GOOD PARENTING!

PSALM 145: 4

"Let each generation tell it's children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power!"

Do you have any children? Have you been Saved by the Lord Jesus Christ? Are you being a good parent? If you have received the gift of eternal life by the Mercy of God, then you have an obligation to teach your children of the mighty acts of God and to proclaim His Power! You will remember that the beginning of wisdom was your fear, love, and knowledge of God. It is also the beginning of wisdom for your children and the One Truth Today admonishes you to tell your children about God and His mighty acts and power. Have you told your children about the "good news". The Word is to be passed on from one generation to another and it is the obligation of each to carry the message forward!

You have a responsibility to teach your children that Jesus Saves them from damnation and gives them eternal and new life. You have learned and understood the power of God and now it is up to you to instruct your children in the Word. That is what it means to be a good parent!
Now it is up to you to do what you say. The importance of having GOOD PARENTING can not be underestimated. You teach by your actions as well as your words. Your children will be watching you to see if you do what you say they should do. You are the living example of the power of God and they will see what the Lord can do in their lives by watching you. You can have an effect on your family for generations to come by passing along the Word and Power of God!

To be a good parent, you must be a good person. We know that in this world other than Jesus Christ the Lord God, there is no one who is good, no not one. Because you have received the redemption and mercy of the Lord you can be good. When you become a child of God you can lean on Him and His Word for the manual of life. You can then teach your children the right way to find life and peace. You must show them how they too can have eternal life. We become the living word to our family. Have you done your job? Have you proclaimed the power of the Lord to your children. Have you told them of His might acts? That is what it takes to achieve
