KEEP ON ASKING and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find it. Keep on knocking and the door will opened unto you."
When you ask for something, what are your expectations? Do you believe that you should get everything that you ask for, as soon as you want it? Are you persistent and determined to receive what you ask for, no matter how long it takes? Now the most important question; is what you are asking for in God's Will? The One Truth Today gives us an assurance from the Lord! If we KEEP ON ASKING, we will receive what we asked for. If we just keep on seeking, we will find what we are looking for. If we just keep on knocking, the door will be opened for us. A lot of people are convinced this is not true. They need to examine if there requests are in God's will and whether or not they gave up before their prayers could be answered. The Lord made the same prayer three times in the garden of Gethsemane and if He can KEEP ON ASKING , then so should we.
You will get an answer to every prayer. It will vary according to the will of God, and the time that you ask. You can receive what you asked for instantaneously, or it could be delayed to another time, or the answer can be no. You can be assured as a child of God that your every prayer is being heard by God. Some times we have some repenting to do before our prayers will be answered. If the request is not in God's will, he will deny it for your own good. If you become separated from God, you should not expect a positive response. The important lesson for today is that we are encouraged to KEEP ON ASKING, keep on seeking, and keep on knocking for the answer to our prayers!
Have you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart and dwell with you? Is the Holy Spirit residing in your heart today? Do you have a new heart and a new mind? Have you committed your life to God and are you persistently worshiping Him and devoted to Him? Have you studied the valuable resources of the Word of God? Do you continually check your relationship with the Lord? Do you seek him first in everything? Do you know and understand His Will for your life? Then KEEP ON ASKING, and you will receive. Keep on seeking and you will find what you are looking for. Keep on knocking and the doors will be opened unto you!
