can not hide anything from an Omnipotent God! The Lord is Merciful to those who love Him!

Nothing you have done in your entire life has been done in a void or in hiding. Even if no living person has knowledge of your actions, the Lord knows! If your choices and actions or thoughts are known will they be for good or for evil. Will you have accepted the free gift of life and forgiveness, or will you have rejected God and disrespected Him? Your sins will be revealed and not just the obvious ones. If you have any good deeds to do, do them now, as often as you can. They will someday come to light. Are you ready for your Judgement Day?

CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD!

JEREMIAH 23: 24

"CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD, in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and the earth, says the Lord."

Have you heard the expression that, you can run from yourself, but there is no where to hide? As a little child did you think that if you closed your eyes, everybody and everything would disappear? Now hopefully you know better and understand our One Truth Today. CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD? Is there any place that you can go on the earth or in heaven that God is not there? God is everywhere and just like you can not hide from yourself, you can not hide from God! Are you trying to hide from God today? Are you refusing to acknowledge His existence? Do you think that because you do not believe God He is not there? If you reject God He will not disappear. No, no one can hide from God in the end!

The Lord fills the heaven and the earth and is everywhere. You can see His handiwork in the Universe. The earth is His footstool. Man may try to pretend there is no God but that is just like a child who closes his eyes and thinks things disappear. Mans attempts at anything are feeble compared to God who is Omnipotent. Where do you think that you could go and escape the presence of God. There is no where! CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD-NO!

In Second Thessalonians 1: 7-9 we read that the Lord Jesus Christ will appear from heaven. He will bring judgement on those who do not know Him and those that have rejected His free gift of life. The Good News is that those that have received Jesus Christ into their heart will have the Lord as their personal Savior. Now believer's will never be separated from God and will be with Him for eternity. To be apart from God and separated from Him is a different result. You will be damned forever in Hell. Listen to the still small voice calling out to you before it is too late. CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD! The answer is No you can not hide from God and you had better listen to the One Truth Today before it is too late for you!

REPENT OF YOUR SINS!

LUKE 13: 3

"You will perish, unless you REPENT OF YOUR SINS and turn to God!"

Have you seen the cartoons were the holy man is holding a sign that reads "REPENT SINNER"?

Usually the other side of the sign reads, "THE END IS NEAR". The sign is being held by a man in a robe and sandals, with a long white beard, reminding us of John the Baptist. There is always a joke at the bottom that is meant to be funny. How ironic that something that contains such a concise statement of the Truth has become a joke to so many. The consequences of not getting the message are anything but funny and the difference between life and death. It may seem clever or humorous to make light of our One Truth Today but your life is at stake. YOU WILL PERISH UNLESS YOU REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND TURN TO GOD!

In God's timing mere mortals are always close to the end. The message that the end is near is the truth for us individually. We are here and in the twinkling of God's eye we will reach the end of our human life. It is true that all men will perish and death will happen to all of us. This is not a joke. Your soul will end up in one of two places for eternity. You can be damned to Hell forever, or you can REPENT OF YOUR SINS and turn to God to be Saved and receive an eternal life in Heaven forever. You will perish unless you heed the message of the Lord!

You will not perish, but instead have everlasting life if you heed the message of this scripture.

Ask the Lord into your heart today to dwell with you. REPENT OF YOUR SINS! You can be born again into the Kingdom of God. To repent means to turn around from the path you are on, that is in the flesh and sinful, and follow the straight and narrow path that leads to God.

Turn away from the life of the flesh and instead turn to the life of the Spirit. Your choice and your consequence. You alone are responsible for your choice. REPENT SINNER AND TURN TO GOD, OR YOU WILL PERISH!

WORKING FOR THE LORD!

COLOSSIANS 3: 23

"Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were WORKING FOR THE LORD, rather than for people."

Who do you work for? Who is your Boss? Even if you are working independently, you are still working for your clients or end users. You could say that who ever pays you, is your real boss!

In this world there will always be someone who is over you or to whom you are beholding. It may even be the Government. The smartest business owners know that their customers are the Boss! The customers who pay for your services in the end pay you. In short we all work for some one and the question is who do you work for? The One Truth Today is that you are WORKING FOR THE LORD!

Homemakers, nannies, caregivers, children doing chores in the home, all have one thing in common in this scripture, they are WORKING FOR THE LORD! You should work willingly at whatever you do, as though your boss was really the Lord. In reality you are not working for any person, you are working for God! That is why even the slaves were admonished to be good workers and good slaves in the bible. We have to keep in mind that we are all in servitude to the Lord while we are temporarily here on earth. This is an attitude that is unknown to the unbeliever. You can suffer through any momentary situation because of the promise of the Lord. You will be rewarded by God in the end and the pay is beyond comprehension. So, are you WORKING FOR THE LORD?

No matter what you do, put your whole heart and soul into it, willingly. You are not really working for people, you are, WORKING FOR THE LORD! No complaining because your wages will be much more than any effort extended on your part. You will receive your just compensation from God. The real reward is not in this moment on earth but in Heaven and that eternally. Think about it clearly, you are really a slave to Jesus Christ and He is your master and not anyone else. If you want to be happy and satisfied then always remember in every thing that you do, you are WORKING FOR THE LORD!
