Have you heard the expression that "you can run from yourself, but, there is no where to hide". As a little child did you think that if you closed your eyes that everything would disappear? Well it is time to ask the real question that has real consequences! CAN ANYONE HIDE FROM GOD? The One Truth Today has the answer! No one can hide from God. There is no secret place that you can go to, and you can not just close your eyes. God is everywhere, in all the earth and throughout the heavens! You can run, but you can not hide! God is Omnipresent, and that means that He is present at all times and in all places. Are you trying to hide from God? Have you tried to avoid learning the Truth about the Lord. Are you refusing to acknowledge His existence? Do you think that because you rejected God He has disappeared?
The Lord fills the heavens and the earth and is everywhere. You can see His handiwork in all the universe. He is evident in the sun, moon, and the stars. The earth is His footstool. Man may try and explain away all that is visible to the naked eye, but, their attempts are feeble at best and rebellious at worst. Man has made attempts to explore the universe and they are feeble and ineffective. Now imagine if man would try and bring the universe into existence. Only an Omnipotent God could do such a thing. In Second Thessalonians 1: 7-9 we read that the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will bring judgement on those who do not know and have not accepted the Lord as their personal Saviour. Those that have refused to hear and accept the "Good News", will be separated from God and will be punished with eternal damnation. To be apart from God and His Glory is to be eternally in Hell.
