ROMANS 2:6
"God will judge everyone according to what they have done!
To those who have not been born again, are you stubborn? Do you refuse to turn from your sin?
You need to know that you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. There is a day of anger coming, when God's righteous judgement will be revealed to you personally. He will give eternal life to those who have accepted Him and repented of their sins, and who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But He will pour out His anger and wrath on those who live for themselves and refuse to obey His truth! There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing evil.
Do you think you will escape the judgement? What if you are wrong? Perhaps you think that God is not Punitive and will forgive anything you have done. What if you have come to an unsound conclusion about God. God shows no partiality to one man over another. He is not unfair nor does He show undue favor to anyone. All who have sinned under the law will perish under the law. All will be judged and condemned by the law. That includes all of us.
We are as bad as the very people we condemn and we have no excuse at the time of judgement. God is wonderfully kind, tolerant and patient in His judgement if we turn from our sin. If you open the door of your heart to Jesus Christ and ask Him to come in an dwell with you, He will do so. You will need to repent of your sins and ask His forgiveness. Jesus will then become your advocate at the time of Judgement. Your sins will be forgiven and you will be entitled to eternal life because you belong to Jesus. When God asks, "what have you done", you will be able to tell of your love of the Lord and your repentance of sin and you will escape the anger of God
