"You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the Devil, the commander of powers in the unseen world. The devil is the spirit at work in the hearts of THOSE WHO REFUSE TO OBEY GOD!
Do you refuse to obey God? Are you living in sin and obeying the devil? Without the Lord in your heart you are a slave to the commander of the powers of the unseen world. Many people follow a different spirit than one God offers. Just as the song by Bob Dylan states, "you may serve the devil, or you may serve the Lord, but you have to serve somebody"! Believer's in the Lord used to sin just like the rest of the world, but no more! If you are not a believer, the devil is working in your heart right now. You are being deceived and believe the devil's lie that you will not die. Once again life or death comes down to one choice that each of us must make.
You either serve the Lord or you serve the devil. Your choice and your consequence!
Those of us who Know, Love and Fear God have escaped the life of sin and death and have received new life, and that eternal. We were caught up in a path that seemed right to us at the time. We were caught up in the tendencies, fashions and mores of the world. We allowed our selves to be led by the deceitful one and the devil controlled our heart. We rebelled agains God and purposefully refused to obey His commandments and keep His Word. We were lost in our sin. Without the Salvation of the Lord we were lost, and we were not even aware of it!
Are you one of THOSE THAT REFUSE TO OBEY GOD?
We were Saved by Jesus Christ the Lord God by His Grace and Mercy. We opened our hearts and invited the Lord to come in and dwell with us. By this faith we are Saved. The Holy Spirit now resides in our heart and there is no longer any room for the commander of the powers of the unseen world, the devil. It is not difficult to tell whom you serve. If someone continually commits habitual and flagrant sins they are a child of the devil and not of God. If the fruit of their existence is bad they are a child of the devil and not of God. If the devil is still at work in your heart you are one of THOSE THAT REFUSE TO OBEY GOD! Pray that the Lord will Save you and give you a new heart and a new life right now!
