Jesus Christ, the Lord God, was without sin. Why did He PRAY OFTEN AND ALONE? The Lord was praying for others and for the world that He had created! We need to learn from the Lord and emulate Him in all His ways. We need to pray to the Lord for others and for this world that we live in. As the disciples learned, their prayers were not always effective and the Lord advised them what to do. Fasting and withdrawing into to secluded places for additional prayer was His advice. Jesus was advising them to do what He had done. Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness to pray! If you want to be more like Jesus then learn this One Truth Today!
When the world closes in on you, and life becomes too hectic and too busy, that is the time to with draw to a quiet secluded place and pray alone! It is good advice to have a "quiet time" each and every day of your life. Stop and reflect on the Word of the Lord and by all means pray without ceasing to God! You can build a strong spiritual muscle with the exercise of praying alone and often and on a regular basis! Find a place where the world can not interfere or intrude on your concentrated time with the Lord. PRAY OFTEN AND ALONE!
Retreats and seminars can be an important part of this valued time. Even there set aside some of the time to be alone. It is wonderful to pray with your spouse or family but the Lord felt it important to PRAY OFTEN AND ALONE! You and the Lord with some alone time is time well spent. It is the example that the Lord provided for us. The truth is that we are never alone and that God is with us throughout our entire lives. We need to acknowledge this and the best way is to pray without ceasing to the God of our creation. He is right there and He cares about every little detail of your life. He knows your name and He hears our petitions and requests, and He will answer them. When it come to the Lord, PRAY OFTEN AND ALONE!
