If all we had was the "OLD TESTAMENT", and we lived before the coming of Jesus Christ, we would be at a distinct disadvantage. We would not have the whole truth or the whole "GOSPEL"! For example, Solomon, the wisest man to live in his age, thought everything was vanity. Solomon did not have the "good news" of Jesus Christ. Job knew that he would see His Redeemer, but he was unclear about it because Jesus Christ had not made everything plain by His appearing. This was before Jesus Christ abolished death and brought immortal life to those who love and believe Him. What would your life be like if you did not have the Gospel of the Lord? What if there had never been the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior? NOW GOD HAS MADE EVERYTHING PLAIN!
The Prophets of the Old Testament have had their message come true. God appearing in the flesh is not mere Words. Jesus Christ appearing in the flesh and dwelling among us is the tangible proof the promise and plan of God. We could See Him, Hear Him, Touch Him and the Lord left us His NEW TESTAMENT! We now have the whole truth. GOD HAS MADE EVERYTHING PLAIN! Because Jesus was Saved from the Cross and shed His blood for us we have the miracle of new and eternal life. This was the plan of God from the beginning and now it was evident and present. Share the Good News of the Gospel to all you can for it is life and it is for everyone who believes.
